Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Heal Bell

Status: Check

Not the most viable set of all the Clefable sets, but still decent. Unaware Clefable can freely set up with Calm Mind, doesn't mind Earthquake, ignores the boosts from Curse, and can freely heal off burns with Heal Bell. However, Clefable takes a while to get the power it needs to guarantee a 2HKO, hence why it's only a check.

Gastrodon vs. Clefable
0 Atk Gastrodon Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 82-97 (20.8 - 24.6%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Gastrodon Scald vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Clefable: 87-103 (22.1 - 26.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

Clefable vs. Gastrodon
+3 0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 200 HP / 56+ SpD Gastrodon: 246-289 (59.5 - 69.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Alakazam-Mega (M) @ Alakazite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

Encore provides great utility by locking Gastrodon into Recover/Curse.

252 SpA Mega Alakazam Psychic vs. 200 HP / 56 SpD Gastrodon: 204-240 (49.3 - 58.1%) -- 62.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Taunt
- Soft-Boiled
- Will-O-Wisp
- Knock Off

Mew is able to freely switch in to any of Gastrodon's attacks, Taunt it, and slowly widdle it down with Knock Off while recovering any lost HP with Soft-Boiled. It can get rid its Leftovers to prevent healing and burn with Will-O-Wisp it so that its Earthquakes do little damage. Scald burns really suck for Mew, but in the end Mew still comes out on top.

+1 0 Atk Gastrodon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 138-163 (34.1 - 40.3%) -- 42% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 0 Atk burned Gastrodon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 69-81 (17 - 20%) -- possible 7HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 Atk burned Gastrodon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 46-54 (11.3 - 13.3%) -- possibly the worst move ever

0 SpA Gastrodon Scald vs. 252 HP / 224+ SpD Mew: 60-72 (14.8 - 17.8%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Tail Glow
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball

As a great counter.
Alright, let's start.. burn isn't a problem in this case, like we all know it's a special attacker so it won't be affected if Manaphy gets a burn by Scald. We can easily hit Gastrodon using energy ball obtaining a big possibility of OHKO
[ If you are an unlucky player like me, you will obtain the min damage=( ]

252+ SpA Manaphy Energy Ball vs. 200 HP / 56+ SpD Gastrodon: 360-428 (87.1 - 103.6%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive / Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Earthquake / Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Fire / Focus Blast

It doesn't really like being burned, but Mega Sceptile can switch in on any of Gastrodon's attacks and OHKO with Leaf Storm. It can't switch into a +4 Earthquake, but Sceptile is faster, so it can avoid the 2HKO.

Offensive:
252 SpA Mega Sceptile Leaf Storm vs. 200 HP / 56+ SpD Gastrodon: 924-1092 (223.7 - 264.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Thundurus takes Scald and is immune to Earthquake. Grass Knot fails to OHKO largely due to only being 60 BP, but it still does heavy damage.

0 SpA Gastrodon Scald vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Thundurus: 109-129 (36.4 - 43.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off

Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast

- Sludge Bomb / Super Fang

Thanks to the resistance to both Knock Off and Foul Play and being immune to Will-O-Wisp, Houndoom is free to switch in to Sableye multiple times, even with Stealth Rock up. From there it can either 2HKO after any prior damage with Fire Blast or set up a Nasty Plot. It can also get a Flash Fire boost from Will-O-Wisp before Mega Evolution.

0 Atk Mega Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Houndoom: 39-47 (13.4 - 16.1%) -- possible 7HKO

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpA / 16 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Baton Pass

Specs Sylveon can be a pain to predict for defensive mons like Sableye, Amoonguss, Quagsire, and Skarmory, so playing around Knock Off is crucial to how effective Sylveon is against Sableye and its team. Baton Pass keeps up momentum against stuff such as Heatran and Chansey, preferred over Shadow Ball since Jirachi is the only thing SB hits.

Calcs:

Hyper Voice always kills
Foul Play does max 14%, Knock Off 13%

Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 76 Def / 4 SpD / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot

Togekiss laughs at anything Mega Sableye does and can set up Nasty Plots freely to threaten the defensive nature of Mega Sableye's team. Heal Bell allows Togekiss to cure any status inflicted, improving its match-up against Stall while Thunder Wave gives it utility against Offense. Fire Blast is for luring Steels.

0 Atk Mega Sableye Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 76 Def Togekiss: 44-52 (11.7 - 13.9%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Talonflame as a Counter

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Acrobatics
- Roost
- Bulk Up
- Will-O-Wisp / Taunt

Being a Fire-type mon and having no item at all, SpDef Talonflame can't get burned and doesn't care much about Knock Off. Moreover, since Bulk Up boosts both its Atk and Def stats, it'll always receive the same amount of damage from Foul Play (31.7 - 37.6%) unless of a crit. It also has access to reliable recovery in Roost to gain its health back as it boosts in M-Sab's face. To put it simply, M-Sab is a complete setup fodder against SpDef Talonflame and there's pretty much nothing it can do against our little Smogon Burd.
0 Atk Mega Sableye Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 82-97 (22.8 - 27%) -- 41.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
0 Atk Mega Sableye Foul Play vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 114-135 (31.7 - 37.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

+2 0 Atk Talonflame Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 112 Def Mega Sableye: 150-177 (49.3 - 58.2%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO (guaranteed 2HKO after SR)

Clefable takes little to no damage from Knock Off or Foul Play, and, because of Magic Guard, actually benefits from being burned. This allows it to safely set up, then OHKO Mega Sableye with +2 Moonblast.

Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Roost

We all know the beast that Zard-Y is. Thanks to its fire typing and being a mega it can come in on any attack and doesn't take much damage. The most Mega Sableye can do is Foul Play, but this doesn't kill after Rocks. After that, the Zard-Y user can just Roost or kill the Mega-Sableye with some prior damage.

Those are the benefits, there are some down sights however. Since Mega Sableye is mostly seen on Stall, most of the time there will be Stealth Rocks up and the opponent has probably a Chansey. This gives the Zard-Y user a problem, because he always has to Roost against Mega Sableye because of Stealth Rocks and never actually gets to double at the Chansey switch as long as Stealth Rocks are up. If Stealth Rocks aren't up, it's a great way of checking it though!

252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 144+ SpD Mega Sableye in Sun: 225-265 (74 - 87.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
