Hello to those who don't know me, I'm sasha/cy, a Monotype main branching out into PU currently, and I think the current meta is really fun and plan to stick to the tier from now to Gen 9

Looking at the builder, I really wanted to build around electric terrain and Jolteon after my bestie jonfilch mentioned that it got work up. This won't be super long or in-depth since I'm just doing this for fun but nonetheless I hope this is a cool team for y'all to look at.

creep (Pincurchin) (M) @ Terrain Extender
Ability: Electric Surge
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rising Voltage
- Memento
- Scald
- Spikes
First, we have our terrain setter which really gets this team going. Paired with Terrain Extender to keep our Terrain up as long as possible. I really like Pincurchin as a terrain setter (not because it's the only one) because it is really versatile. Generally, it can work as a lead because it gets Rising Voltage itself which is fantastic as you aren't passive and threaten a lot of things out. On top of that, it gets Scald which can burn switch-ins like Gigalith and Sandaconda. Spikes and Memento are great support because hazard-stacking is the name of the game I feel in the current PU meta and memento allows you to basically go into any setup sweeper mid-late game and start wrapping the game up as you want to keep Pincurchin alive throughout the game anyway so memento fits this set well.

ketamine (Jolteon) (M) @ Power Herb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Work Up
- Rising Voltage
- Dig
- Volt Switch / Shadow Ball
Next we have Jolteon, the main abuser of terrain. Work Up allows you to get +1 in both Attack and Special Attack which allows Jolteon to break though basically all of the meta while its in terrain minus Sandaconda and Gigalith under sand with no chip. The cool tech on this set is Power Herb + Dig so you lure Togedemaru. +1 Jolteon kills Togedemaru from full and neutral kills Toge with some chip as you can see here :
+1 0 Atk Jolteon Dig vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Togedemaru: 356-420 (106.5 - 125.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 Atk Jolteon Dig vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Togedemaru: 236-280 (70.6 - 83.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
You can swap out Volt Switch for Shadow Ball as a midground to switchins like Lanturn or Toge once you're +1 but I like Volt Switch just to be able to pivot + get chip on things like Gigalith and Aggron and let the rest of the team handle the things Jolteon can't beat.

girl online (Ribombee) (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Shield Dust
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Bug Buzz
- Quiver Dance
- Nature Power
One of the best mons in the meta, it's hard to resist adding Ribombee to this team and most offense teams in general. Ribombee on this team feels really nice as Pincurchin and Jolteon threaten Charizard and lets bee break through the team easier once its gone. However, it also acts as a lure to alleviate the Charizard matchup with Nature Power. Nature Power in eterrain will turn into Thunderbolt and this calc pretty much speaks for itself :
+1 252 SpA Ribombee Nature Power (90 BP Electric) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Charizard in Electric Terrain: 350-414 (117.8 - 139.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO. Nature Power regularly without terrain turns into Tri Attack which in itself is a 90BP move which is nice, and also lets you fish for status if need be.
In general bee is amazing late game once you've broken up the opposing Steel- and Rock-types such as Ferroseed and Gigalith respectively. That goes for basically any team bee is on but on offense that weakness is quite exaggerated which is why I am sounding like a broken record about Gigalith. The rest of the team is also very Scrafty weak which is also another strong reason to add Ribombee onto this team.

darkwave sabbat (Silvally-Water) @ Water Memory
Ability: RKS System
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Multi-Attack
- Flame Charge
- Crunch / U-turn
The one set I'm proud of most is this one probably. I think offensive waters are good right now but the only main abuser I see of being an offensive water in this meta right now is Specs Jellicent. I wanted to use something that would catch people off guard and I thought this set did just that. I would have used Jellicent but I felt some Physical presence was needed and I'm not a huge fan of Poliwrath. Silvally-Water (again) helps the rest of the team with the Rock + Steel type matchups but it also has very strong breaking and cleaning potential on its own with fantastic coverage. This set seems pretty self-explanatory but I personally like crunch for Jelli + Gourgeist but you can also run U-turn for things like Eldegoss and Guzzlord although I don't think Guzzlord will be sticking around in PU for much longer.

paparazzi (Archeops) (M) @ Power Herb
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Beam
- Air Slash
- Earth Power
A set I stole off of gum, Archeops is amazing glue that holds this team together. Between further stacking hazards and a decent Charizard midground, Archeops is incredibly versatile. This set is amazing at breaking opposing teams for your Bee and Silv to sweep but this set can just straight up win games on it's own sometimes. You have to be pretty conservative of when to pop Meteor Beam sometimes depending on the opposing teams threats, but usually you can't really go wrong with clicking it. Air Slash at +1 is strong STAB and Earth Power just helps with things you can't touch with your other moves such as Gigalith, Regirock, and Aggron. In general I think Archeops is quite underrated and should be experimented with more as I really don't see it that often.

father (Doublade) (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 228 HP / 212 Atk / 68 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Rock Slide
- Shadow Sneak
Last but certainly not least, we have a fun drop that PU recently got that I really hope doesn't get banned, Doublade. This spread speedcreeps no speed Guzzlord which allows you to nuke it with +2 Close Combat if the chance arises. The set is a standard setup sweeper and there isn't really much to say about it. Close Combat hits basically the entire tier and Rock Slide catches out Charizard midgrounds which are usually quite easy to predict. Shadow Sneak gives you both priority and STAB in one move which is very useful for revenge killing if something is low enough and also helpful to get last minute chip off if you are slower. The issue with Doublade is that it doesn't really act as a Steel-type defensively, meaning that you should try to conserve HP on this until it is in a position to sweep and not to be fooled by its defensive typing + Eviolite, it is weak defensively.
I didn't really remember to save replays as I didn't plan to write this after I got reqs, but here's my reqs for some credibility that the team is usable :
ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴛʟɪꜱᴛ

I can't think of much else although I'm sure someone could point some holes in this, so let me know!

Don't wanna make this too long but they're fun to do on RMTs
