It is currently dusk of day 2, and you are at 2,2.

What do you do?

Strong! Strong! They're way too strong!

Blood! Blood! He doesn't get blood!

Flee! Flee! We all must flee!

Urgh...well, I guess that's that, then. You guys alright?

I've felt better...damn cultists...

Yeah, that took more out of me than I thought.

Guess we should set up camp early, then. That dungeon shouldn't be too far, we'll go look for it tomorrow.

Rico: Heal Pulse (Auroch) -> Chill
Auroch: Chill -> Chill
Lancelot: Chill -> Chill[/b]
Party: Keep watch, but otherwise idle the next 6 hours

You have Lucario fire off a Heal Pulse at Zoroark and have the team rest up a bit. (-2 en Lucario, +20 hp Zoroark, +24 en Zoroark, +24 en Charizard) Then, you have the team sit around and wait for a while, to recover some. (+50 en all, -1 fullness all, -1 hydration all)

Seeing that your team is still more beat up than you would like, you decide to rest fully, leaving Lucario on guard duty. (+22 en Lucario, +20 hp Zoroark, +2 en Zoroark, +20 hp Charizard, -1 fullness all, -1 hydration all) He sees a few things in the forest, but they don't approach you.

Well, Rico's clearly not getting back up anytime soon. I'll keep an eye out on him, if you wanna go scouting.

Hopefully that dungeon shouldn't be far...

Rico: Sleep
Auroch: Scout the area for a dungeon - or failing that, food
Lancelot: Keep watch over Rico

You decide to have Lucario rest with Charizard watching, while Zoroark goes searching for stuff. (+20 hp Lucario, -10 en Zoroark, -1 fullness all, -1 hydration all) Nothing disturbs you in the meanwhile. When Zoroark comes back, he tells you that he saw an enormous tree, large enough to fit a house inside, so tall you can't see the leafs, and a door that is big enough to allow you through. You're not really sure how much Zoroark is embellishing the story, but it seems worth investigating.

"Big enough to fit a house, huh?"

"Yeah. Maybe a couple, even. I think it's safe to say if there's any treasure around here, it's in there."

"Heh, sweet! Hopefully we'll hit the big bucks!"

"And what would you do with that kind of money? Squander it all on the next run?"

"Of course!...Wait, what's that supposed to mean?!"

Rico: Eat an apple, then head for the tree
Auroch: Eat an apple, then head for the tree
Lancelot: Eat a Chesto berry, then head for the tree

You have your pokemon head towards the tree, eating some food along the way. (+2 fullness Lucario and Zoroark, +1 fullness Charizard) When you get there, it turns out that Zoroark was barely exaggerating at all, and the tree is indeed gigantic, and there is a nice door, complete with a handle.

Time and location have not changed.

What do you do?

You open the door, with your pokemon close behind. When you look inside, the only light seems to be from Charizard's tail. You can faintly see a few Seedot sleeping, but they don't take notice of you. There seems to be a very faintly illuminated set of stairs on the opposite side of the room.

Arena notes: Permanent, unchangeable Grassy Terrain

"Damn, this place is dar-mmph!"

"Shh! You wanna wake the guards?!"

"Guards? Those Seedots over there? Pretty sure they're asleep."

"Maybe, but there's no sense taking any risks. Let's just sneak past 'em."

All: Quietly sneak up the stairs, Auroch on point, Lancelot in the middle and Rico at the rear.

You tiptoe around the sleeping pokemon, being careful not to wake one up. You manage to make it to the stairs without waking any Seedots, and go up the stairs. (Note: Sorry for forgetting to specify which way the stairs go. They only went up.) After you go up the stairs, you enter a new room, only slightly less dark than the previous one, but this time the room is empty, save for a strange carved wooden pole through the center, which is only faintly illuminated by Charizard's light. The stairs continue upwards, as well.

Arena notes: Permanent, unchangeable Grassy Terrain

What do you do?

"What do you say, Auroch? All clear?"

"Looks that way. All I can see in here is that pole."

"Whaddaya think it's for?"

"Can't tell this far off. Let's check it out."

Rico and Lancelot: Inspect the pole
Auroch: Stay behind and keep lookout

You have Lucario and Charizard inspect the wooden pole, with Zoroark staying at the stairs to make sure that nothing comes down to attack you. Charizard recognizes the pole, seeing that it seems to be an incredibly detailed carving of the very tree you're in, although the top appears to be missing. He notices that there is a small opening just above a branch, around halfway up the tree. Lucario detects a malevolent presence inside the carving.

What do you do?

...!

"Something wrong, Rico?"

"Lance. Back away from the pole very slowly."

"What, what'd you see?"

"Whatever it is, get back, and be prepared to fight at a moment's notice."

Rico and Lancelot: Back away from the pole. If nothing happens, head up the stairs with Auroch, giving the pole a wide berth.
Auroch: Stand by. If Rico and Lancelot get attacked, join in, but if nothing happens, regroup and go up the stairs

Deciding that the pole is a trap, you have your pokemon back away from it and go up the stairs. When they reach the top, they find themselves in another room, although this one is somewhat well-lit. You can see some light streaming down from the stairs leading up, which are on the opposite side of the room. There is a pair of Seedots blocking your way through. They seem intent on making you leave, or at least slowing you down.

What do you do?

No fluff this time. Fuck Redneckistani internet.

Auroch: Use illusion to induce a pseudo-hallucination on the Seedot (i.e. colorful faces emerging from the walls and blaring YMCA)
Rico and Lancelot: Stand by for attack if it doesn't work

You order Zoroark to cause the trippiest illusion he can (-5 en), and it shows, as the Seedots start freaking out and spraying Bullet Seeds everywhere, including on you and each other! (-6 en Seedots), (487 885) (-(3*3*.75+3+3+1.5)/1.5=9.5 hp Seedots, -(3*3*.75+3+3)/1.5=8.5 hp Lucario, -(3*3*.75+3+3+3)=15.75 hp Zoroark, -(3*3*.75+3+3)/2.25=5.667 hp Charizard) (+2 hp all but Charizard due to grassy terrain)
