[SET COMMENTS]

This set uses a tweaked EV spread in order to check a variety of attackers, both special and physical. This particular set is notoriously effective for checking the versatile Venusaur, from Swords Dance to special-based variants. Thanks to the given EV spread, Weezing takes no more than 43.7% from Venusaur's Life Orb Leaf Storm. Power Whip does even less, and Weezing can further reduce its damage output by burning Venusaur with Will-O-Wisp.
With immunity to Spikes and neutrality to Stealth Rock, Weezing can switch in and out without taking any major residual damage, which really helps him in taking Venusaur's assaults. Weezing can fend off other Grass-types, including Sceptile, in the same manner as he does Venusaur.

Even with the touched up EV spread, Weezing is no slouch physically.
He has a sufficient amount of physical bulk to keep threats such as Torterra, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, and Donphan at bay. Will-O-Wisp also somewhat balances this loss of physical bulk; it can burn overzealous physical attackers attempting to exploit Weezing's weaker physical Defense. Sludge Bomb is Weezing's main attacking option, as it has STAB and hits many Pokemon for solid, neutral damage. It also has decent synergy with Will-O-Wisp; Steel-types, immune to Sludge Bomb, will find themselves fainting from Will-O-Wisp in a matter of turns if they lack a recovery move. Rest and Sleep Talk ensure that Weezing is not helpless while he is asleep, ultimately preventing him from being soundly beaten by Sleep Powder Venusaur.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EV spread is easily customizable to your personal preference. The current spread allows you to beat 88 Speed Azumarill and Donphan. You can go for 180 Speed EVs if you wish to inflict a burn on unsuspecting Aggron, but it will take away the overall effectiveness of switching into special attacks.

Flash Fire users such as Arcanine, Houndoom, and Ninetales are the bane of this set. They can comfortably switch into Will-O-Wisp and threaten Weezing with their deadly STAB move. Milotic can patch up this issue, as her
resistance to Fire, excellent defenses, and a strong, STAB Surf allow her to deal with the aforementioned threats. This two-man core is highly capable of dealing with many combinations of offensive threats, such as Venusaur (or Torterra) and Arcanine; however, Pokemon such as Mismagius and Alakazam can shred this core into pieces when played correctly. Using either Registeel or Spiritomb can resolve these issues nicely. Registeel adds Stealth Rock to the mix, hampering Fire-types switching into Weezing, whereas Spiritomb, on the other hand, adds a valuable Psychic immunity, along with the ability to place Mismagius and Alakazam in a checkmate position with the threat of using either Pursuit and Shadow Sneak.

yeah

the only thing is that I don't like the 16 speed evs. azumarills on site spread is 16 speed and it kind of seems like a dumb race if we're just gonna change on-site spreads to beat other specific spreads especially if those other spreads arent on site. i know quite a few people use 88 speed azu but id prefer to draw a line at "beating max or min speed pokemon or specific benchmarks" for spreads. i mean if you put 16 speed weezing on site then everyones gonna use 108 speed azumarill and then 16 speed is stupid then we have to scms it to 32 speed weezing and then lkas;jdfas;dll;ds;h MAX SPEED JOLLY TAUNT SKARM FUCK. however you should definitely mention adding some speed to potentially beat stuff that invests in speed (azu, rhyperior, maybe aggron but prolly not aggron cause its usually max speed) in additional comments.

i dont feel too strongly about the evs but it just seemed a bit silly.

KOFFING!
stamp3.png

Yeah this is probably the best way to deal with Venusaur, and I'm glad you mentioned Milotic as a partner. Also mention Spiritomb (you kinda do but only in the context of missy) since Weezing/Milotic/Spiritomb is by far the most annoying stall core I have ever faced.

Probably my favorite set of this round, so if I had a Koffing be sure it'd be booming here. The only add I think could be done is Flamethrower being slashed with Sludge Bomb if you're interested on checking things like Toxicroack, Tauntless Drapion, actually being able to hit Steel-types outside of WoW, hitting Venusaur harder (IIRC, Special LO Saur has the option of eventually beating you through Synthesis, Sleep Powder and an well-timed Leaf Storm). Of course, I still find Sludge Bomb a much better choice, as you can actually do something to Fire-types switching in and it's a fairly strong STAB, but I thought that was worth mentioning.

Quick grammar check since I want to try this out and see if I'm any good at it. Blue for insertions/changes, red for deletions, bold for comments.

[SET COMMENTS]

This set uses a tweaked EV spread in order to check a variety of attackers from both the special and physical spectrums. (Needs an object of a preposition) This particular set is notoriously effective for checking the versatile Venusaur, as it can effortlessly counter (It does counter these sets, not check.) both the Swords Dance and Special sets. With immunity to Spikes and neutrality to Stealth Rock, (shorter phrase) Weezing can switch in and out numerous times without taking any major residual damage, thus making him one of the best Venusaur checks in the metagame. Thanks to the given EV spread, Weezing takes no more than 43.7% from a Life Orb boosted Leaf Storm from Venusaur. Additionally, Weezing can fend off Sceptile in the same manner as Venusaur. (Somewhat repetitive)

Even with the touched up EV spread, Weezing is no slouch physical defensively as it has a sufficient amount ofphysical bulk to keep threats (repetitive) such as Torterra, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, and Donphan at bay. Will-O-Wisp balances this loss of physical bulk somewhat as it can easily distribute burn on overzealous physical attackers attempting to exploit its weaker Defense stat. Sludge Bomb is the main attacking option of this set as it hits many things for solid damage. Steel-types who lack a reliable recovery move will find themselves fainting from Will-O-Wisp in a matter of turns. Rest and Sleep Talk ensure that Weezing is firing hits while he is asleep, including that induced by Sleep Powder Venusaur. (Old phrasing was somewhat repetitive and confusing)

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EV spread is easily customizable to your personal preference. The current spread allows you to beat 88 Speed Azumarill and Donphan aiming to beat minimal Speed Weezing. You can go for 180 Speed EVs if you wish the inflict burn on unsuspecting Aggron, but it will take away Weezing's overall ability to switch into special attacks. (not sure "effectiveness" fits here)

Flash Fire users such as Arcanine, Houndoom, and Ninetales will be troublesome for this set. They can comfortably switch into Will-O-Wisp and threaten Weezing with their deadly STAB moves. Milotic can patch up this issue as she can deal with the aforementioned threats soundly. This two-man core is highly capable of dealing with a combination of offensive threats like Venusaur (I'd try and stay away from slashes) and Arcanine. Even so, Mismagius or Alakazam can shred this core into pieces when played correctly. Using either Registeel or Spiritomb can round off the core nicely as they can check the aforementioned Pokemon. Registeel adds Stealth Rock to the mix, essentially hampering Fire-types from switching into Weezing. Spiritomb on the other hand adds a valuable Psychic immunity along with the ability to place Mismagius and Alakazam in a checkmate position with either Pursuit or Shadow Sneak.

I was probably too picky, but hopefully it helped some!

Great, only a few things, and some of them were even with word choice, so, good job. Then again, it's late...

Yes, no spectrums please. If you think about it, it really does not make sense and looks kinda bad.

Cleaning up after the GP folks. Also, I dunno if this is important, but your labels in your [SET] section (i.e. move 1: -- evs:) are all capatalized. I'm not sure if this screws up the SCMS or anything, so I'm going to decapitalize them just to be safe.
