A common sub variant can deal with amoonguss easily. Also, the standard amoonguss takes 44.6 - 52.7% from shadow ball (not a solid switch-in really). Taking 1vs1 scenarios into account when considering the possible counters of a pokemon is dumb, in my opinion :/
