Due to overall community feeling towards x8 CG OU being still largely positive for 2023, and no concrete community agreement on any alternative, the TD team has decided to confirm x8 SV OU slots for World Cup of Pokémon 2023 after internal discussions.

The format will be up for discussion again in future years.
