true, but this is the most reasonable lead we have on somebody who i dont think has shown obvious signs of town. who else would you vote instead?
I can work on a readlist, not now because I need to leave either way but in a few hours

i don't see a reason to unless your result will give us important information because who you target indicates what type of role you have

Psy isn’t outright lying about anything, Tommy put us both in a hood and he reacted very strongly to it allegedly based on his own role. However, I don’t feel that this is the smoking gun he thinks it is, and there can be any number of explanations for that interaction. Fundamentally it makes perfect sense for a bus driver to have *some* extra counterplay in this setup given the lack of simple roles and the community’s historical dislike for bus drivers, and I think his spiraling doomerism is doing more to throw the game than anything else because now our two carry players are diametrically opposed to each other which is an embarrassing level of self-sabotage if they’re both town. He did not need to claim, he did not need to reveal the hood immediately after Tommy and I left the thread for the evening, and the fact that he’s willing to be so cavalier with info control to get this lynch on early D2 really pisses me off.

2. Why? Given how mentally unstable Psy has appeared in the thread it’s perfectly reasonable for someone to come in and doubt what he’s saying or the conclusions he’s drawing from it, especially when the other parties involved are conveniently absent at that particular time. I don’t agree with it but it’s not unreasonable from a town POV
4. People don’t just massclaim their info roles as soon as they get their first result my dude, the info itself has to actually be worth the trouble. But I’ll be charitable and link that very suspicious part of the post to your newness in this community.
Also, why are you still lumping Bliz and Shypebble in with bluedoom and liquid? Their levels of contribution to the game have become much more different recently since the former two really started showed up.

I dont know how the role interaction works but thats actually a good point
I'll start off by saying that going into N1, I hella townread psy. So much so that I used my night action on him. This is because my night action makes it so that the target's action cannot be redirected. It still can be blocked or failed, but can't be redirected. I felt good enough about psy after D1 that I wanted his role (whatever it may be) to go undirected, so I targeted him.
The result is that my target was successful. However, I got the "success" message twice. I think this means that someone targeted me, and whoever targeted me has some kind of role that makes things happen twice. Which doesn't make toooo much sense to me how that would interact with some other possible roles, but it's what happened.
D2 I did almost a complete flip on psy lol. I did not like the immediate doomering like "oh this game is unwinnable" and I did not like the initial tunneling on Tommy, because when asked the response was essentially "idk." It was only later that the neighbor stuff was revealed that there seemed to be any kind of reasoning, of which the reasoning was "Tommy must be lying based off my role." A role that psy hasn't claimed (unless I missed it, there were 13 pages to catch up on ffs), so there's still some room for him to be lying IMO. Between the initial doomering and this tunnel on Tommy, I lean scum on psy as of now. The only reason I don't hardscum lean on psy is because I don't think we've heard from Tommy yet (and I just saw flanders posted while I was typing this so I'll need to go read that lol)
^okay after reading the flanders post, I'm inclined to believe him and Tommy are town in the neighborhood, whereas psy is scum. If psy is town and misreading Tommy that hard then damn, I'll be disappointed but also surprised. But the way I'm reading it I can't see a world where psy and Tommy are on the same side.

With all this going on though, I'd like to not forget about saber. I still think the post at the end of day one where I said "this sucks" still sucks lol, but it got buried underneath all this psy/Tommy business. I scumlean saber.
I also scumlean a fairy, based off previous games I feel like she's been much much more active. And I understand last game she was scum so maybe it makes more sense for her to be town with less activity, but my guess is that she's a more active player in general so to be this inactive is a little weird, which makes me think there's something fishy. Maybe because she got scum two times in a row she's trying to go under the radar this time since last time she got outed? Hmm.
Bliz is also a scumlean for me. I feel like the pop-ins when mentioned have been very convenient, like "oh shit they noticed me I better say something" kind of play. I do appreciate that we kind of feel the same way re: longer posts vs. shorter ones but the interactions/pop-ins haven't been great IMO.

So yeah, as of right now I'm thinking scum team of psy/saber/fairy/Bliz/filler. Those are my heaviest four scum reads, and then the fifth is probably someone we haven't heard too much from. Maybe bluedoom? Maybe des wildcard? (I don't think the latter one is toooo likely but you never know with des). Actually wait, could be genisu too because I didn't like his opportunistic vote on me D1 (yeah yeah OMGUS I know) but he also said he's parked on Tommy right now, which I disagree with for sure. Could be scum trying to save one of their own in Tommy vs. psy.
As for who I'm most keen to call town, based off the above paragraphs you know I side with Tommy in the psy vs. Tommy conflict. I'm also inclined to call flanders town based off his posts in relation to the neighborhood. I think realiti has been one of the most helpful/pro-town players in this game too so I think I'm comfortable calling him town too. I like DBD too, if only because I agree with the vote on psy. Also not a whole lot behind this, but AirC gives me town vibes. Pebble has been good too once they entered the thread. Worried about the 2-for-1 scenario but I feel like this is town trying to help.

Scum: psy, saber, fairy, Bliz

iirc doesnt OP specifically say roles were made first and assigned to alignments second so this isnt actually helpful unfortch

Idk if I'd say Psy is maf, cuz the claim itself abt the VC paints a really big target on their back, especially since Flandrs and Tommy are kind of against them too in the group, like a 2v1, not something I'd see them publically claiming as maf if that makes sense.
