1. In your thread, it says it's female.
Female pokemon are, generally, rarer than males (like 8:1 for starters, for example).
There are abilities and moves that make the opposite gender fall in love, and have a chance of not attacking.

1. If you don't have a female one, you'll want to change your thread. Female > Male is better because of "love" effects...
