You can find YouTube compilations of about any good player and say he is world class by ONLY judging that video. It's about how he performs regularly and not just little parts from a lot of different matches. 60 million (I assume 600 is a typo)?! Kaka went from Milan to Real for 64 million, and he was world class for a couple of years then. To be honest, Ajax should be damned happy if they get 30 million for him. Sneijder, Huntelaar, Van der Vaart, Kuyt, Van Persie, Seedorf, etc. all moved for less.I also think 200.000.000 Euro rumors are bullshit. Ronaldo>Suárez for now, in five years Suárez>Ronaldo.
Has anybody even watched the Youtube vids?
The concrete bids from 30.000.000 Euro-70.000.000 Euro are concrete and I think 600.000.000 Euro is the prize he is worth. The notable bids Suárez considers in the summer transfer period are FC Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United and Arsenal.
Stekelenburg is a very good goalie. First keeper of the Dutch national team. Maybe you should search some Maarten Stekelenburg-saves on Youtube. Maybe a 6th place is too good for him, but he should be in the top 10.
Yeah, I know he isn't bad. I'm Dutch myself and I regularly watch live matches. Again, screw YouTube videos. You can make compilations of great saves by just about any keeper. It's about how he performs during a whole season. Stekelenburg is a fine goalie, but he's not first keeper of the Netherlands because he's one of the best in the world... He's the best of the Netherlands. I hate to say, but that's not saying a whole damn lot at the moment. Stekelenburg is the best choice at the moment, but he's far off from the likes of Van der Sar, De Goey, Van Breukelen, Pieters Graafland, Van Beveren, etc. At least he still has growth potential. Goalkeepers tend to peak pretty late in their career (e.g. 30+).
