I agree with this completely. The main reason why last year's Master finals is so fun to watch is because of the insane crowd reaction to things like double Rock Slide flinches and Focus Sash Tyranitars. Watching a in-game recorded battle just doesn't compare to live.

Unfortunate news to wake up to. Whether we still get out Championships or not is not the issue for me... it's more the fact that the Japanese folks won't even be able to participate this year. It's kind of hard to get motivated now, and the Worlds this year just won't feel the same regardless...

Congratulations to the BlueCookies! The first match was a real sweat, but the next two were a real steamroll. Glad that you got to show Japan that they may have created Pokemon, but we have mastered it. And now I await the flurry of warstories that shall follow~

Agreed, though maybe I'll have to wait and see triple battles with my own eyes to see if it's really as crazy as it sounds... so I'll instead say I semi-hope they'll keep the double battle format for 2011. And congratulations to everyone who made it big in the Nationals, and good luck at...

Eh, I was kind of hoping that the triple battle was rumor was just that, but what can you do? We'll just have to see what kind of effect this has, and if the 2011 VGCs will be held under triple battle rules or not. And I'm waiting for official art before judging the new Pokemon, but I like all...
