name: Nasty Plot
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Substitute
move 3: Psyshock
move 4: Draining Kiss
item: Leftovers
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie can act as a terrifying late-game cleaner with its Nasty Plot set. Substitute lets it avoid status such as Toxic from Articuno and Altaria, dodge Knock Off from Tangela and Clefairy, and sponge hits from weak attackers like Eldegoss, Clefairy lacking Seismic Toss, and Stunfisk. Psyshock is preferred over Psychic as a STAB move to get around special walls like Articuno and Clefairy more easily. Draining Kiss lets Uxie break through Dark-types like Thievul and Morpeko after a boost and provides coveted recovery.

Uxie is a great late-game cleaner for bulkier teams that can weaken its checks over time. Therefore, entry hazard support, especially Spikes from setters such as Coalossal and Qwilfish, is invaluable. Knock Off support is similarly valuable for removing Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, the latter being the only form of recovery of Steel-types that check Uxie like Klinklang and Perrserker. Toxic users such as Altaria and Rapidash cripple the likes of Haze Articuno, Alcremie, and Musharna to help Uxie break through them. Uxie can also fit well with other defensive sweepers like Spiritomb and Alcremie, weakening each other’s checks and forcing Trick uses to ensure one of them can sweep.

move 2: Stealth Rock
move 3: Yawn / Future Sight
move 4: Knock Off / Future Sight
item: Colbur Berry
ability: Levitate
nature: Relaxed
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
ivs: 0 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie is a premier defensive pivot in VoltTurn teams due to its incredible role compression as the only viable Pokemon with both U-turn and Stealth Rock. Additionally, Uxie's incredible bulk lets it reliably check threats like Sawk and Silvally-Poison. Levitate also helps in that regard, avoiding chip damage from Spikes and giving it switch-in opportunities on Rhydon and Piloswine. Yawn allows Uxie to avoid being setup fodder and force out entry hazard removers like Altaria, Articuno, and Coalossal and therefore keep Stealth Rock up. Knock Off lets Uxie remove important items like Heavy-Duty Boots from Articuno, Cramorant, and Altaria and Eviolite from Piloswine, Rhydon, and Tangela. Future Sight lets Uxie's partners threaten their checks with the extra, delayed damage. Colbur Berry allows Uxie to counter Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr by weakening their Knock Off; it also lets Uxie take a hit from strong Dark-type wallbreakers such as Thievul, Silvally-Dark, and Shiftry and pivot out with a super effective U-turn.

Uxie can form a VoltTurn core with other pivots such as Alolan Persian, Rotom, and Wishiwashi. Such cores are beneficial to wallbreakers that prefer safe switches like Silvally formes, Thievul, and Sawk. Dark-types like Silvally-Dark and Skuntank value Uxie's ability to wall Fighting-types like Sawk and can, in return, threaten Ghost-types like Gourgeist-S and Rotom. Physical wallbreakers like Kangaskhan and Silvally formes appreciate Future Sight threatening physical walls such as Miltank, Qwilfish, and Tangela. Uxie lacks recovery and gets quickly worn down by Toxic; other walls like Clefairy, Wishiwashi, and Qwilfish can absorb status and take attacks that Uxie can't afford to take. Clefairy also has Aromatherapy to cure Uxie of any status. Pokemon like Poliwrath and Jynx pressure hazard removers like Coalossal, Articuno, and Altaria, helping keep up Uxie's Stealth Rock.

[SET]
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Stored Power
move 3: Draining Kiss
move 4: Rest
item: Electric Seed
ability: Levitate
evs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie finds a spot in Electric Terrain teams as a Calm Mind sweeper. Stored Power has insane power after Calm Mind and Electric Seed, letting Uxie break through bulkier foes like Articuno and Pyukumuku. Draining Kiss lets Uxie threaten Dark-types like Thievul and Silvally-Dark. Rest is Uxie's best form of recovery, also letting it deal with status from special walls like Articuno lacking Haze and Clefairy. The given spread allows Uxie to outspeed Timid Exeggutor.

Pincurchin is a necessary partner for Electric Surge. Other Electric Seed sweepers like Musharna, Swoobat, Drifblim, and Galarian Rapidash can weaken shared checks, forming a Calm Mind spam core. Electric-types like Raichu and Manectric also appreciate Electric Terrain and can break through special walls, making it easier for Uxie and the other Calm Mind users. In return, Uxie can set up on Ground-types that wall Raichu and Manectric thanks to Levitate.

[SET]
name: Offense Lead
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Memento
move 3: Encore
move 4: Yawn
item: Mental Herb
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie's great Speed and amazing bulk make it a great supporter for offensive teams, being able to set Stealth Rock and then cripple the opposing Pokemon with Memento, Encore, or Yawn, giving switching and setup opportunities to teammates. Since this set isn't running any offensive move, Mental Herb is the preferred item to not get completely invalidated by Taunt users like Skuntank, Golbat, and Alolan Persian.

Setup spam offense teams really enjoy Uxie's role compression, creating setup opportunities and providing Stealth Rock. Therefore, offensive setup users like Crustle, Frosmoth, and Silvally formes make for great partners. Pokemon that can advantage of Taunt users that Uxie invites in, such as Alcremie, Double Dance Rhydon, and Rotom-S, are appreciated. Gourgeist-S can prevent Rapid Spin attempts, while Taunt users like Skuntank and Qwilfish deny Defog.

[SET]
name: Sun Setter
move 1: Sunny Day
move 2: Stealth Rock
move 3: U-turn
move 4: Yawn / Memento
item: Heat Rock
ability: Levitate
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its great bulk and higher Speed than common Taunt users such as Skuntank, Qwilfish, and Sawk, Uxie is capable of reliably setting sun and Stealth Rock several times. U-turn brings sun attackers safely onto the field. Yawn forces out foes that would attempt to set up on Uxie such as Skuntank and Ninetales, which works well with Uxie's fast U-turn. Memento can alternatively be used to provide similar opportunities to Yawn and U-turn in one turn at the cost of sacrificing Uxie.

Sun sweepers such as Shiftry, Leafeon, Ivysaur, and Rapidash love Uxie's ability to reliably set sun. Prankster Liepard is a reliable secondary weather setter to support the team. An offensive sun setter such as Exeggutor creates more opportunities to set it up.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Uxie can run a specially defensive spread on its defensive set to better handle special attackers such as Ninetales and Manectric at the expense of switching into Sawk, Rhydon, and Gurdurr. Leftovers is an alternative to Colbur Berry on Uxie's defensive set, providing reliable recovery and improving its longevity. However, this makes Uxie vulnerable to Knock Off. Thunder Wave is a viable alternative to Knock Off that cripples faster attackers such as Thievul, Cinccino, and Silvally formes, letting Uxie's teammates take them on more easily. Defensive Uxie can also run Choice Scarf with Trick and 64 Speed EVs, letting it outspeed up to Cinccino and Alolan Persian and cripple a potential entry hazard remover like Articuno or Coalossal. However, Uxie can get a crippling item like Skuntank's Black Sludge or Rotom's Choice Specs, or even become setup fodder for Silvally formes due to their Trick immunity. Memento is an alternative for the defensive pivot set, blocking Defog and bringing in a teammate more safely than U-turn, but Uxie often can't fit it. Encore can be used to punish Pokemon that otherwise freely set up on Uxie like Galarian Rapidash and Ninetales.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ghost-types**: Uxie is threatened by attackers such as Rotom and Gourgeist-S. However, most of them take great damage from Knock Off and STAB moves, meaning Uxie can pressure them on the switch.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types such as Thievul, Silvally-Dark, and Skuntank threaten Uxie with their super effective STAB moves, block Future Sight, and can sponge boosted Draining Kiss. However, most take heavy damage from U-turn, and Colbur Berry Uxie can afford to take a hit.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Defensive sweepers such as Alcremie and Spiritomb easily set up on the weak Uxie. This also includes Substitute users such as Frosmoth. Most of them can also beat Uxie in a setup war.

**Wallbreakers and Stallbreakers**: Wallbreakers such as Thwackey and Basculin can use Uxie's passivity to threaten its whole team with their powerful moves. However, they dislike losing Choice Band or Choice Specs to Knock Off. Faster Taunt users such as Alolan Persian can shut down Uxie's utility and take advantage of it with Toxic.

**Steel-types**: Setup Uxie sets have a very hard time breaking through Steel-types such as Perrserker and Klinklang due to its low damage output. They can easily break Uxie's Substitute and remove Uxie before it is boosted enough.

**Haze Articuno and Pyukumuku**: Haze Articuno and Unaware Pyukumuku can wall most setup Uxie. However, Pyukumuku has to be wary of Stored Power's increased Base Power.

Uxie combines bulk and Speed which let it reliably setup dual screen several time during the game. U-turn lets Uxie switch out and bring safely a teammate to abuse screens while keeping momentum. Setup sweepers such as Swords Silvally-Dragon, Shell Smash Omastar, and Quiver Dance Frosmoth enjoy the added bulk from dual screen which give them more opportunities to setup (the setup moves are implied when you introduce them as sweepers). Uxie can run a specially defensive spread in the first set, worsening its matchup (remove hyphen) versus physical attackers like Sawk, Rhydon, and Gurdurr it aimed to check, but allowing it switch into (remove hypen; switch-in is a noun, this is a verb phrase) special attackers such as Magmortar and Vanilluxe. Leftovers are an alternative to Colbur Berry on the defensive sets, the passive recovery improves its longevity, however Uxie is most likely going to get hurt by Knock Off and the damage reduction from the common Dark moves (remove hyphen; only use hyphen for Dark-type, Dark used generally is fine as is) are more appreciated and usually save for more HP than Leftovers do. The defensive set can also run a Choice Scarf with Trick to cripple an opponent in the early-game (add hyphen), however Uxie usually lacks the room for it. Memento is an alternative on every set, that can block Defog and let a teammate come more safely than with U-turn, however Uxie often can't fit it in its moveset. Uxie can run boosting sets with Substitute and Calm Mind or Nasty Plot, however Uxie's initial power is very low and it can't break before getting several boosts.

Checks and Counters

**Ghost- and Bug-types**: Due to its weakness to Ghost and Bug, Uxie is threatened by attackers such as Rotom, Silvally-Ghost, and Centiskorch Gourgeist-Small. However, (add comma) Ghost-types take great damage from Knock Off whereas Bug-types hate losing their Heavy-Duty Boots, meaning Uxie can pressure still them. (There's only one relevant Bug-type so it's misleading to allude to multiple. Instead, we can fit Centi down below)

**Dark-types**: Dark-types such as Sneasel, Silvally-Dark, and Skuntank threaten Uxie with their super effective STAB moves and are immune to its STAB moves block Future Sight (concise, more relevant to how they check Uxie). However, (Add comma) they take heavy damage from U-turn and thanks to its Colbur Berry, Uxie can afford to take a hit.

**Substitute**: Uxie is weak and therefore can't cripple foes behind a Substitute. That's why Substitute users such as Silvally-Dragon, Frosmoth, and Dugtrio-Alola can easily take advantage of Uxie's passivity to setup. )(There aren't that many Substitute users, and it's not like Future Sight into U-turn isn't that weak. This point is a little too niche for a check section by itself, and we can fit it in below in the next point)

**Defensive setup**: Just like Substitute users, most defensive sweepers such as Alcremie, Cofagrigus, and Spiritomb aren't harmed much by Uxie and can easily setup on its face. (Add Substitute Frosmoth and Silvally-Dragon here)

**Wallbreakers and Stallbreakers**: (Add Centisckorch, Drampa, Vanilluxe, any standard wallbreakers that prey on Uxie's passivity. Then add faster Taunt users that shut down Uxie's utility.)

Maybe smth like "Future Sight lets Uxie threaten its partners' checks with...) Psychic is an option that serves as a STAB move that can immediately threaten Fighting- and Poison-types such as Sawk and Garbodor. Colbur Berry is the most optimal item since it allows Uxie to counter Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr by weakening their Knock Off, it also lets it take less damage from strong Dark-types breakers such as Sneasel, Silvally-Dark, and Liepard making them think twice before switch-in into Uxie. Uxie combines bulk and Speed which let it reliably setup dual screen several time during the game. U-turn lets Uxie switch out and bring safely a teammate to abuse screens while keeping momentum. Uxie compresses Stealth Rock and dual screen for its team, allowing for more setup sweepers in its team. Uxie can run a specially defensive spread in the first set, worsening its matchup versus physical attackers like Sawk, Rhydon, and Gurdurr it aimed to check, but allowing it to better switch into special attackers such as Magmortar and Vanilluxe. (Better b/c they still chip it down heavily so it isn't consistently switching in) Leftovers are an alternative to Colbur Berry on the defensive sets, the passive recovery improves its longevity, however Uxie is most likely going to get hurt by Knock Off and the damage reduction from the common Dark moves are more appreciated and usually save more HP than Leftovers do. The defensive set can also run a Choice Scarf with Trick to cripple an opponent in the early-game, however Uxie usually lacks the room for it. (Unsure about this tbh because Trick on defensive seems super niche compared to other options, something to bring up with the QC team) Memento is an alternative on every set, that can block Defog and let a teammate come more safely than with U-turn, however Uxie often can't fit it in its moveset. Uxie can run boosting sets with Substitute and Calm Mind or Nasty Plot, however Uxie's initial power is very low and it can't break before getting several boosts.

**Defensive setup**: Most defensive sweepers such as Alcremie, Cofagrigus, and Spiritomb aren't harmed much by Uxie and can easily setup on its face. This also includes Substitute users such as Frosmoth and Silvally-Dragon that are protected from Uxie's move behind a Substitute, since most of them can't break the Substitute. (Could condense this to "since Uxie cannot usually break their Substitutes. "Bulky Setup Sweepers" seems more fitting here over "defensive setup" because you mention Frosmoth and Silv-Dragon)

**Wallbreakers and Stallbreakers**: Any standard wallbreaker such as Centiskorch, Drampa, and Vanilluxe can prey on Uxie's passivity to threaten its whole team with their powerful moves. However, they dislike getting crippled by Knock Off as it removes their valuable Heavy-Duty Boots and Choice Specs. Fast Taunt users such as Alolan Persian and Froslass can shut down Uxie's utility and take advantage of it (briefly mention how they do).

Uxie is a premier defensive pivot in the metagame thanks to its excellent bulk, access to a plethora of utility moves, and Levitate making it hard to weaken via hazards. U-turn lets Uxie pivot out of negative matchups and gain momentum, while damaging its checks like Alolan Persian. On the one hand, Knock Off lets Uxie remove important items like Centiskorch's Heavy-Duty Boots, Ferroseed's Eviolite, and Wishiwashi's Leftovers. On the other hand, Thunder Wave cripples faster attackers such as Magmortar, Silvally-Dragon, and Sneasel, letting Uxie's teammates take on them more easily. Future Sight lets Uxie's partners threaten their checks with the extra, delayed damage. (Phrasing here reads as if Uxie's teammates are the ones dealing damage. (Should have something more specific here. For example, "allowing Uxie to pivot on them one time and weaken them with U-turn")

Uxie can form a VoltTurn core with other pivots such as Alolan Persian, Rotom, and Wishiwashi. Such cores are beneficial to wallbreakers like Sneasel, Magmortar, and Basculin that appreciate to switch in safely. Dark-types like Silvally-Dark and Skuntank appreciate Uxie's ability to wall Fighting-types like Sawk and can in return threaten Ghost-types like Cofagrigus and Rotom that beat Uxie; they also enjoy Future Sight threatening their defensive checks like Poliwrath, Garbodor, and Throh. (I think this is more clear than the current form)

Uxie can form a VoltTurn core with other pivots such as Alolan Persian, Rotom, and Wishiwashi. Such cores are beneficial to wallbreakers like Cinccino, Thievul, and Basculin that appreciate safely switching into battle. Dark-types like Silvally-Dark and Skuntank value Uxie's ability to wall Fighting-types like Sawk and can, in return, threaten Ghost-types like Cofagrigus and Rotom that beat Uxie it; they also enjoy Future Sight threatening their defensive checks like Poliwrath, Garbodor, and Throh. Likewise, physical wallbreakers like Centiskorch and Sawk appreciate Future Sight threatening physical walls such as Miltank, Qwilfish, and Cofagrigus. Uxie lacks recovery and gets quickly worn down by Toxic; other walls like Clefairy, Poliwrath, and Qwilfish can absorb status and take attacks that Uxie can't afford to take.

Thanks to its great bulk and Speed, Uxie is capable of reliably setting weather and Stealth Rock several times throughout the game. U-turn allows Uxie to generate momentum by bringing weather abusers sweepers(attackers also work) safely onto the field. Yawn forces out foes that would attempt to set up on Uxie such as Alcremie and Rotom-S.

Sun abusers sweepers such as Shiftry, Leafeon, and Ninetales love Uxie's ability to reliably set sun; likewise, rain breakers(wallbreakers?sweepers? can't have breakers on its own) such as Qwilfish, Poliwrath, and Kabutops appreciate it setting rain. Liepard is a great partner thanks to its ability to set up weather with Prankster, making it a reliable secondary weather setter to support the team. An offensive weather setter such as Exeggutor on sun teams and Ludicolo on rain teams,(RC) respectively,(RC) also makes for a great partner since having multiple weather setters gives more opportunities to set them up. Snow Warning users in Hail setters such as Vanilluxe, Aurorus, and Abomasnow remove sun and rain as they switch in, making them huge threats for weather team. Therefore, checks to Ice-types such as Frosmoth and Perrserker on rain teams and Centiskorch and Ninetales on sun teams are appreciated.

Uxie's combination of bulk and Speed let it reliably setup dual screens several times during the game. U-turn lets Uxie switch out and safely bring safely a teammate to use dual screens while keeping momentum. Uxie provides both Stealth Rock and dual screens for its team, allowing for more setup sweepers on its team. Yawn forces out Defog users Defoggers,(RC) that remove Reflect and Light Screen and Pokemon that would use Uxie as setup fodder.

Setup sweepers such as Silvally-Ghost, Rhydon, and Frosmoth enjoy dual screens support which that gives them more opportunities to set up. Faster Taunt users such as Alolan Persian and Froslass disrupt Uxie from setting up dual screens and sweepers from setting up; attackers that can force them out like Calm Mind Alcremie and Swords Dance Rapidash are appreciated. Even with Yawn, Uxie can struggle to beat Defog users Defoggers such as Rotom, Rotom-S, and Cramorant; Pokemon that can take advantage of them such as Double Dance Rhydon and Nasty Plot Rotom make for good partners.

Uxie can run a specially defensive spread on its defensive set, worsening its matchup versus physical attackers like Sawk, Rhydon, and Gurdurr,(RC) but allowing it to better switch into special attackers such as Magneton and Vanilluxe. Leftovers are an alternative to Colbur Berry on Uxie's defensive set, providing reliable recovery and improving its longevity. However, this makes Uxie vulnerable to Knock Off, and it better appreciates the damage reduction from the common Dark-type moves that usually save more HP than Leftovers. Memento is an alternative on every set that can block Defog and bring in a teammate more safely than with U-turn, however but Uxie often can't fit it on its move set. Uxie can attempt to set up with Substitute and Calm Mind or Nasty Plot; however, Uxie's initial power is very low, and it can't wallbreak before getting several boosts.

Great work! Keep it up!

Knock Off lets Uxie remove important items like Centiskorch's Heavy-Duty Boots, Ferroseed's Eviolite, and Wishiwashi's Leftovers.
Wishi's leftovers isn't really a high value knock as its mostly seen running rest talk. I'd instead maybe replace it with something like Cramorant's boots that would otherwise be able to freely switch in and defog off the rocks you just set without fear of its boots getting knocked

it also lets Uxie take less damage from strong Dark-types wallbreakers such as Thievul, Silvally-Dark, and Liepard, allowing it to take a hit and cripple them with Thunder Wave or weaken them with U-turn.
Liepard isn't really a relevant dark type anymore so I'd replace its mention for shiftry or even persian-a

Such cores are beneficial to wallbreakers like Cinccino, Thievul, and Basculin that appreciate safely switching into battle.
I think Cinc and Basc can get swapped out for more relevant examples of nukes you want to bring in safely with both of them kinda falling off. Stuff like Silvallies should be at least mentioned here as they're some of the best partners as wall as maybe a kanga, sawk, or even flapple mention wouldn't hurt. Up to you on all of this but I think Cinc and Basc aren't great examples to pick right now

other walls like Clefairy, Poliwrath, and Qwilfish can absorb status and take attacks that Uxie can't afford to take.
Defensive poli is seldom run now so I'd replace it for a more generic wall mention like Tangela that can take a bulk of the physical shots aimed at uxie that would break it like Kanga

Uxie can act as a terrifying late game cleaner with its Nasty Plot set. Substitute lets it avoid status and item removal from the likes of Tangela and Audino
You explain the dodging knock off from Tangela and Audino but failed to give any relevant status dodging aside from tangela some times running sleep powder which to get to that point when reading this sentence you have to read into it to get it. I'd list relevant status dodging you dodge and maybe make it a bit more clear

while being able to sponge weak hits from weak attackers like Cramorant and Clefairy.
Cramorant's brave bird will break a sub as well as Clefairy opting to run Seismic toss fairly often. I agree with what this part is trying to say about taking weak hits but I'd pick different examples

Other defensive sweepers such as Iron Defense Cofagrigus and Calm Mind Spiritomb fits well in these teams too and share checks with Uxie in the form of Dark-types.
Generally you'd want to avoid stacking passive bulky set up sweepers and opt to make 1 bulky set up sweeper the focus of the team, so I'd personally recommend cutting this part entirely

Memento is better on sun than Yawn is because its not enough to just force a switch with Yawn, you need the momentum + force out that memento gives you to set up cleanly with a sun sweeper. Sadly its different to rain in that regard and sun gets so much more out of memento than it ever will with Yawn. I'd honestly move Yawn to OO and bring Memento back out of OO as main set.

Uxie can act as a terrifying late game cleaner with its Nasty Plot set. Substitute lets it avoid status such as Toxic from Articuno, and Altaria and dodge item removal from Tangela and Clefairy, while being able to sponge weak hits from weak attackers like Eldegoss, Clefairy lacking Seismic Toss, and Stunfisk. [State why Psyshock is preferred over Psychic (since you haven't slashed it at all); "Psyshock can better deal with special walls such as ..."]Draining Kiss lets Uxie break through Dark-types like Thievul and Morpeko after a boost, while providing coveted recovery, as it is Uxie's sole form of recovery outside of Leftovers.

Uxie is a great late game cleaner for bulkier teams that can weaken its checks over time. Therefore, entry hazard support, especially Spikes from setters such as Alolan Sandslash and Qwilfish are very valuable to rack up damage. Knock Off support is for the same reason valuable, as it makes hazards more effective by removing Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, the latter being the only form of recovery of Steel-types like Klinklang and Alolan Sandslash than can check Uxie. Toxic users such Altaria, Alolan Sandslash, and Rapidash able to cripple the likes of Haze Articuno, Alcremie, and Musharna can help Uxie break through them. Eventually, Uxie can also fit well with other defensive sweepers like Cofagrigus and Alcremie, weakening each other checks and can force out Trick so the other sweeper can setup safely.

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie is a premier defensive pivot in the VoltTurn teams due to the incredible role compression it provides, being the solde viable Pokemon learning both U-turn and Stealth Rock. Additionally, Uxie's incredible bulk lets is reliably pivot and check threats like Sawk and Silvally-Poison. Levitate also helps in that regard, avoiding chips from Spikes and giving it switch-in opportunities on Rhydon and Piloswine. Yawn allows Uxie to force out hazard removers like Altaria, Articuno, and Coalossal and therefore keep Stealth Rock against them. It also makes up for Uxie's passivity, making it less setup fodder. Colbur Berry allows Uxie to counter Fighting-types such as Sawk and Gurdurr by weakening their Knock Off; it also lets Uxie take less damage from strong Dark-types wallbreakers such as Thievul, Silvally-Dark, and Shiftry, allowing it to take a hit and pivot out with a super effective U-turn. The given EVs spread allows Uxie to outspeed max Speed Arctovish as well as common bulky Cramorant sets (not sure about the common Cramorant sets thing atm, Cram seems to be better when it's faster to check Skuntank so maybe change this last part).

Uxie can form a VoltTurn core with other pivots such as Alolan Persian, Rotom, and Wishiwashi. Such cores are beneficial to wallbreakers like Silvally formes, Thievul, and Sawk that appreciate safely switching into battle. Dark-types like Silvally-Dark and Skuntank value Uxie's ability to wall Fighting-types like Sawk and can, in return, threaten Ghost-types like Cofagrigus and Rotom that beat it. Physical wallbreakers like Silvally-Dark and Sawk appreciate Future Sight threatening physical walls such as Miltank, Qwilfish, and Cofagrigus. Uxie lacks recovery and gets quickly worn down by Toxic; other walls like Clefairy, Tangela Wishiwashi(not sure you want Tangela to switch into a Toxic, something like Wishiwashi would be better here since it has RestTalk), and Qwilfish can absorb status and take attacks that Uxie can't afford to take. Clefairy also has Aromatherapy to cure Uxie of any status. Pokemon able to pressure hazard removers like Coalossal, Articuno, and Altaria such as Poliwrath, Alolan Sandslash, and Jynx, help keeping up Uxie's Stealth Rock.

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie finds a spot in Electric Terrain teams as a Calm Mind sweeper. Stored Power is Uxie's main STAB move, reaching an insane base power after some uses of Calm Mind and Electric Seed's activation, letting Uxie break through bulkier foes like Articuno and Pyukumuku. Draining Kiss lets Uxie threaten Dark-types like Thievul and Silvally-Dark. Rest is Uxie's best form of recovery, also letting it deal with status from special walls like Articuno lacking Haze and Clefairy that would attempt to Toxic stall Uxie. The given spread allows Uxie to outspeed Adamant Alolan Sandslash and common bulky sets of Cramorant.

Pincurchin is a necessary partner as it is required to activate Electric Seed. Other Electric Seed sweepers like Musharna, Swoobat, Drifblim, and Galarian Rapidash can weaken their shared checks, forming a Calm Mind spam core. Electric-types like Raichu and Manectric also appreciate Electric-terrain and can break through special walls, making it easier for Uxie and the other Calm Mind users to break through them. In return, Uxie can take advantage of Ground-types that wall Raichu and Manectric thanks to Levitate and use them as setup fodder.

[SET COMMENTS]
Uxie's great Speed and amazing bulk lets it act as a great support for offensive teams, being able to setup Stealth Rock and then cripple the opposing Pokemon with a status move in Memento, Encore, or Yawn, giving switching and setup opportunities to teammates. Since this set isn't running any offensive move, the Mental Herb is the prefered item to not get completely invalidated by Taunt users like Skuntank, Golbat, and Alolan Persian.

Setup spam offense really enjoy Uxie's role compression, creating setup opportunities and providing Steath Rock support. Therefore offensive setup users like Crustle, Frosmoth, and Silvally formes make for great partners. Pokemon that can advantage of Taunt users that Uxie invites in, such as Alcremie, Double Dance Rhydon, and Rotom-S are appreciated. Gourgeist-S can prevent Rapid Spin attempts removing Stealth Rock set by Uxie, while Taunt users like Skuntank and Qwilfish are also appreciated, as they can deny Defog.

[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its great bulk and Speed, Uxie is capable of reliably setting sun and Stealth Rock several times throughout the game, as it outspeeds common Taunt users such as Skuntank, Qwilfish, and Sawk. U-turn allows Uxie to generate momentum by bringing sun attackers safely (not particularly true since you're so fast and it's not like this set forces switches unless you use it with Yawn. Maybe emphasise this more in the next point) onto the field. Yawn forces out foes that would attempt to set up on Uxie such as Skuntank and Ninetales. Memento can alternatively used to provide the same benefits as Yawn and U-turn is one turn at the cost of sacrificing Uxie.

Sun sweepers such as Shiftry, Leafeon, Ivysaur, and Rapidash love Uxie's ability to reliably set sun. Liepard is a great partner thanks to its ability to set up weather with Prankster, making it a reliable secondary weather setter to support the team. An offensive sun setter such as Exeggutor also makes for a great partner since having multiple sun setters gives more opportunities to set it up.

Leftovers are an alternative to Colbur Berry on Uxie's defensive set, providing reliable recovery and improving its longevity. However, this makes Uxie vulnerable to Knock Off, and it better appreciates the damage reduction from the common Dark-type moves more that usually save more HP than Leftovers. Thunder Wave is a viable alternative to Knock Off that cripples faster attackers such as Thievul, Cinccino, and Silvally formes, letting Uxie's teammates take them on more easily. Defensive Uxie can also run Choice Scarf with Trick and 64 Speed EVs, letting it outspeed up to Cinccino and Alolan Persian and cripple a potential hazard remover like Articuno and Coalossal. However, Uxie can get crippling items like Skuntank's Black Sludge or Rotom's Choice Specs, or even get become setup fodder for Silvally formes due to their Trick immunity. Memento is an alternative on the Defensive Pivot sets that can block Defog and bring in a teammate more safely than U-turn, but Uxie often can't fit it on its move set. Encore can be used to punish Pokemon that would setup freely on Uxie like Galarian Rapidash or Ninetales.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ghost-types**: Due to its weakness to Ghost, Uxie is threatened by attackers such as Rotom, Cofagrigus, and Gourgeist-S. However, most of them take great damage from Knock Off and STAB moves, meaning Uxie can still pressure them on the switch.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types such as Thievul, Silvally-Dark, and Skuntank threaten Uxie with their super effective STAB moves, block Future Sight, and can sponge a boosted Draining Kiss. However, they take heavy damage from U-turn, and thanks to its Colbur Berry, Uxie can afford to take a hit.(Skuntank doesn't care about U-turn that much)

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Defensive sweepers such as Alcremie, Cofagrigus, and Spiritomb aren't harmed much by Uxie and can easily set up against it. This also includes Substitute users such as Frosmoth, since Uxie cannot usually break their Substitute. Most of them can also out setup setup versions of Uxie beat Uxie in a setup war.

**Wallbreakers and Stallbreakers**: Wallbreakers such as Thwackey and Basculin can prey on Uxie's passivity to threaten its whole team with their powerful moves. However, they dislike getting crippled by Knock Off, as it removes their valuable Choice Band and Choice Specs. Faster Taunt users such as Alolan Persian can shut down Uxie's utility and take advantage of it with Toxic, respectively.

**Steel-types**: Setup sets of Uxie has a very hard time breaking through Steel-types such as Alolan Sandslash, Perrserker and Klinklang due to its low damage output and their resistances to Psychic-type moves. They can easily break Uxie's Substitute and remove Uxie before it is boosted enough.

**Haze Articuno and Pyukumuku**: Thanks to Haze and Unaware, respectively, Articuno and Pyukumuku can ignore Uxie's boosts and Uxie is too weak unboosted to break through them. However, Pyukumuku has to be warry of Stored Power whose base power's increase isn't ignored by Unaware.

Substitute lets it avoid status such as Toxic from Articuno and Altaria and dodge item removal from Tangela and Clefairy, while also being able to sponge weak hits from weak attackers like Eldegoss, Clefairy lacking Seismic Toss, and Stunfisk. Uxie is a premier defensive pivot in the VoltTurn teams due to the incredible role compression it provides, being the sole viable Pokemon learning both U-turn and Stealth Rock. Additionally, Uxie's incredible bulk lets is reliably pivot and check threats like Sawk and Silvally-Poison. Levitate also helps in that regard, avoiding chip damage from Spikes and giving it switch-in opportunities on Rhydon and Piloswine. Yawn allows Uxie to force out hazard removers like Altaria, Articuno, and Coalossal and therefore keep Stealth Rock against them. It also makes up for Uxie's passivity, making it less setup fodder.

Physical wallbreakers like Silvally-Dark and Sawk appreciate Future Sight threatening physical walls such as Miltank, Qwilfish, and Cofagrigus (You mention these teammates before. Switch to other examples like Kangaskhan, or mention phazers like Circle Throw Throw and Poliwrath to combo with Future Sight too) . Uxie lacks recovery and gets quickly worn down by Toxic; other walls like Clefairy, Wishiwashi, and Qwilfish can absorb status and take attacks that Uxie can't afford to take. Clefairy also has Aromatherapy to cure Uxie of any status. Pokemon able to pressure hazard removers like Coalossal, Articuno, and Altaria such as Poliwrath, Alolan Sandslash, and Jynx, help keeping up Uxie's Stealth Rock.

The given spread allows Uxie to outspeed Adamant Alolan Sandslash and bulky Cramorant (the cram speed tier is pretty arbitrary and we shouldn't promote random creep; 230 Speed suffices).

Uxie's great Speed and amazing bulk lets it act as a great support for offensive teams, being able to setup Stealth Rock and then cripple the opposing Pokemon with a status move in Memento, Encore, or Yawn, giving switching and setup opportunities to teammates. Thanks to its great bulk and Speed, Uxie is capable of reliably setting sun and Stealth Rock several times throughout the game, as it outspeeds common Taunt users such as Skuntank, Qwilfish, and Sawk. U-turn allows Uxie to generate momentum by bringing sun attackers safely onto the field. Yawn forces out foes that would attempt to set up on Uxie such as Skuntank and Ninetales, which works well with Uxie's fast U-turn.

Uxie can run a specially defensive spread on its defensive set, worsening its matchup versus physical attackers like Sawk, Rhydon, and Gurdurr, but allowing it to better switch into special attackers such as Ninetales and Manectric. Leftovers are an alternative to Colbur Berry on Uxie's defensive set, providing reliable recovery and improving its longevity. However, this makes Uxie vulnerable to Knock Off, and it appreciates the damage reduction from the common Dark-type moves more that usually save more HP than Leftovers. However, Uxie can get crippling items like Skuntank's Black Sludge or Rotom's Choice Specs, or even become setup fodder for Silvally formes due to their Trick immunity.

===================

However, they most take heavy damage from U-turn, and thanks to its Colbur Berry, Uxie can afford to take a hit.(Skuntank doesn't care about U-turn that much)

Most of them can also beat Uxie in a setup war.

Uxie can act as a terrifying late-game cleaner with its Nasty Plot set. Substitute lets it avoid status such as Toxic from Articuno and Altaria and dodge item removal from Tangela and Clefairy, while also being able to sponge weak hits from weak attackers like Eldegoss, Clefairy lacking Seismic Toss, and Stunfisk. Psyshock is preferred over Psychic as a STAB move to get around special walls like Articuno and Clefairy more easily. Draining Kiss lets Uxie break through Dark-types like Thievul and Morpeko after a boost, while providing coveted recovery, as it is Uxie's sole form of recovery outside of Leftovers.

Uxie is a great late-game cleaner for bulkier teams that can weaken its checks over time. Therefore, entry hazard support, especially Spikes from setters such as Alolan Sandslash and Qwilfish are very valuable to rack up damage. Knock Off support is valuable for the same reason valuable, as it makes hazards more effective by removing Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, the latter being the only form of recovery of Steel-types like Klinklang and Alolan Sandslash than can check Uxie. Toxic users such as Altaria, Alolan Sandslash, and Rapidash are able to cripple the likes of Haze Articuno, Alcremie, and Musharna can help Uxie break through them. Eventually, Uxie can also fit well with other defensive sweepers like Cofagrigus and Alcremie, weakening each other other’s checks and can force out Trick so the other sweeper can setup safely.

However, most take heavy damage from U-turn, and thanks to its Colbur Berry, (comma) Uxie can afford to take a hit.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Defensive sweepers such as Alcremie, Cofagrigus, and Spiritomb aren't harmed much by Uxie and can easily set up against it easily set up on the weak Uxie. This also includes Substitute users such as Frosmoth, since Uxie cannot usually break their Substitute. Most of them can also beat Uxie in a setup war.

**Wallbreakers and Stallbreakers**: Wallbreakers such as Thwackey and Basculin can prey on use Uxie's passivity to threaten its whole team with their powerful moves. However, they dislike getting crippled by Knock Off, as it removes their valuable Choice Band and Choice Specs losing Choice Band or Choice Specs to Knock Off. Faster Taunt users such as Alolan Persian can shut down Uxie's utility and take advantage of it with Toxic, respectively.

**Steel-types**: Setup Uxie sets have a very hard time breaking through Steel-types such as Perrserker and Klinklang due to its low damage output and their resistances to Psychic-type moves. They can easily break Uxie's Substitute and remove Uxie before it is boosted enough.

**Haze Articuno and Pyukumuku**: Thanks to Haze and Unaware, respectively, Articuno and Unaware Pyukumuku can ignore Uxie's boosts and Uxie is too weak unboosted to break through them wall most setup Uxie. However, Pyukumuku has to be wary of Stored Power's increased Base Power whose base power's increase isn't ignored by Unaware.
