[SET COMMENTS]
Zeraora is a notable threat and a potent revenge killer in Mix and Mega that can outspeed nearly every unboosted threat thanks to its blistering speed. Through Pinsirite , it gains an amazing offensive typing in Electric/Flying while also getting a strong secondary STAB in the form of Aerilate boosted Mega Kick, allowing it to hit Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Hippowdon and Eternatus. Plasma Fist is a great move that can target common defensive walls such as Slowbro, Corviknight, Banettite Toxapex and Ho-Oh. Bulk Up allows Zeraora to set up vs common pivots like Corviknight and Sablenite Blissey and threaten majority of the metagame. Facade acts as a more reliable flying STAB given Mega Kick's accuracy and also ensures burns from Scald or Sacred Fire do not deter its ability to wallbreak. Close Combat may be used over Facade thus giving Zeraora better chances against Rhyperior. Finally, Volt Switch could be used as an alternative, allowing Zeraora to function as an offensive pivot and gain momentum vs balance builds. However, this makes it vulnerable to the previously mentioned status.
Thanks to its High Speed, Zeraora fits well in balance teams where it acts as a method of speed control and is able to threaten the likes of Lucarionite Spectrier, Metagrossite Kartana and Diancite Tapu Lele. Offensive Pokemons that can outright threaten defensive Ground types are much appreciated by it. Kartana, in particular performs this role well where it forces out Swampert and Rhyperior, while also being able to threaten Altarianite Zygarde and Dragonite, some of the common Zeraora switch ins. In turn, Zeraora is able to pressure most of Kartana's checks. Slow Pivots such as Slowbro, Corviknight and Blissey are very useful for bringing in Zeraora safely, which maximizes its potential as a wallbreaker. Zeraora also struggles against the everpresent Altarianite Extreme Speed users and thus, defensive walls that can readily switch in to them are great partners for it. Finally, if running Volt Switch, Offensive Partners that can take advantage of the momentum generated by it such as Pheromosa are greatly beneficial to the team.

Other Options
=============
Substitute could be run in the 4th slot which allows Zeraora to take advantage of U-turn or Teleport from opposing slow pivots but that leaves it with Mega Kick as the only flying STAB which is not very reliable considering its accuracy. One can opt for Adamant nature over Jolly, giving Zeraora better chances vs Hippowdon but it makes Zeraora unable to force out some offensive threats such as Spectrier and Tapu Lele due to the loss in speed. Metagrossite with Grass Knot and Play Rough can be used to take on traditional checks but the drop in power is noticeable enough for it to be checked by other defensive walls.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Ground-type Pokemon**: Defensive Ground-types like Altarianite Hippowdon and Tyranitarite Rhyperior can directly switch in to Zeraora's Attacks and also stop it from pivoting out. Rhyperior resists both of Zeraora's STAB and is able to OHKO it with Stone Edge while Hippowdon can starting setting up with Curse and threaten it with Pixelate-boosted Body Slam / Facade.
**Zapdos**: Zapdos with Manectite or Slowbronite is bulky enough to take on Zeraora's attacks. It can easily chip it via Volt Switch and pivot into an Altarianite Extreme Speed Pokemon , thereby forcing Zeraora to Switch. However, Zapdos itself needs to be vary of Hazards when doing so.
**Extreme Speed Users**: While Zeraora resists and threatens Pinsirite Extreme Speed Pokemon, Altarianite users are a big challenge for it. With a little bit of chip , Zeraora gets in the range of getting OHKO from both Entei or Dragonite and thus is forced to switch out.
**Zygarde**: Both Altarianite and Lucarionite Zygarde are good offensive check to Zeraora, being able to tank a hit and then threatening it with either Pixilate Extreme Speed or Adaptability boosted STABs.
**Other Defensive Walls**: Zeraora is unable to get past through Slowbronite Mew which can shrug off its attacks and heal back while also threatening it with Ice Beam. Lunala is also able to do the same with Shadow Shield. Even without Shadow Shield, Zeraora needs to Hit 2 Mega Kicks and get a favourable roll to beat Lunala, a scenario which isn't ideal for it. At last, while not very common, Manectite Magearna is another hard check to Zeraora, as it takes minimal damage from Plasma Fist and has the option to either outright damage with Fleur Cannon or pivot to gain momentum via Volt Switch.
