I'll do calcs one in a while, but only if I particularly care about winning a match (if I'm playing someone I know or a big name on the ladder). Other than that, I really feel that calcs diminish the excitement of a battle. I'd rather learn how much Scizor's BP does to Flygon from experience...
I see what you're saying about their similarities in defensive potential and how much the lack of recovery hurts Tomb. And I completely agree that Rotom-A has better typing despite his weaknesses and more utility in general with STAB T-Bolt and resistances to a bunch of common attacking types...
I'm sorry if that was unclear; yes, you don't actually "beat" Luke, but you do act as a decent check to him. Also, correct me if I'm wrong because you probably know more about stall than I do, but don't you consider it an advantage for Tomb to be able to switch into a Starmie Hydro Pump and kill...
Seeing as there's already been a Rotom-A alternative posted above, I'll post a kinda odd spinblocker I've been testing on a stall team. I'm not sure that the set is completely viable as it hasn't quite performed consistently, but it's had its moments.
