[OVERVIEW]
Uxie's position in the metagame stems from the viability of Grassy Terrain hyper offense, which allows it to serve as a consistent sweeper with a Grassy Seed. Thanks to Stored Power and Draining Kiss, it can boost past Steel-types like Togedemaru and Aggron and get past Dark-types like Sneasel and Absol, all of which are common Psychic-type checks. Compared to competition like Swoobat and Comfey, it combines the STAB Stored Power and Toxic Spikes immunity of the former, the latter's ability to hit Dark-types super effectively, and its own formidable initial bulk, which surpasses both of theirs. With that and a solid Speed tier, it is difficult to take down, even with common offensive Pokemon like Charizard and Archeops. However, it is solely found on Grassy Terrain teams, as otherwise, it is too vulnerable to having its setup interrupted before it can sweep. It also can't deal with anti-setup options like Taunt and Encore from Pokemon like Jellicent and Sableye, and it must choose between Substitute and Rest in dealing with moves like Toxic, each of which has its own downsides. It lacks immediate power to force foes out, so even with Grassy Seed, it can be overwhelmed before it becomes a threat. Finally, some wallbreakers, such as Vikavolt and Silvally-Ghost, can use super effective STAB moves break past +1 Uxie with little support.

[SET]
name: Grassy Seed Sweeper
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Stored Power
move 3: Draining Kiss
move 4: Rest / Substitute
item: Grassy Seed
ability: Levitate
nature: Timid
evs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Draining Kiss is used to hit Dark-types while gaining HP as a side benefit. Rest is the more chosen fourth move, allowing Uxie to beat Pokemon that rely on Toxic or chipping down setup sweepers to beat it, like Gigalith and Charizard. However, Rest leaves it open for offensive Pokemon like Doublade and Sandslash to take advantage of. Substitute can be used over Rest to still protect Uxie against status, as well as Leech Seed from Ferroseed, while leaving it less passive, but this lowers its limited HP pool. Remember that Uxie cannot viably run Leftovers, as it needs Grassy Seed, and it doesn't recover HP from Grassy Terrain due to Levitate. Thwackey is a mandatory partner for Uxie, as it is the only viable Grassy Terrian setter in the tier. It can also bring Uxie in with U-turn, giving Uxie an easier time to set up. Partners like Thievul and Hitmonlee, which fit well on Grassy Terrain teams, can force out Uxie's switch-ins like Gigalith and Aggron.

Uxie's position in the metagame stems from the viability of Grassy Terrain hyper offense, allowing it to serve as a viable and consistent Grassy Terrain sweeper with a Grassy Seed. Thanks to Stored Power and Draining Kiss, it cannot be (hard)walled by Dark-types like Sneasel and Sableye and is able to boost past Steel-types like Doublade and Aggron, (how does this make the steel matchup better?)all of which are common Psychic-type checks. With high mixed bulk and a solid Speed tier, it is difficult to take down, and common offensive Pokemon like Charizard and Archeops can struggle to get past it. However, it is solely found on Grassy Terrain teams, (why?)making its performance reliant on one specific playstyle. It is also unable to deal with anti-setup options like Taunt and Encore, (from?)and must choose between Substitute and Rest in dealing with moves like Toxic, each of which has its own downsides. Finally, some breakers such as Perrserrker (irrelevant mon, replace)and Silvally-Ghost have the immediate power to break past a +1 Uxie with little support.(mention that it relies heavily on setting up to do any damage cuz of those low offensive stats)(also talk about levitate)

Draining Kiss is used over Dazzling Gleam (i feel like this can be reworded to not mention dgleam, since it kinda sounds like ur suggesting dgleam as an alternative)to let Uxie regain HP, something it cannot do without using Rest, which leaves it passive. (mention that it can be setup bait while asleep)Substitute can be used over Rest to still protect Uxie against status while leaving it less passive, but uses more of its limited HP pool. Thwackey is a mandatory partner for Uxie, as it is the only viable Grassy Terrian setter in the tier. It can also bring Uxie in with U-turn and Taunt annoying Pokemon like Clefairy(irrelevant mon, replace) and Gigalith, giving Uxie an easier time to setup. Partners like Thievul and Hitmonlee can threaten out Uxie's switch-ins like Gigalith and Aggron.(specify that they are also gterrain sweepers)

overall i think there should be mentions of it being usable outside of gterrain (albeit not as reliably) with kee berry being slashed

Thanks to Stored Power and Draining Kiss, it cannot be walled by Dark-types like Sneasel and Sableye (don't like this example bc you later mention that uxie can't deal with taunt/encore and sableye tends to run at least one of those moves.) and is able to boost past Steel-types like Doublade and Aggron thanks to Stored Power's BP increase, all of which are common Psychic-type checks. With high mixed bulk and a solid Speed tier, it is difficult to take down, and common offensive Pokemon like Charizard and Archeops can struggle to get past it. However, it is solely found on Grassy Terrain teams, making its performance reliant on one specific playstyle. It is also unable to deal with anti-setup options like Taunt and Encore from Pokemon like Jellicent and Audino, and must choose between Substitute and Rest in dealing with moves like Toxic, each of which has its own downsides. It lacks immediate power to force things out, which means it can be overwhelmed before it becomes a threat. Finally, some breakers such as Vikavolt and Silvally-Ghost have the immediate power and super-effective STAB to break past a +1 Uxie with little support.

Draining Kiss is used over other Fairy-type moves to let Uxie regain HP, something it cannot do without using Rest, which leaves it passive, while still hitting Dark-types. Substitute can be used over Rest to still protect Uxie against status while leaving it less passive, but uses more of its limited HP pool. (i think it's worth mentioning that sub pairs well with draining kiss, but your point is still correct.) Kee Berry can be used on non-Grassy Terrain teams as a bulky setup sweeper; however, it is much less effective. (why is this the case?) Thwackey is a mandatory partner for Uxie, as it is the only viable Grassy Terrian setter in the tier. It can also bring Uxie in with U-turn and Taunt annoying Pokemon like Clefairy and Gigalith, giving Uxie an easier time to setup. (the point you're making is good, but thwackey should probably hit gigalith if it can instead of just taunting.) Partners like Thievul and Hitmonlee, which fit well on Grassy Terrain teams, can threaten out Uxie's switch-ins like Gigalith and Aggron.

It lacks immediate power to force things out, which means it can be overwhelmed before it becomes a threat. Draining Kiss is used over other Fairy-type moves to let Uxie regain HP, something it cannot do without using Rest, which leaves it passive, while still hitting Dark-types can just say who it hits and mention the health as a side benefit. Substitute can be used over Rest to still protect Uxie against status while leaving it less passive, but uses more of its limited HP pool. mention the differences in what rest/sub beat and how rest is easier to take advantage of. Sub blocking leech from ferro in particular is huge Kee Berry can be used on non-Grassy Terrain teams as a bulky setup sweeper; however, it is much less effective due to relying on being hit to activate its Defense boost, while Grassy Seed sets start with the Defense boost. Thwackey is a mandatory partner for Uxie, as it is the only viable Grassy Terrian setter in the tier. It can also bring Uxie in with U-turn and Taunt annoying Pokemon like Clefairy and Weezing, giving Uxie an easier time to setup does it? i think u can just cut the Taunt portion and say Uturn gets Uxie in on passive pokemon to set up on, clef itself is already rare and same goes for haze/clear smog weezing. Partners like Thievul and Hitmonlee, which fit well on Grassy Terrain teams, can threaten out Uxie's switch-ins like Gigalith and Aggron. it's competing (and usually losing) with comfey and swoobat for a slot on these terrain squads so mention what it does better
