[OVERVIEW]
Although Woobat has a niche in its unique ability Simple, allowing it to double the boosts from Calm Mind and quickly make Stored Power threatening, it has several gaping flaws; in particular, it has a mediocre typing, lacking bulk, and a weakness to the plethora of viable Dark-types in the tier, such as Pawniard, Vullaby, and Alolan Grimer. Additionally, Woobat's reliance on setting up Calm Mind to pose an offensive threat means it is often outclassed by more consistent Psychic-type sweepers such as Abra.

This set attempts to utilize its slight advantage over Abra, namely the combination of Simple and Calm Mind, to sweep. It can choose to have a better matchup against balance or offense by running either Roost and Eviolite or Substitute and a Salac Berry. However, it is easily prevented from sweeping due to its poor bulk allowing few setup opportunities, its inability to outspeed Choice Scarf users without a Salac Berry boost, and its weakness to Sucker Punch. These factors make Abra a more solid choice than Woobat on most teams.

(I didn't think you need the last part on almost any serious team.f that sentence, leave it in if you want but it seemed redundant.)
