- Psyshock hits special walls such as Lickilicky hard, while also being a strong STAB move in general.
- Dazzling Gleam is another strong STAB move that gets perfect neutral coverage alongside Psyshock on everything except the rare Steel-types.
- Encore is used to get setup opportunities by locking Pokemon into moves such as Protect, Dragon-type moves, and Fighting-type moves
- Healing Wish gives Mr. Mime a ton of utility by letting it restore a weakened teammate to full health.
