Can't you just delete the update, clone and then download it again to go online?

You need to update the 3DS firmware to update the games... meeeh...

No. Game update requires you to system update. System update is irreversible.

You can't delete/downgrade 3DS firmware updates, and you need the latest 3DS firmware to download anything.

Since I have no idea where to toss these questions:

1) Does Fire Spin work in Rotations? ie, foe and/or user rotate out, then rotate back in. Still takes residual damage/trap effect? Attract breaks upon rotatng, is why I ask.

Just use the search function to look for Pokemon and you'll find the updates. They're the same icon as the games, but with 1.3 for ORAS and 1.4 for XY (iirc) at the bottom.
