What's a coin trick?

So I got to pick a gen II starter after beating the game. I've heard other people say you can a gent a IV or V starter. Anyone know what that's about?

I don't know why people are saying it doesn't work. In Battle Spot switching definitely takes place before Mega Evolution.

Hyper Cutter is definitely useful. I've had a few people switch Gyarados into me on the turn I MEvolve on Battle Spot.

None of those Pokemon are in the No Egg group. It has been confirmed that all No Egg group pokemon (that are catchable in the game right now at least) have three 31 IVs if caught in the wild. http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-xy/egg/noeggs.shtml

Thanks for the list. About to start my next run so might as well do a quick run down of my team the first time through Azurill: - High Availability: Flocessy Ranch. Very early on, and not too hard to encounter. Stats: Attack is the reason you raise Azurill. Its speed is nothing to write home...

Is there a list of what hasn't been tiered yet? About to start a playthrough and might as well try to use one or two of them.
