[OVERVIEW]
Despite being one of only three Little Cup Pokemon to be able to reach the coveted 20 Speed benchmark, Voltorb’s pathetic stats bar its Speed, as well as its abysmal movepool, leave it no choice but to take on a utility role of setting Light Screen and Reflect. Because Voltorb has to hold an item other than Eviolite to most effectively set dual screens, its bulk is lacking, allowing it to be severely chipped away at by priority users such as Pawniard and Timburr and common Choice Scarf users such as such as Mienfoo and Magnemite and OHKOed by a majority of strong neutral STAB attacks. Light Screen and Reflect are also not particularly noteworthy as a team strategy, as Memento users such as Cottonee and Aurora Veil users such as Alolan Vulpix perform this role more consistently, leaving Voltorb virtually outclassed in every role it can perform.

[SET]
name: Dual Screens
move 1: Reflect
move 2: Light Screen
move 3: Volt Switch / Explosion
move 4: Taunt / Volt Switch
item: Light Clay
ability: Static
nature: Timid / Jolly
evs: 196 HP / 36 Def / 76 SpD / 196 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
One should either lead off with Voltorb or bring it in after a teammate has fainted, since Voltorb really doesn't want to switch into an attack. From there, Voltorb can set up both screens and then either use Explosion or Volt Switch to bring in a healthy setup sweeper such as Shellder. However, Alolan Vulpix and Cottonee are more easily able to open windows of opportunity for their teammates, as their methods of supporting a setup sweeper take only one turn compared to Voltorb taking two.

[OVERVIEW]
The end of the first sentence doesn't make sense, I think something got killed by the commas. The second sentence feels kind of long but there's nothing explicitly wrong with it. This is pretty much fine by me.

[SET]
Explosion is piss weak and the only reason to keep it is for Diglett, slash Volt Switch first. Definitely go with Static over Aftermath, would suggest removing Aftermath entirely since the paralysis chance is far more useful than 25% damage.

[SET COMMENTS]
Leech Seed Cottonee is a low ladder meme. Vulpix-A very rarely runs Hypnosis, instead focus on the fact that it (as well as Cottonee) can set up their support in a single turn.

You've got too many spaces for QC and GP, you only need 2 and 1 respectively for a pseudo.

Implement this and give yourself 1/2

[OVERVIEW]
  • Use Timburr as an example over Croagunk, its much more relevant right now
  • Instead of "way better" at the end, say "more consistently" - technically the end result is the same if it works so this language is better
  • Id add a clause at the end of the last sentence emphasizing that Voltorb is virtually always outclassed
