All battles in this thread are assumed to follow the following rules:
4v4 Doubles
Species Clause - A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on a team.
Item Clause - No two Pokémon on the same team can hold the same item.
Item Banlist - A team cannot have a Pokémon holding any of the following items: Soul Dew.
Level 50 Maximum - Only Pokémon and moves obtained at or before Level 50 may be used.
Self-KO Clause - If an attack knocks out both players’ last Pokémon (this includes Life Orb damage), the player that used the attack loses the match.
Pokémon Banlist - A team cannot have any of the following Pokémon: Arceus, Celebi, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Giratina, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Jirachi, Kyogre, Lugia, Manaphy, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Phione, Rayquaza, Rotom, Shaymin, Tyranitar.
Dragonite - Dragonite is not normally obtainable at level 50, but the Toys R Us event Dragonite (which is always of the Mild nature) is legal for VGC 2009 use.
