I think so. It works that way with luxury balls.

I can catch a male audino for you in a friend safari. You can then level it yourself to lvl 35 when it learns heal pulse.
That's the only offer I can make.

When it hatches you will be able to see it's shiny. The sprite in the NN screen, however, will not show it as shiny.
