Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I'm curious as to why both and are rated as high as A on Psychic. I've never used them as I didn't think there was anything that useful about them. Based on my experience with Psychic, Bronzong doesn't seem that exceptional for Psychic. It does have a good typing, ability, and utility with...
If social elitism had a face, you would be it. Like what a bold statement to make in a tier where different types do not have the same tools as others. I'm not even mainly using types that lose to Annihilape. Me telling you to reconsider your words was directed moreso at you using loaded...
The meta is literally 3 weeks old; Rome was not built in one day. You need to take a step back and realize that everything is being holistically considered one by one. There's a reason some of the paradoxes (i.e. Flutter Mane, Roaring Moon, and Iron Bundle) were not really on the subject to be...
Someone claimed that the Ruin abilities affect base stats and is not akin to an internal stat stage change. And so, does the Ruin abilities affect base stats instead of applying an internal stat stage change? Does this also apply to the Paradox abilities?
Toxapex can serve to switchin on and scout Urshifu, and then you can decide accordingly what to do. Toxapex can survive a wicked blow and with Regenerator and Black Sludge, can reduce the net damage to around 19-29% and 31.5-41% with SR. Toxapex on bulky water has good teammates to cover for it...
So you're for a ban mainly because its wallbreaking power with 130 base attack and having a virtual 120 BP Dark (which is by de facto immune to attack drops from effects like Intimidate, which isn't really prevalent either way) and 120 Fighting STAB. Unseen Fist is just another factor as to why...
Vs Flying, the only prominent user of protect is Celesteela. So really, it mainly just invalidates Celesteela's ability to scout and passively accure HP. That does force Flying to switch into either Mandibuzz to softcheck and scout for Wicked Blow or Zapdos-G to force out Urshifu withour...
Can we see scenarios and examples where Urshifu makes an actual difference when it's foregone,? This is assuming that this is mainly Dark we're focusing on as that seems to be the main type Urshifu is being talked about.
You don't need Sub BU Zapdos-G to beat Dark, in fact, I think you're doing...
Excellent points! I concur.
I'm not sure as to what you're referring to as my second point, but I'm assuming you're talking about being a linchpin to HO Dark's success. I absolutely agree that Dark's strongest playstyle is by far Balanced Dark without a doubt; what I'm trying to say is that...
Yes, Hydreigon has a good movepool and is very much a good special wallbreaker, which you mention Grimmsnarl does not meet. However, it seems to me you're choosing to base Grimmsnarl's overall ranking based on offensive presence rather than its role, at least what I deduced from your post. That...
C -> B (Dark)
While Moltres-g does not learn Roost, which prevents it from being retroactive in a battle, it can certainly be a potent late game sweeper. Moltres-g can setup without screens given its above average bulk and decent typing, but it requires screen supports to do so safely...
Perhaps you should reread what I said closely. I never said it was or wasn't a threat to other types other than what steel is SE against (i.e ice, rock, fairy). The post was meant to point out how flawed the argument fairy can beat melmetal with either clefable and/or bulu is and potentially for...
I think you made some good points for some of the other types, but I think you're giving too much credit to fairy in theory. Games with melmetal tend to lead with melmetal because it can KO every fairy besides the ones that neutrally resist its STAB under screen.
Klefki is already a 2HKO...
The loss of hidden power indirectly and effectively gave steel a buff, which steel has been capitalizing with the dubious heatran, aegislash, and ferrothorn/celesteela core that covers each others' weaknesses. Ferrothorn and celesteela can apply pressure with residiual chip damage and aegislash...
Impidimp should be able to have torment via leving up and from hatching from an egg, but it says otherwise here. Its evo line doesn't have this problem with torment; just Impidimp.
Edit: Nevermind, it's not a bug, it should have a different error prompt tho
