Contact attacks have 5% chance of freezing non-Ice or Fire type targets for 4a There's a small chance a contact attack may just knock your Pokemon into the KoffCones stand. Unless your Pokemon's body is used to such situations, or you can just melt itself, the Pokemon is frozen from the cold for 4a.

Water-type attacks that need a water source (I.E. Surf) are Ice-type, but still receive STAB if the user is part-Water and/or part Ice The lack of a good water source requires you to use the ice cream from the stand, which, though Water-types still receive STAB, also gives Ice-types STAB and makes it an effective Ice-type move, in terms of weaknesses and resistances.

Round 1: Welcome to Koffing Cones Stand!:

Unaware of his surroundings, Deadfox asks his Puncha to go for a Earthquake. It only dawns on them where they are standing when a Cone falls on Deadfox's head from the Koffing Cones Stand, where people start complaining about using an attack that could disrupt their ice cream eating experience.

Deadfox uses the Sun to his advantage though and orders his Sucker to launch a Fiery Heat Wave on his opponents. Whereas, Frosty opts to protect the Everstone from leaving the grasp of his Zant and also trying for a Freeze with most of his attacks.

Puncha misses most of his attacks while Sucker was able to deal some damage, though the problem is that Puncha got Frozen from one of the contact moves of Zant, who had Ice Cream all over him. But now that the group has Teleported away from the Koffing Cone Stand to a Rage Battlefield, would there be a turn of events? Or will Frosty keep chipping away at Deadfox's team? Intriguing...

Description:
An ancient battlefield that has at its core the very essence of war. This otherwise neutral field with rocks and grass at the core and a small moat of water surrounding the arena cries out for more destruction, cursing all who enter it. It is known only by the dim, dusty fog that forever looms over it. The battlefield puts Pokemon into a state where only their most basic survival instincts remain intact.

The battlefield prohibits all Attacks except for two kinds: Attacks on the self or allies that increase offensive potential (Atk/SpA/Spe/Acc Stat-boosts, Focus Energy, Helping Hand, etc.) and damaging attacks targeting the opponent. The battlefield prohibits suspending offensive evasive actions. Non-damaging attacks may be used via combination with a compatible damaging attack. All Commands may be used on the battlefield as they are part of a Pokemon's basic instincts.

Summary: Very straightforward. Attack or be attacked, raise your strength or fight head on, defense is not an option. There is only instinct.​

Stuff:
- Banette should lose hp due to earthquake A1 (protect is only for sableye) and Heat Wave A2
- Everstone Sableye has 6/5 stats, not 5/4. This affects a lot of attacks
- Heat Wave Crit Rolls indicate no crit. And yet both have crits on it.
- Sableye should lose only 8hp (or 11 if crit is really a thing), not 28 @_@.

I would like to see those fixed if possible. Gale Wing Srock

Stuff:
- Mega Banette doesn't lose HP due to EQ as per the Arena restrictions, It does lose HP due to Heat wave though, Fixed.
- 0_0 was aware of it, but couldn't digest a pixie getting so much power. Fixed.
- Heatwave didn't roll crits, the Arena had sunny day up for 5 actions.
- I think I calculated the damage evaded too, for Sableye's HP. Fixed.

Also, requesting you guys to VM stuff if they are small ones. In this case it was a big one so I don't mind.

Both sides lash out on each other to gain control of the battle, Deadfox's side which was crippled already due to Frosty's insane luck, suffered further damage as they lost Sucker the Crobat.

Deadfox need to regroup, and now that Puncha has thawed himself out, will this help him save face against the Elite Trainer Frosty?

And all of a sudden the trainers and their pokemon teleport to a strange arena high in the sky. They seem to be on a wooden platform which balloons tied to each corner of the platform. Anything can happen in this weird place, so follow us close.

The pokemon are high in the sky on a circular wooden platform with a 100ft diameter. No external water source, rocks or grass can be found on this platform. The platform is too thin to dig through as well, but the wood is strong enough to allow seismic moves.

In addition to any items the pokemon may be holding, each pokemon starts the battle equipped with 5 darts. Once per round, a pokemon may throw a dart for 5 energy with the Throw Dart command. This cannot be Encored or Disabled, but can be prevented by Taunt, Torment and Embargo. The thrown dart will pop a randomly-chosen balloon and that balloon will have a specified effect. Here are the balloons along with their chances of being popped and their effects:
  • Normal balloon (25% chance): no effect
  • Tack balloon (10% chance): deals 10 damage to all opponents
  • Spike ball balloon (10% chance): deals 25 damage to the opponent with the highest health*
  • Bomb balloon (10% chance): deals 25 damage to the opponent with the lowest health*
  • Ice balloon (10% chance): freezes the opponent with the highest health* for 1 action
  • Bee balloon (10% chance): does 10 damage per action to the opponent with the highest health* for 3 actions, shifting between pokemon each action if necessary
  • Extra dart balloon (10% chance): gives the pokemon 1 dart
  • Triple dart balloon (5% chance): gives the pokemon 3 darts
  • Boomerang balloon (5% chance): gives the pokemon 1 boomerang and allows them to use the Throw Boomerang command, which works like throwing a dart except it also does 10 damage to the opponent with the highest health* and can be used while taunted but cannot be used if the pokemon is throwing a dart in the same round
  • Lightsaber Balloon (5% chance): pops 2 balloons from this list (if one of those is another lightsaber balloon, reroll for that balloon)

The ghosts devastated the Metallic fighter with some great combinations. Deadfox has to send in a fresh pokemon two rounds in a row. That can give you a picture of the situation he is in.

Despite having taunted Sableye and avoiding Counter from the naughty pixie. Deadfox was still unable to get any advantage this round thanks to the Mega Focus Punch that Bongo Bongo the Dusknoir threw at him taking out more than half his health with one blow.

Devastated would be an understatement of what Deadfox might be feeling right now. But will he avenge this loss while ordering second? Or will Frosty triumph yet again?

Frosty did also get a lucky burn... that is sprinkling salt on fresh wound if you ask me.

The arena effects are simply neglected, but its not like the Arena had any good effect in the first place.

Frosty tries to make sure that his mons survive the inevitable fall while ordering first, but fails to a powerful combo, that was boosted by priority. That does a whopping 44.25 damage on the fairy plant, taking her out of the battle after her first and only action. Frosty was not joking when he said he feel unprepared using Veran in battle. Maybe, we would see a trade soon?

Puncha is the hero of this battle for Deadfox already and has sacrificed himself for a great moment boost for his team. Frosty is still ahead with a 3 - 1 Lead; But Deadfox seems ever so pumped to narrow the margin down. Will he be able to do it while ordering first? Stay glued to find out!

The Factory is a huge room in an abandoned factory. The room is empty besides three fans that blow around sand that was previously lying on the floor of the room, causing a permanent Sandstorm. The fans may be destroyed; they have 60 HP each, Rank 3 Defense and Special Defense, and are considered Steel-type. If all three fans are destroyed the sandstorm will stop. In addition, the room has magnetic properties that give all Steel-types the ability Levitate permanently.​
