here's an epic team based around gourgeist's wack move trick or treat + dark spam. definitely isn't perfect but this is a fun meme if ur a loser playin showdown on halloween like the rest of us lol. if u weren't aware of the spooky effect of trick or treat, it grants ghost typing to the opposing mon. now how would this b useful? long story short ttar pursuit. when paired w ghost and dark spam it can lead to really funny ohkos on fat mons who aren't expecting it.

great pumpkin (Gourgeist-Super) (F) @ Figy Berry
Ability: Frisk
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Trick-or-Treat
- Destiny Bond
- Rock Slide
- Seed Bomb

here we have the star of the show. gourgeist is a pretty cool mon, with not so horrible defensive typing (ok its pretty bad lol) and a p decent movepool. trick or treat is le epic gimmick of the team, and can lead to catastrophic damage if you pivot into one of the million dark/ghost types on this team. just use the move, switch into ttar or gren, and profit. rock slide is an epic sniping tool; kills all volcs without obesity investment (and is out here doin 91.1 - 108.3% to fat ones), and ohkos switch in non-mega zards too. seed bomb hits ok on stuff like fini that the ghost/dark spammers tend to struggle with. destiny bond can help set up trick or treat. gourgeist is a fat mf and will live a hit, then u can click trick or treat on a switch in and nab one w ttar/gren. overall, u wanna try to keep this chunky girl alive (figy helps), trick or treat, then dip tf outta there.

thriller (Tyranitar) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 144 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Superpower

this man. adamant max attack banded pursuit on a ghost type slaughters like everything lol. j bring this boy in after setting up trick-or-treat w geist, and then click and profit. hoes literally always switch out. crunch is if its a fat mon who ur expecting to stay in for even more power, and edge deals w lando. superpower is prob interchangeable w quake, but i like being able to kill ferro quick lol. this thing pretty fat in sand, and it can usually tank a couple hits if u pivot to it after being in w geist. overall focusing on keeping this guy healthy is good (so u can pursuit as much as possible), and he's your main answer to other weather.

monster mash (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- U-turn
- Defog
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earthquake

the super basic scarf lando. he's really helpful here tho, hp ice a good answer for opposing landos. this is one of the only speed controls on this team (like the other guys r fast but not that fast lol), and also provides a much needed elec + ground immunity. u-turn is for pivoting into geist to start getting off those juicy trick-or-treats, and defog keeps away annoying hazards (which this team has none of by the way, oops. you could probably substitute this for rocks if u want them, but hazard make me angy so. defog instead.) eq for tran and damage lol. so ya lando is best used as a kinda fat pivot, and he helps alot w the fighting types this team's sweepers struggle w a little bit.

ghostbusters (Mimikyu) (F) @ Mimikium Z
Ability: Disguise
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Shadow Sneak

dragon type counter time. substitute mon check time. snuggle5ever does a surprising amount of damage, and after sd it hits pretty hard lol. pretty standard mimi, keeping disguise in check for late game so you can deal with the ever so common surprise substitute is useful. claw for STAB. sneak for priority kills on chipped stuff. sd for investment. play rough for profit. u guys know the drill lol.

witch doctor (Greninja-Ash) @ Life Orb
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Water Shuriken
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam

eww life orb gren? being able to switch moves but actually kill stuff is worth the hp loss lol. this is another buddy you can switch into after hitting up a trick or treat, but he's def not as thick as ttar so use caution. there's also no real way to punish switching like w pursuit from ttar, which is why life orb comes in handy. theres no true switch in to a gren that can change moves except like, pex. moves are the standard schmandard, its pretty hard to go wrong with it lol. dark pulse gets the pop on anyone who wants to stay in on a trick or treat. ice beam helps with grass types switchin in (tang, bulu) bc they think ur scarf. just don't treat him like he can take a hit and he can clean upppp late game.

this is halloween (Celesteela) @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Heavy Slam
- Flamethrower
this bad boy is the best answer for the 4x fire weaks and moonblast spammers who would otherwise stomp all over this team, just like the stay puft marshmallow man stomped over nyc. flamethrower is a necessary evil, bc fat stuff like sciz or skarm kinda eats the rest of this team if you dont have ash gren and have him healthy. heavy slam helps punish tapus, and leech + a pivot can help keep stuff healthy if you switch. maybe. overall, just a good special tank + a good counter for fairies.

View attachment 203465 fightingView attachment 203464 - mimi and geist usually help, but lucha especially slaughters after popping unburden if you dont have disguise anymore. u j gotta play smart and go ghost/ protect w celes on the fight moves, and sac and revenge kill w mimi lol.

View attachment 203466 rain View attachment 203468 - if ttar dies it gets real annoying, i usually rely on small brain gren and pray.

View attachment 203469stall View attachment 203470 - fat stuff is just annoying to deal with bro. this team has no sub and no taunt, so you'll prob be relying on just playing god mode while geist and ttar r still healthy.

smart people - once they figure out the gimmick they j switch like crazy lol. u can usually get like one free kill w trick-or-treat, but then ur outta luck. try to capitalize off this and switch into a monster to counter.

overall this team isn't too stable, but the satisfaction of pursuit killing everything in the tier makes up for it. happy halloween lads :). am open for suggestions if you have a genius idea on how to boss up this squad lol. and remember, don't get caught alone (no no)

I've never Tried the team, but the trick or treat and the pursuit is a really cool and interesting tech. Nice team :]

Ayee I’m for sure going to run this even though Halloween is over, it’s never a wrong time to be in spirit. Very clever!
