Moves
========
U-Turn U-turn is a good STAB move that Scizor can use to switch into a more favorable matchup match-up, (AC) especially against Skarmory, and gives the team provides the team with offensive momentum. Another STAB move Scizor can carry is Bullet Punch. Bullet Punch gives Scizor a solid Steel-type STAB attack, (AC) which is necessary to hit Pokemon such as Kyurem-B, (RC) Fairies, (RC) Fairy-types and weakened Dragon-types such as Kyurem-B. Not only that, it Bullet Punch is a priority attack that is boosted by Technician, (AC) which mitigates this sets Scizor's horrible Speed. Knock Off is a great move to round off out Scizor's coverage, hitting Pokemon like such as Skarmory which resist Scizor's other moves while neutering walls on the switch like such as Landorus-T, Hippowdon, and Heatran on the switch which Scizor cannot otherwise touch by removing their important Leftovers. Other options on this set include using Pursuit instead of Knock Off. Pursuit gives can be used over Knock Off to give Scizor the ability to trap Pokemon such as Latios, Latias, and Mega Gardevoir, (AC) which could be the key in helping a partner, such as Keldeo, to sweep if its checks and counters and eliminated can assist Pokemon such as Keldeo in sweeping. It also puts Kyurem-B into a good KO range with Bullet Punch. Adding to Scizor's coverage Superpower hits common switch-ins such as Heatran while being able to do a good amount of damage to Skarmory making Skarmory roost and forcing it to Roost. Superpower is also the only move that can guarantee an is guaranteed to OHKO on Bisharp and Mega Tyranitar. If Bisharp stays in and uses Knock Off as you U-turn, a teammate could lose an item. Similarly, Mega Tyranitar can tank a U-turn while it cannot survive a Superpower. Finally, Roost can give gives Scizor a way to repeatedly check necessary threats such as Bisharp, Latias, Latios, Fairies Fairy-types, and other Dragon-Types Dragon-types which offensive sets cannot do repeatedly.
Set Details
========
Scizor's EV spread focuses on HP, Special Defense, and Attack. The 248 HP EVs invested in HP are to make Scizor as bulky as possible and to reduce Stealth Rock damage. To add to the bulk, the 164 Special Defense EVs are for to help Scizor to be able to sponge up attacks from the likes of Latios, Latias, and Aegislash, (AC) . (RC) On the offensive side of Scizor, the attack while 96 Attack EVs are for give Scizor added damage output to be able to deal good damage. Light metal Metal is the ability Scizor carries because, (RC) of choice as it reduces the damage output of Low Kick and Grass Know, and Mega Scizor when it Mega evolves into Mega-Scizor it gains Technician upon Mega Evolving, anyways. The reason for Light Metal is that the ability reduces the damage from Grass Knot and Low Kick.
Usage Tips
========
In comparison, Mega Scizor with Roost isn't as defensive as Mega Scizor that carries Defog, nor is Mega Scizor with Roost as offensive as an Mega Scizor that carries Swords Dance This Scizor set is a happy medium between the other sets, being more offensively-oriented than the Defog set but more defensively-oriented than the Swords Dance set. Mega Scizor with Roost acts as a superior revenge killer, (Scizor acts as a superior revenge killer to what? You can re-word this part if you want but right now it makes like no sense :c) and is more bulky than other Mega Scizor. Also, (RC) Mega Scizor can act as a lure to Pokemon that counter Scizor it, (AC) wish is extremely easy to counter and predict. ("...wish is extremely easy to counter and predict" does not tell the reader how Scizor acts as a lure. Instead, finish this sentence by explaining to the reader how Scizor acts as a lure) Scizor can also easily U-Turn U-turn, (RC) which gives Scizor the switch needed to get a favorable matchup should be used to escape unfavorable matchups, (AC) such as against Skarmory, (RC) which completely walls Scizor. U-Turning out U-turn should also builds be used to build up offensive momentum for the team. Another thing Scizor does well is that it walls the the quite common Fairy Pokemon makes for a good switch-in to Fairy-type Pokemon, (AC) as it resists their STAB moves and can retaliate back with a super effective Bullet Punch. Although However, watch out for Clefable, (AC) which as it sometimes carry carries a Fire Fire-type move to counter hit Scizor with. Another Pokemon to watch out for is Mega Gardevoir, (AC) which at times carry as it occasionally carries Hidden Power Fire, (RC) or Will-O-Wisp, both moves that Scizor doesn't like seeing hates. (Isn't Scizor, like, the best answer to Mega Gardevoir besides Aegislash though? It seems weird to tell the player to watch out for it. Instead, you should probably reword it to say that the user should scout for these moves before leaving Scizor in against Mega Gardevoir.
Team Options
========
Notable teammates of Mega Scizor should be able to counter Keldeo, Thundurus, and Fire types such as Heatran. (Either remove this all together or make note of some Pokemon that do this.) Starting off, (RC) Tyranitar is a great teammate to Scizor because Tyranitar is a great counter to Talonflame With its Rock typing and its ability to learn Stone Edge. Next on the list is, Heatran, which has the ability Flash Fire and prevents Fire Type moves from touching it. Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Rotom-W, Keldeo, Terrakion, and Heatran all make for great partners, as they can beat the Fire-types that Mega Scizor hates. Water-types like Keldeo and Rotom-Wash are fantastic checks to Fire-types; the latter is especially helpful as it also counters the ubiquitous Talonflame. Terrakion can check Heatran due to its typing and Close Combat it into oblivion. However, beware of Talonflame though. Speaking of Talonflame, Rotom-Wash is a great counter to Talonflame. Terrakion is also a great sweeper, not to mention it has good typing against Fire types. Terrakion also has accessibility to Stone Edge to easily knock out feared Pokemon such as Thundurus.
(Literally all this listed was Pokemon who can deal with Fire-types. You need to mention more partners. Pokemon with U-turn and Volt Switch, Pokemon that hate Fairy-types, etc. You know this mon; you should be able to come up with more partners than just those that deal with Fire-types :P)
