You deserve self-acceptance, self-respect, happiness, and success. You deserve just as much to feel good about those things once they're inner fixtures. Do your best to not let insecurity, doubt, or the petty meanness of another hinder that.

I don't really have any quotes from anyone and I don't care to look it up so here's some things I learned from my pessimistic world view.

Life sucks..... no seriously life sucks but it doesn't have to suck forever. The mistakes you make today turn into lessons tomorrow.

If you hate yourself then truly, everyone in the world hates you.

You'll get concussions along the way but if you keep smacking your head against that wall, it will come down.

There's always someone better than you, so get better and beat them.

That's all I got for now. :P

Edit: I got 1 more.

Tell yourself everyday, "you suck", then tell yourself, "Imma be more awesome today"

Oh boy, this is my kind of thread.

"Get going. Just don't be distracted by the what-ifs, should-haves, and if-onlys. The one thing you choose yourself - that is the truth of your universe." - Kamina

"Unconditional love is something that worldly logic can never explain, is it not?" - Miyoko Tenkawa

"Have I ever apologized for my blindness even once? You can't help the way you are born. There's no point in apologizing for who you are. You are a beautiful person. Please don't apologize for that." - Lilly Satou

"No one can change the past. The only thing we can do is strive to make up for our mistakes. Why must we make up for our mistakes, you ask? Because in so doing... we can find the way back to our path. And once we've found our path, we can move on from our past mistakes toward a brighter future." - Phoenix Wright (surprisingly)

Motivation is bullshit. Motivation doesn’t get anything done. Motivation gets you GOING. Discipline, commitment, strong habits is what gets things done. Motivation is just a feeling. Grounded action is what gets things done.
-Elliot Hulse

Motivation is very ungrounded
