It is time to find our illustrious team captains! If you wish to captain a team for WCOR 2024, you must post in this thread.

Each team is led by two captains, who themselves can (but are not obligated to) count among the total roster of 12 starters and three to five substitutes. Again: captains only count among their team's total roster if they choose to play. Both captains can play.

13 teams are already qualified to participate in WCOR 2024 based on their performance from last year. Any teams not on this list and hoping to participate in WCOR must participate in qualifiers. If you wish to captain a team not on this list, you must send a preliminary roster to Javi and sharpclaw via Smogon PM by the deadline.

The United States will be split into 4 regions, which are US Northeast, US South, US West, and US Midwest. Any other United States teams will not be allowed.

Prior managing experience? If so, please elaborate: Soup Nation and I managed US West last year to the semis. We also managed and won GSC PL together last year. And we're gonna win this year here.
Why would you make a good captain?: It's not about what makes me a "good" captain. It's about what good I can do for all of you as a captain.

Prior managing experience? If so, please elaborate: I have managed just about every random battles team tour by this point at least once, and have led teams to playoffs in all of them. After that, my teams tend to lose in the final game of a playoff tiebreaker to the team that eventually wins. Luckily, Buhrito's SPL experience means he'll be as ready as anyone when this happens.

Prior managing experience? If so, please elaborate: I have managed RBTT three times, never missing playoffs, and WCoR twice.
Altthiel has managed multiple teamtours in the French community, being a hugely important cornerstone for the Mighty Metagross team in French Community League X after our initial manager quit early on. We're both regulars when it comes to playing Randbats at this point and would love to take France to its first WCoR trophy.
Why would you make a good captain?: With huge experience, willingness to do the best we can, and really good knowledge of the French playerbase after 5 years of moderating the community, Altthiel and I are the ideal managing pair for this edition of WCoR.

Prior managing experience? If so, please elaborate: I've managed in tours like TPP, WCOR 2023, NDWC twice, MonoWC, WCoP twice, EPL, RBEL and more tours. Mirbro has managed ZUPL, NFEPL, UMPL and ZUWC, plus has played last WCoR and RBEL.

Why would you make a good captain?: We have a lot of experience and know well the Brazilian community, both of us also have decent experience with random battle tours and have been around on the last 2 iterations of this tour

Why would you make a good captain?: I rule over the Benelux with an iron fist. I find fear to be the most effective motivator and no dissent is tolerated.

Prior managing experience? If so, please elaborate: I've managed RBTT, WCOR and CCC, with good results if i say so. Lily has probably managed even more times than i have (i'm just taking a shot in the dark here, please let it be true!) outside of the rands community.
Why would you make a good captain?: We just would, stop being SO NOSY!

Prior managing experience? If so, please elaborate: Managed LA bsswc and LA ndwc leading the team to finals, this is the first time managing for Mexico
Why would you make a good captain?: Im aware of last year schedule issues on part of the former managers, I have better availability on that aspect and feel confident on my capitan skills to inspire the mexican people, hope this year we beat that horrible record and put on a good performance
