It seems like you could use him in double/triple battles. Pair him with a fast partner to attack him with a (weak/resisted) muliple-hit attack. If things happen like I think they do, then each physical hit of the multi-hit attack would boost his speed.

rapid spin with no target If my opponent uses explosion and faints before I have a chance to use rapid spin, should it succeed? I think it should succeed, but I always get the message that there is no target.
