Ferroseed is a solid counter to corpish. It resists Crab hammer and Aqua jet and it takes very little from knock off. While in return bullet seed ko's with 3 hits every time. Leech seed helps with longevity and you can set up layers of spikes when they presumably switch out. Only way ferro loses is if it switches into a +2 crab hammer, which can 2hko.

Just make sure to spore on the first turn. Otherwise if he SD's on your switch and knock off first and THEN crabhammer, you might go down (depending on how low you roll and how high he rolls).

He makes it twice, and Seed Bomb + SP kill Corphish. Bullet Seed is good too.

If SD on the switch :

+2 196+ Atk Corphish Knock Off vs. 156 HP / 196+ Def Cacnea: 12-15 (52.1 - 65.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

He take a hit easily. and Seed Bomb + Sucker Punch are still decisive.

The advantage of Cacnea is that he can take randoms Superpower versions of Corphish SD.
