Although Vanilluxe has been dropping off as of late due to the influx of Steel-types like Bronzong and Registeel gaining traction in RarelyUsed, it can still put in a lot of work with a good matchup. For example, if the opposing team is using a Steel-type like Mega Steelix, Doublade, or Escavalier instead of Bronzong or Registeel as their Ice-resistant Pokemon, Vanilluxe can freely spam Blizzard and potentially get multiple KOs in a single game. Vanilluxe has great support options that give it potential to support its teammates outside of just using Blizzard at every opportunity. For example, Ice Shard lets it revenge kill Pokemon like Flygon and Zygarde-10%, and Taunt lets it mitigate its weakness to some of the aforementioned Steel-types by preventing them from fulfilling their roles.
