[SET COMMENTS]
Yveltal under the effects of Dynamax becomes one of the most potent sweepers in the National Dex AG metagame due to its incredible STAB combo, Its ability to boost its average speed stat to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, and solid bulk allowing it to beat Ditto 1v1. Yveltal is able to 2HKO everything in the meta bar Chansey and Tyranitar (excluding coverage), after Dynamaxing. Dark Pulse is a standard STAB option that drops Special Defense while under the effects of Dynamax, making it able to pick up 2HKOes it may otherwise miss out on. Oblivion Wing allows Yveltal to have a good recovery option and also boost its speed when Dynamaxed. Heat Wave is standard coverage for the omnipresent Zacian, able to OHKO after some chip or while in sun, which Max Flare provides, while also OHKOing Ferrothorn and severely damaging Magearna. Yveltal has a very diverse movepool for its last slot, which allows it to accomplish different roles for a team. Knock Off provides great utility for the rest of the team by removing key defensive items, such as Heavy Duty Boots and Leftovers, while hitting Chansey and Ho-Oh hard on their weaker Defense. Hidden Power Poison allows Yveltal to boost its already potent Special Attack while Dynamaxed to ease the matchup vs stall and break balance easier, while threatening to OHKO Xerneas with a boosted Max Airstream, as unboosted Hidden Power Poison does not kill while Dynamaxed. It should be noted that this makes Ditto capable of revenge killing Yveltal from a higher health range. Hidden Power Rock is a more niche option that OHKOs Ho-oh while using Max Rockfall, but does not provide much more use besides that. Taunt shuts down Chansey and pokemon like Ho-Oh or support Arceus after Yveltal has finished Dynamax who may opt to stay in and Toxic to decrease Yveltal's longevity or Defog. It can also prevent Geomancy on Xerneas. However, Knock Off already accomplishes this on all but Support Arceus forms. Sucker Punch can be useful to revenge boosted threats such as Necrozma Dusk Mane and Ultra Necrozma, but does very little once Yveltal has already Dynamaxed. Focus Blast can be used as the most reliable way of dealing with Tyranitar, however, it offers very little outside of this.
Life Orb is preferred on this set, as it allows Yveltal to threaten to OHKO or severely weaken many more mons, such as Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and Zygarde. A Special Attack boosting nature with max Special Attack and Speed allows the highest damage output while still outpacing Jolly Zacian at plus one. A Rash nature should be used if Yveltal has Knock Off or Sucker Punch to keep their high damage output while taking less damage from priority users and faster physical such as Choice Scarf Mega Rayquaza. Otherwise, a Modest nature is the best option.

Yveltal fits on most Balance and Hyper Offensive due to the support they both provide. Hyper Offense allows Yveltal to get clean up weakened opposing teams, while Balance is able to deal with Yveltal's relatively few checks. Primal Groudon and Necrozma Dusk Mane are both fantastic partners for Yveltal, as both can check Zacian, while additionally Dusk Mane can check Xerneas, two big offensive problems for Yveltal. Zacian is also a good partner, as it is able to deal with both Tyranitar and Chansey, while it also appreciates the pressure Yveltal puts on checks to it, such as Lunala, Necrozma Dusk Mane, and Primal Groudon. Ditto is also an option to consider, as it is able to threaten Zacian C if Yveltal has not been able to Dynamax yet.

Yveltal under the effects of Dynamax becomes one of the most potent sweepers in the National Dex AG metagame due to its incredible STAB combo, Its ability to boost an its at first glance i read this as "boost to an average speed stat" average speed stat to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, and frightening levels of good bulk that allows it to beat Ditto if it's healthy, which is a great trait for a setup sweeper. Heat Wave is standard coverage for the omnipresent Zacian, able to OHKO after some chip or while in sun, which Max Flare provides. Yveltal has a very diverse movepool for its last slot, which allows it to accomplish different roles for a team. mention moves in this order: knock / hp poison / hp rock / taunt / sucker / focus Taunt shuts down Chansey and pokemon like Ho-oh or Primal Groudon support Arceus formes after Yveltal has used up its Dynamax, who may opt to stay in and Toxic to decrease Yveltal's longevity or use Defog. It also prevents Xerneas from setting up Geomancy. However, all of these targets besides support Arceus formes are already pressured by Knock Off. Alternatively, Knock Off provides great utility for the rest of the team, while similarly hitting Ho-Oh and Chansey hard. Hidden Power Poison allows Yveltal to boost its already potent Special Attack while Dynamaxed to ease the matchup vs stall and break balance easier and potentially OHKO Xerneas. However, it should be used with caution against Ditto teams. Hidden Power Rock is a more niche option that OHKOs Ho-oh while using Max Rockfall, and gives a chance to OHKO opposing Yveltal, if you're dynamaxed and the opposing yveltal is not, it's not a threat. if the opposing yveltal is, you don't ohko it. besides, you usually want to be clicking max airstream but does not provide much more use besides that. Sucker Punch allows Yveltal to revenge kill boosted threats like Ultra Necrozma and Necrozma-DM, but it rarely needs to be used after Yveltal Dynamaxes. Focus Blast can be used as the most reliable way of dealing with Tyranitar, however, it offers very little outside of this.

Modest A Special Attack-boosting nature with max Special Attack and Speed allows the highest damage output while still outpacing Jolly Zacian at plus one. Otherwise, a Modest nature should be used.

Yveltal fits on most Balance and Hyper Offensive due to the support they both provide. Balance Hyper offense allows Yveltal to get switchins vs clean up weakened opposing teams, while Hyper Offense balance is able to deal with Yveltal's relatively few checks. Primal Groudon and Necrozma Dusk Mane are both fantastic partners for Yveltal, as both pdon does not check xern can check Xerneas and Zacian, two big offensive problems for Yveltal. Additionally, Zygarde is able to spread status on bulkier teams, paving the way for Yveltal to sweep. yveltal doesnt need status to sweep Zacian is also a good partner, as it is able to deal with both Tyranitar and Chansey, while punishing Eternatus not relevant. Ditto is also an option to consider, as it can make Zacian think twice before coming in zacian is not much of an issue for yveltal if it has a speed boost it's able to deal with Zacian-C if Yveltal hasn't had an opportunity to Dynamax yet.

Very well written, qc 1.5/2 (EDITED)

EDIT: MDB you need to add Band Yveltal as a set, we think it's worth mentioning and it's pretty much only came into usage very very recently

After taking recent developments into account (i.e. the rise of Tyranitar), the AG QC team has decided on Knock Off / Hidden Power Rock / Focus Blast as the last moveslot for LO Yveltal. Hidden Power Poison / Taunt / Sucker Punch are merely to be mentioned in this exact order. Please make sure to reflect these in your analysis, in addition to including Choice Band.

I’d be willing to take this one over if mdb doesn’t respond within the 24 hrs!
Thanks for your interest! However, since Yveltal is such an important Pokemon in the metagame and this analysis has been sitting for over a month, the QC team has decided we'd like to get this moving as quickly as possible. Since you don't have prior experience writing analyses and the Choice Band set is still yet to be written, we don't want to risk the possibility of another person dragging their feet. I will be taking this over instead.
