Monotype Zeraora (QC 1/1) (GP 1/1)

176503

Zeraora @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Bounce
- Bulk Up

Zeraora, with its decent Attack and blazing Speed, serves as a potent physical attacker, making it a valuable member of every Electric team. This set works as an endgame sweeper with Bulk Up, smashing up many weakened types such as Poison and Normal after a boost, and Flyinium Z allows Zeraora to beat Grass-types such as Mega Venusaur and Tapu Bulu, which may give Electric teams trouble and wall its other moves. However, its mono-Electric typing and lackluster bulk mandates hazard support and requires pivots like Zapdos and Rotom-W or a free turn after a teammate has fainted in order to set up safely. Tapu Koko boosts Plasma Fists with Electric Terrain and weakens Dragon-types like Mega Altaria if running Dazzling Gleam while acting as a pivot. Alolan Raichu further helps Zeraora with the Poison matchup and revenge kills faster threats like Mega Aerodactyl in Electric Terrain.

Zeraora, with its decent Attack and blazing Speed, is a must-have on Electric teams as the only viable physical attacker. rephrase this to something like “allows it to serve as a potent physical attacker, making it a valuable member of every electric team” the part about being the only viable physical attacker isn’t really true considering a golem and thundurus exist

Flyinium Z Zeraora works as a lure for Mega Venusaur and Tapu Bulu, which its other set find a bit hard to beat.
can we get more details on how the set works?

However, it is still held back by its mono-Electric typing and lackluster bulk, meaning hazard support from Rotom-W or Zapdos being necessary, and should be brought in through offensive double switches or pivoting from the said Pokemon and Tapu Koko. Rotom-W helps against Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gliscor, and Tapu Koko boosts Plasma Fists with Electric Terrain and reliably deals with Dragon-types if running Dazzling Gleam. Alolan Raichu further helps Zeraora with the Poison matchup, and revenge kills faster threats like Mega Aerdactyl in Electric Terrain. It also appreciated Tapu Bulu gone. Thundurus is also a good choice to help Zeraora perform a late-game sweep by softening up foes with Knock Off.
you can probably get away with removing thundurus and condensing the whole thing. I feel like you talk about the team options a lot more than the actual set which isn’t really good
tag me again whenever you implement

also if you want a replay of the set putting in work this could work: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen7monotype-434429
