Hello! As you can see, the VGC subforum now has three distinct subforums, Tournaments, Team Reports, and Past Format Discussion, in addition to the main forum that previously housed everything. Just so everyone's on the same page, here's a brief rundown of what goes where.
Team Reports
It's real simple! If you want to post a report on your team and show off how you used it to find tournament success, this is the forum for you! The moderation team will select team reports to be "featured" from time to time, which means they can be pinned in the subforum. Nothing besides Team Reports should go in this forum
Tournaments
All Smogon VGC community tournaments, both ongoing and completed, will be kept in this forum. We're probably not too far out from some semblance of an official circuit returning, so it's better that our tournaments have their own space in order to avoid confusion.
Past Format Discussion
You may have noticed that as of right now, Past Format Discussion is pretty much a massive archive of old event listings and war stories. It's important that these be preserved (and not necrobumped), so they'll be staying locked. The discussion threads will be launching over the next few days, and the forum should be good to go within the week!
So that leaves the
VGC Main forum which will still be used to house discussion, resources, and projects on the ongoing format. When the official circuit returns, we'll also focus heavily on irl event coverage and advertisement, so you can look forward to that!
