LC Vanillite

[OVERVIEW]
Vanillite has a decent Special Attack stat and ways of boosting its Speed, but its bad defensive typing, shallow movepool, and poor bulk make it very underwhelming. Vullaby, Clamperl, and Shellder are better Speed-boosting sweepers than Vanillite, while Amaura, Alolan Vulpix, and Alolan Sandshrew are better Ice-types. Because a variety of more viable Pokemon directly outclass Vanillite, it should not be considered for serious teams.

[SET]
name: Weak Armor Sweeper
move 1: Ice Beam
move 2: Hidden Power Fighting
move 3: Explosion
move 4: Substitute
item: Icium Z / Life Orb
ability: Weak Armor
nature: Modest
evs: 240 SpA / 244 Spe
ivs: 19 HP / 1 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD / 30 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set attempts to pose a threat against offensive teams by boosting its Speed with Weak Armor and hitting decently hard with a Subzero Slammer or Life Orb-boosted Ice Beam. However, as Vanillite is rather frail and vulnerable to common priority moves, this is hard to accomplish compared to sweeping with Vullaby or Shellder. Similarly, Alolan Vulpix's Aurora Veil support is useful to more teams, while Amaura and Alolan Sandshrew have better power and coverage that make them much better offensively than Vanillite.

Though this was posted without permission, the work is good so I'll let this go to QC. Please don't post before getting a reservation approved or the analysis will be re-assigned and you will be infracted regardless of the quality of the content.

[OVERVIEW]
This is too long for Vanillite. Keep it short and simple - points you want to hit in one sentence or so is that Vanillite has a mediocre Special Attack stat and a way to boost its speed, but has a terrible typing and movepool alongside poor speed and rather low bulk. Then say that there are significantly better options for offensive Pokemon in general and that Vanillite should not be considered for any serious team.

[SET]
Use this set instead.

move 2: Hidden Power Fighting
move 3: Explosion
move 4: Substitute

[SET COMMENTS]
Adjust for the new set. You're going into too much detail and commentary as it is now - avoid using phrases like "This doesn't even seem that bad on paper". Restate here that there are many better options for offensive Pokemon in LC then a specific mention of Amaura or Vulpix-A being much better offensive Ice-types specifically.

You should only have two spaces for QC here and one space for GP since this is a pseudo analysis.

Implement and give yourself 1/2

[SET COMMENTS]
This set attempts to pose a threat against offensive teams by boosting its Speed with Weak Armor and hitting decently hard with a Subzero Slammer or Life Orb-boosted Ice Beam. [Your next two sentences don't fully accomplish what a pseudo should, but if you change this middle one it would.] However, due to its vulnerability to chip damage (especially if it runs Life Orb), Vanillite will typically only get one kill per game at most, and that's if you're lucky. [Remove.] However, as Vanillite is rather frail and vulnerable to common priority moves, this is hard to accomplish compared to sweeping with Vullaby or Shellder. [I know I wrote this fix for you, but I thought this example was easy to learn from: compare it again, reiterate all its downsides quickly, and make sure the reader knows the Pokemon is bad. Full stop.] Similarly, Vulpix-Alola's Aurora Veil support is useful to more teams, while Amaura and Sandslash-Alola have better power and coverage that make them much better offensively than Vanillite.
