Meloetta just gained the move Celebrate from an event, and now it can become a powerful and bulky sweeper when used with a Normalium Z! Z-Celebrate boosts all of Meloetta's stats by one stage, giving it the combination of longevity, power, and speed that it has always wanted. While it still struggles with certain Pokemon like Drapion, Escavalier, and Mandibuzz, Meloetta is able to break through faster threats with its boosted Special Attack and Speed. Z-Celebrate boosting Meloetta's already phenomenal Special Defense, its lower Defense, and its Speed makes Meloetta very difficult to revenge kill if it gets the opportunity to set up. Psychic is a powerful STAB-boosted attack; it has excellent coverage with Focus Blast, which allows Meloetta to hit most Dark-types, which are immune to Psychic. Shadow Ball rounds out Meloetta's coverage, allowing it to hit Pokemon like Doublade and other Psychic-types like Bronzong and Necrozma.
