Timid Nature

Misdreavus can switch into whatever Golem may be packing, and then Burn it with Will-O-Wisp, then wear it down gradually with the burn damage and Shadow Ball, while recovering lost health with Pain Split. Golem needs to hit Rock Blast five times twice, in order to beat Misdreavus, and will never be able to win because it's slower.

+2 252+ Atk Golem Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Poliwrath: 253-298 (65.8 - 77.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Without the WP boost Golem can't 3HKO Poliwrath after factoring in Leftovers, so wrath can easily switch in, burn its WP by phazing it with Circle Throw, or just Scald burn through Sturdy and then rest back up. If you accidentally trigger WP with another mon Poliwrath can still take one hit and KO Golem before resting again later on

Duosion is a soft counter.

Duosion @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Psyshock
- Signal Beam
- Calm Mind
- Recover

Duosion switches into any move Golem carries and heals back up, does some damage with Psyshock, uses Calm Mind, etc. It takes around 40% from Earthquake so you have to be very careful, but Duosion is very hard to wear down so it will usually be able to defeat Golem. You really need to watch out for crits though because Duosion has to use Recover a lot.

Anti-Lead Rampardos is a Check.

Rampardos @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 128 Atk / 128 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature

In most situations, Weakness Policy Golem is used as a suicide lead, and so is Rampardos. With the ability Mold Breaker and by using Surf, Rampardos can outspeed and take out Golem before it can even launch a move at it, bar Sucker Punch. Rampardos cannot switch into Golem however, due to Golem's combination of Earthquake and Sucker Punch, although Rampardos could set up Stealth Rock predicting the Sucker Punch and have to rely on predictions from there.

Mr. Mime can safely switch in Fraxure if it's running Taunt, otherwise it is risky as Iron Tail can deal an huge amount of damage. Piloswine @ Eviolite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Spear

Piloswine can switch in on any of Fraxure's moves, even Iron Tail, and not get 2HKOed if it is not set up already. If it is set up, Piloswine can still take a hit and 1HKO Fraxure with a 5-hits Icicle Spear or 2HKO with the combination of a 3-hits Icicle Spear and an Ice Shard. Piloswine's only weakness is his lack of recovery, but at full health Piloswine will always win against a Fraxure. A defensive spread can be run, but 2 3-hits Icicle Spears have to hit to KO (or a 4-hit and Ice Shard).

Rotom-F has the ability to outpace Fraxure, even after a Dragon Dance, and OHKO it with Blizzard if it hits. Rotom-F can always take a single hit from unboosted Fraxure with Rocks on the field at around 75% of its health or higher. Even at +1, Fraxure has no moves that can KO Rotom-F without prior damage, giving it another opportunity to use Blizzard.

Klang will always win against Fraxure if it's not running Taunt. It can set up a Shift Gear, then have a chance to 2HKO it using Gear Grind, pending damage rolls. Fraxure's +1 Low Kick is a 3HKO, so it'll need 2 or more boosts in order to 2HKO it.

The main premise of this set is to completely shut down Fraxure ability to settup freely. When switched directly into a Dragon Dance, it leaves you the option to use priority encore and U-Turn to gain instant momentum or even twave to slow whatever comes in right down. Roost is for that scenario where the opponent locks himself into outrage. You can spam roost until he becomes confused, and induce him with parafusion or even make an appropriate U-Turn out. It's also Cute, if that counts *-*

+2 252 Atk Mold Breaker Fraxure Dragon Claw vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Quilladin: 121-144 (37.1 - 44.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

What a joke. Quilladin can take any attack Fraxure wants to throw out and do whatever it wants. Easily heal off the damage and Roar out the threat. Quilladin even has time to set up Spikes in Fraxure's face. The only problem comes into play if Fraxure is running Taunt, then Quilladin no longer counters...but since the primary is Iron Tail in the set I will go with the counter ruling. But if there is Taunt then the increasingly-popular Clefairy wins hands-down so I would expect Iron Tail more.

Rapidash always outspeeds nonscarf variants and kills with Flare Blitz. Pretty simple, but those are the best kind of checks.
