Gen 1 Wigglytuff (UU Mini Analysis Revamp) [QC 2/2] [GP 1/1] [DONE]

This is part of a project to get rid of the poor quality, misinformation-ridden RBY analyses from over a decade ago. These works are low-priority and should be treated as such.

[OVERVIEW]

Wigglytuff is completely outclassed by Clefable in RBY UU—which isn't great in the tier to begin with—having all stats equal to or worse than Clefable's except HP. They even get exactly the same moves, only Wigglytuff lacks Metronome, Growl, and Light Screen. The only things Wigglytuff can do better than Clefable are completely centered on its HP: it can use Counter more effectively and is 5HKOed by Seismic Toss. Overall, Wigglytuff should not be used on any competitive RBY UU team.

[SET COMMENTS]

Sing and Thunder Wave together allow Wigglytuff to effectively support its teammates, with the latter also helping make up for its horrible Speed stat. Body Slam is a very reliable STAB option that comes with the bonus of spreading paralysis, but Mega Kick can potentially allow Wigglytuff to 3HKO Tentacruel and Hypno. Counter is Wigglytuff's claim to fame over Clefable, allowing it to pick up surprise KOs on Normal-type attackers like Kangaskhan, Persian, and Dodrio.
