eh in my run so far (18-2 but hax cost me the two loses) daru was a key player, actually critting with rock slide twice to win a game. Never missed except for one that didn't matter.

So I wasn't able to post this yesterday, but oh well. Anyway the pokemon for this week are:

Ekans has several notable points: Coil, STAB Gunk Shot, Earthquake, Shed Skin + Rest, Sucker Punch, Intimidate. Alongside the benefits and detriments of being a poison type, these make Ekans a mixed bag. How truly viable is Ekans?

Amazing Special Defense allows Mantyke to wall notable pokemon, however being x4 weak to electric holds Mantyke; however, is that really and end all be all reason to not use Mantyke?

Buneary has many, many options for what it can run. Ultimately, just have fun with it and see if you can discover anything new about it.​

Probably could've gotten higher if I laddered more.

Anyways. BD Daru sucks. a lot. It swept 1 person total, was really hard to set up, and was prone to being revenge killed once set up. All my losses are when I was using that piece of shit

However, Flame Charge Darumaka was great. Being able to switch moves is a godsend and if you can get a flame charge against a weakened or offensive team, consider it a gg. Berry juice allows for more Flare Blitz spam and means you can take weak priority. Its a great set that I would actually use outside of research week.
