CAP Co-Leader
[OVERVIEW]
While Voodoom has access to Nasty Plot and sits in a respectable Speed tier, it faces many problems in the metagame. Voodoom needs a boost to hit anything appreciable, still doesn't hit especially hard after a boost, and doesn't have the bulk to set up multiple boosts, so it's hard to really get much damage off with it. Voodoom's STAB attacks also cannot break past setup deterrents like Arghonaut, Tomohawk, and Toxapex, meaning that sometimes it cannot even set up safely. Additionally, its abilities aren't particularly useful, as most Electric-types have some way to break through its average bulk. Thus, Voodoom is pretty much outclassed by every basically any relevant special attacker in the metagame. Not only do they have a better Special Attack stat, but they also provide their teams with better utility. For example, Tapu Lele provides Terrain control and has better STAB attacks, Ash-Greninja has access to Spikes and exerts more pressure with Battle Bond, Hoopa-U simply breaks defensive cores more easily, and Mega Alakazam has much more speed and access to Recover. Quiver Dance Aurumoth, Quiver Dance Volcarona, and Shift Gear Magearna are better special sweepers than Voodoom, as they can break open at least some of the aforementioned setup deterrents. Thus, Voodoom has no niche in the metagame.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
After a Nasty Plot boost, Flash Cannon OHKOes Jumbao and Clefable. Thunderbolt and Psychic are alternative options that can break open Arghonaut, Toxapex, and Tomohawk, but then Voodoom is walled by Fairy-types.
Set Details
========
Life Orb is used to boost Voodoom's paltry offense to an acceptable level. While it could run a Z-Crystal, it's not worth using it on Voodoom over a teammate that can make better use of it.
Usage Tips
========
The best Voodoom can do is try to switch in early- to mid-game and try to wear down the opposing team. Switching into Choice Specs Tapu Koko's Volt Switch, Caribolt's Return, or Krilowatt's Thunderbolt allows Voodoom to get into play for free. If Voodoom can't safely set up a Nasty Plot and fire off an attack, it's better off double switching out, as using Nasty Plot will waste a turn. If the opponent's switch-in is bulky Jumbao or Clefable, set up to +2 and use Flash Cannon to lure and remove them.
Team Options
========
Dual screens Tapu Koko lets Voodoom set up more easily. Other setup sweepers like Aurumoth, Naviathan, Caribolt, and Hawlucha fit alongside Voodoom on this archetype. Stealth Rock setters like Focus Sash Landorus-T and Flyinium Z Tomohawk can help Voodoom break through opposing Pokemon more easily. Spikes setters such as Ash-Greninja, Ferrothorn, and Arghonaut can also help Voodoom achieve KOs. Voodoom can also make use of Sticky Web support from Ribombee, as many revenge killers like Choice Scarf Volkraken, Tapu Koko, and Ash-Greninja fail to outspeed it after the Speed drop. However, Voodoom allows Tornadus-T to switch in and use Defog freely, as even Thunderbolt doesn't OHKO Tornadus-T.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Because the listed set is barely viable as is, Voodoom has no other options.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Faster Pokemon**: Pokemon that can outspeed Voodoom are the easiest way to get rid of it. Tornadus-T, Choice Band Syclant, Greninja, Mega Crucibelle, Mega Alakazam, Choice Scarf Jumbao, and Choice Scarf Volkraken are some examples of Pokemon that can OHKO it or neuter Voodom's attempt at accomplishing anything.
**Setup Deterrents**: Unaware Arghonaut and Haze Tomohawk and Toxapex discourage Voodoom from setting up at all, and they wall it even if it tries to set up, meaning Voodoom is a complete liability until these Pokemon are removed.
**Fairy-types**: Although Voodoom has access to Flash Cannon, most Fairy-types like Clefable, Tapu Lele, Jumbao, and Tapu Bulu can tank an unboosted Flash Cannon and OHKO it back.
**Bulky Pokemon**: Other bulkier Pokemon like Celesteela, Magearna, and Revenankh can tank Voodoom's moves and KO it.
