  1. Foul Play

I've been using this on Murkrow and its so good. You can beat Arceus normal 1v1 using this. Actually I'm finding this quite good in Ubers because everything there has such high attack stats, and Dark is a much better offensive typing in Ubers.
  2. Quagsire

Apart from Toxic I find that Specs/Band users can really screw Quagsire so I find Knock Off/Thief useful. Stuff like Scizor are far less dangerous without their Choice items.
  3. Who Needs Gen 5 Pokemon Anyway?

Great warstory, really enjoyed seeing Metagross wreck stuff.
  4. Whimsicott

Pretty much. Get a sub up and its a free turn in reserve more or less. Sure you can't get one up against something that is hammering you with attacks, but its usually worth trying to see if they do something else.
  5. Whimsicott

The misprediction occurs on their first move, you can't Encore nothing. If they SR, you can Encore next turn but they'll probably switch out anyway. If they use Spikes they don't even care about Encore. Basically if you are Encoring every time they use a setup move you are giving them free...
  6. Whimsicott

Whatever. Because its so stupid to setup on a Whimsicott sometimes they predict a switch and seed you and bam, free setup. Other times it backfires. Same thing that happens with pursuiting, you see a Weavile come in to presumably pursuit you, but because the pursuit is so obvious they go for...
  7. Dragonite

The Cloyster example was to say what people do when they see a Cloyster, not anything to do with Dragonite. But yeah, you nailed it. If you ran Agility/Roost/Thunder/Hurricane you'd be totally walled by say Steelix so setting up would be pointless would do nothing for you. The Dragon Dance...
  8. Dragonite

Rain Dragonite doesn't need Leftovers to deal with Sandstorm so I'd actually consider trying Yache or something. I get your point. Sometimes it will be best to Agility first, but as mentioned that is where scouting/team preview come into play. Its just a matter of using what you know, and...
  9. Dragonite

Life Orb really works against Multi Scale, but otherwise that rain set is solid. Yes you get walled by Blissey and whatever, but this is why you don't use Agility immediately. Much better to fire off a random Hurricane/Thunder to see what they are likely to send in, and you have the nice 30%...
  10. Tangrowth

The enemy HP matters far more. Leech Seed is still awesome but I miss having Blissey and Snorlax everywhere to abuse it on.
  11. Swampert

For 4x weak to grass sure, but I've setup Suicune on Ferrothorn more times than I care to count even with Power Whip and Leech Seed. You have a fair few chances to burn it with Scald, and after that Power Whip is worthless. But I digress, yeah Ferrothorn is a solid switchin to Swampert, but...
  12. Swampert

Well is it worth it losing your best sand sweepers to try and 2HKO Swampert? As with EQ/Surf/Ice Beam he can OHKO a lot of them back.
  13. Slowbro

I guess Scizor is a pretty decent switching to Slowbro for the free U-Turn so Flamethrower on the switch is good, not to mention an overall good move that gives him something to use in the sun.
  14. Ditto

For people saying Ditto can't force things out, once a Ditto came in on my fully boosted CroCune and I easily stalled it out, but then he just switches back in with more PP. He more or less has infinite PP.
  15. Slowbro

Well STAB Surf/Scald hits Scizor almost as hard and you have to switch out of Scizor anyway. Ferrothorn doesn't particularly enjoy risking a burn from Scald, but yeah Flamethrower cooks him.
