Calm Nature

This is a set based on bulky ninetails and how it could be used.
Good thing its attack and spa are the same
And that base 100 helps a ton

This set beats Lickilicky just like the shitty Choice Band set does and is not terrible overall. This works very well against fucking Stun Spore Tangela and it helps against death foddering immensely. After 2 CM you set up on Pelipper quite easily blablabla fuck status blablabla you avoid Kecleon Sucker Punch

damn galbia took the lord set. Here is my innovation

Ninetales @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Overheat
- Energy Ball
- FIre Blast
- Psyshock
Here is what i call innovation. Ninetales sits at a really nice speed tier, so with choice scarf it can outspeed threats such as +2 Regice, +2 Barbaracle, Adamant scarf tauros, +2 wrath, etc and 81 special attack is quite decent with its special movepool. This set allows it to revenge kill said pokes, which are really annoying to offensive teams. I like this set because of its surprise factor, as when the opp sees no lo, they assume Passho or even shuca berry, and often they might go to something like tauros or sneasel to revenge kill, which then get hit hard by Fire Blast. Ninetales also makes an awesome late game cleaner, as Fire Blast is really strong. Flamethrower can be used, but you can really feel the added strength of fire blast.
252 SpA Ninetales Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Tauros: 231-273 (79.3 - 93.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Ninetales Overheat vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Raichu: 186-219 (71.2 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
(fire blast does over 60 to both of them)
Ninetales also has the type advantage over severall faster pokes like scyther, sneasel and jumpluff

Ninetales @ Leftovers

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Disable
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball / Toxic

Ah, everyone is running the Substitute sets as the next best thing, but what happens when you come against something with a super effective move? How are you supposed to end up behind a sub and force the opponent out? Well have no fear! Disable is here! Set up a Substitute on the switch, watch as the opponent reveals there super effective move AND THEN BAM! hit em with that disable! Then proceed to either use your coverage moves or use Toxic to wittle down the opposing team and be a general nuisance. No one will be expecting it the first time around, but be careful if you have to bring it in the second time as a good opponent will predict the disable and switch moves.

Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Toxic

Ninetales is your lovely every day Fire counter, switches into Fire attacks for days, sets up a sub, proceeds to Toxic stall everything with its lovely 100 base speed. Flamethrower ensures that Roselia and Metang can't dick around and ruin your fun. No real leeway with item/moveslots there but you can play around with your speed EVs to have more special bulk if you like. Takes advantage of Misdreavus, Leafeon, Ninetales, Roselia to an extent, Scyther, Regice, Tangela, and Gourgeist among others. Requires far more support than normal Ninetales with hazard removal as it won't be sweeping teams like NP Ninetales does.

Resist berries make sets look legit. Passho tales is great for living hits from Carracosta, Poliwrath, and Simipour, it even lets it set up on pelipper. It can do stupid shit like live a torrent surf from unbootsted Simipour after rocks and take aqua jets from carracosta and kill with energy ball. With no SR, the only water move it can't take is a torrent boosted surf/hydro pump from Simipour

Hate to be that guy, but Passho Berry is a main slash on the analysis and is "the best thing" so to say.

Ninetales @ Heat Rock / Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sunny Day
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Nasty Plot / Hidden Power Rock

Although Ninetales would love to roam free in PU with its hidden ability of Drought, sadly thats not the case. Ninetales however can still run Sunny Day to help itself out as well as its teammates on a sun team tho other Pokemon such as Volbeat and Carbink are preferred as main sun setters. Fire Blast in the sun hits extremely hard with Solarbeam benefitting from the sun as well skipping the charge turn and blasting Water- and Ground-types (although most won't survive Energy Ball anyway). Nasty Plot increases Ninetales' Special Attack to allow it to hit even harder although Hidden Power Rock can be run over Nasty Plot as a mean to hit other Fire-types such as other Ninetales and Flareon. In this case, Life Orb is preferred as it guarentees a 2HKO on opposing Ninetales and non-specially defensive Flareon after Stealth Rock. Also keep in mind if running Hidden Power Rock that Ninetales needs 30 IVs in Speed, so you can't speed tie with opposing Ninetales.

I'm sorry, but how exactly does this set beat Lickilicky? Body Slam is a 3HKO on Ninetales and Ninetales needs 3 calm minds before it can even think about 2HKOing Licky

- Nasty Plot / Psyshock

Use Hypnosis to take out a "counter" and then set up on it or give your teammates a free chance to set up. Hypnosis has bad accuracy but with high Speed Ninetales can easily put its checks or counters to sleep. As a bonus you get to force even more switches which means more free hits / hazard damage / nasty plots

Ninetales @ Choice Band
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Zen Headbutt
- Iron Tail
- Double Edge/Quick Attack

Poliwrath is your switch in? Zen headbutt. Piloswine? Iron tail. Grumpig? Git double edged. This set is designed to lure and cripple common switch ins and sweep with another mon (Simisear could be cool). Once the band is revealed, ninetales is still far from unusable, with good speed and a useable base 76 attack. For the last slot, double edge guarantees the 2hko on grumpig but flare blitz already does 40-47%, so you could just quick attack for muh priority.
252 Atk Choice Band Ninetales Zen Headbutt vs. 164 HP / 0 Def Poliwrath: 192-226 (53 - 62.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Ninetales Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Piloswine: 184-218 (45.5 - 53.9%) -- 45.3% chance to 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Ninetales Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Grumpig: 195-230 (53.5 - 63.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Ninetales Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Misdreavus: 207-244 (63.8 - 75.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Ninetales Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Throh: 235-277 (52.9 - 62.3%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Ninetales Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Lickilicky: 214-253 (50.4 - 59.6%) -- 83.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

This was originally meant to be a joke to make up for that passho berry post, but this thing can 2hko every regular switch in after rocks other than prinplup (Carracosta walls it but who switches defensive carracosta into a ninetales). Still a good pic tho

eh, CM Sub is underwhelming compared to just a straight up Nasty Plot.
