Congrats e7e, you defeated two tough opponents to win this tournament!

Would you guys mind showing the team you've used in this metagame and the strategies behind them?

I ll try

The first thing I did was look for the celebi and think how he could be effective in this metagame.

It really is resistant, and you can enter in much of the metagame.

But you need to use leech seed very well to he be good in a match, it really helps to press the opponent, but has few pps.

So I decided not to use celebi, but to prepare something strong against him and snorlax.

I used this team against Conflict in R1 and Isa in R2: http://p.shrib.com/b1pobZim?v=nc

A basic GSC offensive team, but I thought quite about the movesets. I could use drill peck in zapdos, but I'd be weak to rhydon. I realized that celebi could enter in Cloyster in sometime, so I thought ice beam would more useful than toxic. Egg usually attract two types of Pokémon, A steel-mon (Forretress or Skarmory), Celebi and Tyranitar or Umbreon. I wanted to somehow weaken or press Forrestress and Skarmory, so I tried using HP Fire, but I'd be so weak to Tyranitar and Umbreon. In this case sleep powder would help a lot. I love drumlax <3, and I think he fits very well in this team. The biggest challenge was deciding between Lovely Kiss or Earthquake, but I wanted to try to use Earthquake. This Steelix is standard, and the Gengar also.

I tried to summarize all

Here is the other team: http://p.shrib.com/LfwAT6Ij?v=nc

I used against conflict in R2

I tried to make a cteam here, and it worked uhu

This team is weak to marowak, but I had to bet on it.

Forgive me if I did not explained right, but my english is bad and i'm a new player in GSC (I started learning in this tournament).

I used the same team all the way up to Grand Finals (and used it R1 vs. e7e as well), but since I asked Conflict to help me with it prior to tournament start I obviously couldn't use it versus him. I won all games with that team and lost all other games - RIP. I lacked inspiration a lot and couldn't innovate (though my Belly Drum + three attacks Lax set did some work vs. Conflict game 2).

The team in question was:
Zapdos @ Leftovers
- Thunder
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Drill Peck

Celebi @ Leftovers
- Recover
- Perish Song
- Leech Seed
- Heal Bell

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
- Rest
- Curse
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake

Skarmory (M) @ MiracleBerry
- Rest
- Drill Peck
- Whirlwind
- Thief

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
- Pursuit
- Rock Slide
- Roar
- Earthquake

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
- Hidden Power Bug
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic

When I came to Conflict and asked for help, I had Fire Blast over Roar on TTar I think (it was an attacking move) and Forretress was Heracross. Basically, I wanted to give opposing Celebi very few opportunities to come in and do something worthwhile - that was my entire teambuilding idea. Conflict told me to add Curse or Roar on TTar to make it actually check opposing Laxes, and add Forretress to get a Spikes war winner. It worked like a charm.
Perish Song over Psychic because Psychic usually doesn't hit hard either way, and adding 8 additional pseudohazing PP's would assist greatly while also helping vs. last mon anything.

Conflict posted the games I had with him, so look there if you wanna see those games

My game vs. Hill took over an hour to play and I think my games vs. BKC/Nachos took roughly 40 minutes. I'm aware that my team is highly stally and that long games are to be expected if you play that way...but ugh. It shaped my view on the metagame heavily and as you can tell by my posts in this thread, when I lost to Conflict I just wanted the tour to end already so I could stop playing this metagame. :(

Shoutouts to Conflict for helping me with the team, wouldn't have made it this far without your assistance! :)
