Lampard and Gerrard were the only ones worth anything in England's team this match, all their defenders were terrible and Rooney was MIA. Also, the midfielders never tracked back to help out with defending so there was a huge gap between their lines, which Germany abused.
Shameful non-call by the referees, Lampard's shot was clearly the 2-2. However, I doubt it would have changed the final result, and, really, a team that loses 4-1, playing the way they did, have no right to blame their loss on a bad call...
