Alright so me and Blast have been in the kitchen cooking up some mad heat and blue ribbon recipes that we are gonna drop on this right here cookbook. There's gonna be a lot of classic dishes but also some fresh new innovative stuff that really pushes the boundaries so if you can't handle the heat get the fuck out of our kitchen. Out here we only be using the realest shit and freshest ingredients so you can already bet that the stuff we make is fucking on point as hell. We may be chefs but we also janitors cause we sweep floors with niggas, keepin our kitchen hella clean. Today, we tear down the walls and show you what true beauty looks like.

On a more serious note me and Dat Blast will begin to start dropping teams here hopefully on the regular (at least once every 2 days) and some days we may even drop two or three. We are using this thread for three reasons. The first is as a team storage for ourselves as well as supplying others with well constructed meta-relevant teams. The second is in order to get traffic on our teams, open discussion, and get critiques. At the end of the day we are only two people, and we can't find all the flaws in a glance so by having the community as a whole play and test we can readily tweak them to maximum efficiency. The third is to flex our creative muscles as we sometimes get bored and having a spark of inspiration from others can help to start a new team. We invite everybody to try our teams and openly discuss their strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and liabilities. This is not a team request thread. If you PM us we may build a team around your request / give you permission to post the request, but we just dont want 700 requests flooding our humble abode.

With that said get your ovens preheated to 420º, oil up your grills, and sharpen your knives cause a fire is ablazin.

Choice Specs Mothim Bulky Offense
The famed team itself. Choice Specs Mothim is a super underrated wallbreaker that capitalizes on tons of slow NU mons and when given the correct support has literally 0 switchins. Between Healing Wish + Defog Mothim can be played pretty aggressively with Sawk and Rhydon cleaning late game. Destiny Bond Cactus is also really underrated as it can surprise kill a lot of stuff like Gurdurr who otherwise threatens the team. Physical Mesprit is although less popular still fun to play around with having a really strong U-Turn while threatening with flinches. The only real problem this team has is Lilli but if you play Cacturne and Sawk well you should be fine.

Swords Dance Sandslash + Fletchinder Offense (OUTDATED)
I've been hyping this core a lot, I originally was trying to build around Fletch and found Sandslash to be a amazing and underrated partner for it. They break each others walls and pick up sweeps after one another. Gurdurr is also really underused in a tier where Sneasel and Klinklang are so rampant, really cool pivot. Although I love endeavor Grass Knot is really necessary on Barbaracle to secure kills on Quagsire. The team also features Pursuit Tauros, which while doesn't necessarily have as much sweeping potential as its Fire Blast and Substitute counterparts, traps fleeing ghost types to help Sandslash spin more easily.

SmashKoal Hyper Offense
SmashKoal is so underrated right now but its really unexpectedly strong with a relatively unresisted STAB, getting off spins surprisngly reliably. Its bulk also helps it weather hits from common priority in the meta for revenge kills, making it p hard to stop.Scyther + Jynx is a pretty amazing core because Scyther forces out a lot of stuff and gets Jynx free switchins to spam powerful coverage and a 0 drawback sleep. Swords Dance Mawile is a really throwback set that has fallen into the background for no reason, but its insane STABs backed by sheer force is no joke, toughing through any wall in NU. No Guard Golurk is also just great because DPunch is honestly so spammable its hilarious, AV Yama cause this is a brawlfest team.

Drifblim + Spikes Stacking Balance (OUTDATED)
Drifblim has always been one of my favorite pokemon to use on spikes stacking reasons. With a high speed, high powered acrobatics, it easily cleans unprepared teams with the help of hazards down on the field. Furthermore, its great typing and a fast destiny bond can ward off rapid spinners and keep them out. It also tears through grass and fighting types, making Carracosta stupidly easy to set up and sweep with. Outside of that the team is pretty standard, although TWave supporter offensive CM Uxie is a really powerful baitmon who can cripple threatening physical dark types. Circle Throw Kangaskhan on any spikes team is pretty much god but if you aren't real use Drain Punch I guess.

Coil Arbok + LO Floatzel Offense
This is really kind of team that I like building. I was really attracted to Arbok who finds many setup opportunities against intimidated fighting types, Mega Audino, and bulky grasses, (Shuca is still useful to tank a unexpected EQ), making it really easy to set up and sweep. Floatzel pressures opposing offensive teams with its high speed and great coverage, capitalizing on the switches it forces with Baton pass to bring teammates in safely. Pawniard + Kangaskhan is really just classic, no explaining necessary. This Rotom is just my standard EBelt variant which can help to bluff Scarf to burn / HP Grass a random pokemon. SashChops helps stop hazards early on while being a great pokemon to save late for endeavor to nab a kill.

Munchlax Stall
I believe the base of this team was built with Punchshroom
The team features some of my favorite stall pokemon including Rest + Heal Bell Granbull and Curse Munchlax. Curse Munchlax and CM Xatu pretty much set up on the entire tier, one against common phys attackers like Sawk and Sandslash, while the other on stuff like CM Xatu and Aurorus. Monferno is honestly an excellent gluemon, taking 0 from stuff like Lilligant / Cacturne, beating counters like Mantine and Quagsire 1v1, and breaking opposing stall. Cradily is a really niche Rocker that isn't for teams, but it does a great job holding off special water types and getting a good matchup on other rockers. I prefer Giga Drain on Xatu to pressure opposing Quagsire and rockers, and I already have Quagsire to deal with steels who attempt to set up.

Topsy Turvy Malamar Balance
Alright this team features a lot of threats I've been meaning to use for a while. Offensive SR Costa w/ 112 Defense is a great check to a lot of physical sweeper, having good offense while living stuff like 2HKO from +1 Klinklang. Mixed Swellow is something I haven't used in a long time, but its honestly a great mon who has all the benefits of other variants but with the ability to hit physical and special counters (Yama / Donner) at the same time. HP Rock Coba Lilligant to lure in Fletch and KO it. Finally the centerpiece of the team, Topsy-Turvy Malamar is honestly a great mon who beats all bulky sweepers including CM Xatu, other Malamar, and Bulk Up Gurdurr 1v1, pretty much shutting down any sweeper it can tank a hit from.

Hex Haunter Offense
I wanted to build a team around Hex Haunter, an absolute monster. Especially with how easily this team spreads status, its 130 base power stab / using sub to abuse TWave hax allows it to easily 6-0 teams. This team focuses on spreading as much status as possible between Liepard's Priority TWave, Xatu + Ferro's bulky TWaves, and Lanturn + Haunter's burn hax. By doing such Haunter can easily come in and wreck havoc with a 130 BP STAB Hex to completely decimate even bulky walls, which opens a huge window for Gurdurr to bulk up and clean the match. Its weird to play in a method purely to support a single pokemon, but it's incredibly effective and plays very consistently due to the crippling nature of Thunder Wave combined with the broken strength Haunter has against it.

SS Costa + SD Rotter HO
Alright so this team focuses a lot on being able to overwhelm opponents with the combined physical water spam of SS COsta and SD Rotter. Most teams pack only 1-2 physical water checks making it easy to punch through using one while sweeping with the other. If said check is grass i.e. Tangela use Samurott to wear it down with Megahorn, while if the check is Flying i.e. Pelipper then Carracosta should be sent out first. LO Pyroar and EBelt Rotom act as sick special wallbreakers to bait out and kill water checks. Lilligant provides healing wish support to even allow a 3rd sweep with a water type, and with a scarf is a really unexpected cleaner. Physical Claydol is just a cool gluemon for SR and Rapid Spin.

Future Sight Musharna DarkSpam
I've been seeing a lot of Darkspam teams floating around, but my flagship version has a little twist. Future Sight Musharna. Not only is it a amazing fighting check who can repeatedly switch in with its massive bulk, but furthermore its insanely powerful Future Sight can help to support its Dark type teammates turns later, securing a safe setup opportunity, or a kill otherwise impossible. Outside of that the team is pretty standard, Rocky Helmet Offensive SR Costa to check physical sweepers like Klinklang, Scarf Haunter as a kill button, and the standard triple dark core (w/ tanga liepard explained above). You could probs use SD Shiftry as another sweeper, but hazards scare me and I love leaf storm.

MiniHail w/ Safety Goggles Sawk
Semi-Hail is a really awesome meta right now because of its ability to focus BlizzSpam around two pokemon while having 4 Filler to do whatever it wants. My version focuses on supporting Jynx, who especially stacked with Specs Aurorus has like 0 solid counters. Non-Choice Sawk with Safety Goggles imo is the best mon on hail rn, because it makes for a great revenge killer while being able to poke holes in Rock and Steel type checks. CB Pursuit on Dusknoir is really useful for trapping bulky mons to support the ice spam, while its powerful Earthquake has great synergy with the rest of the team. Prinplup and Lanturn form a great backbone glue for the team to defensively check steel and fire type threats.

Articuno Bulky Offense
Articuno is a pokemon I've wanted to build around for a very long time. Sitting at a base 85 speed, packing high special attack and a powerful 120 BP STAB, and having Substitute + Pressure + Great bulk, its a monster that can tear apart offensive and defensive teams alike. Shiftry synergizes really well with it, pulling through rock types which pressure it while clearing the field of hazards. It also happens that Articuno single handedly beats the majority of Double Dance Rhydon's checks, giving it an easy time sweeping. The team was weak to steels, so I added Rotom and Poliwrath as a double layered safety net. Furthermore, Specs Poliwrath + Wallbreaker SR Mawile forms a great wallbreaking core.

Fighting Spam
Ahahaha this team is so fun to use. It's really funny how most teams overprepare for psychic types and pack tons of Dark and Steels especially with the current influx of them in the meta, and most teams only pack like one psychic or fairy type to actually deal with fighters. The fighters are a pretty easy core, arly game you'll mostly be using Poliwrath, while Sawk and Busken tend to clean. This variant of Xatu was chosen to keep physical attackers and SR at bay without losing to Skuntank. RestoChesto Skunk was also chosen because of how much this team relies on it to check Grass, Psychic, and Ghost pokemon, thus its recovery is a huge boon to the team's ability to safely spam fighting type attacks. Offensive Fisk pressures opposing SR users early game while acting as a glue against flying / electric types.

Throh + Hazards Stall
I've always wanted to try throh cause its a really cool phazer and wincon with an insane amount of bulk. I know Knock off is standard for coverage, but I far prefer sleep talk to not be passive for 2 turns because it isnt THAT bulky, plus you can pp stall ghosts. Ferroseed is a pretty standard spiker, giving the hazards Throh needs to sweep. Fast Taunt Weezing is imo the best variant because it helps to beat opposing defensive teams, and holds ground against stuff like Malamar and CM Dino which otherwise outright 6-0 me, just being a awesome glue against stallbreakers. RestoCHesto Mantine is a nice backup Fighting / Fire check. Regirock is my SpDef mandatory Fire Check and SR setter, but imo is better than rhydon because its less susceptible to HP coverage. Avalugg is just a dick to physical mons.

Specs Regice Bulky Offense
Specs Regice is a monster who makes for a great wallbreaker due to the general lack of Ice Resists in the tier and its great neutral coverage, while being a great glue for offensive teams between its bulk and the ability to cover fast sleepers who often give hell to these types of teams. Rotom + Kadabra act as a great revenge killer / fighting killer core as the rest of my team gets pressured hard by these mons. Golurk is a natural choice for a stealth rocker on this team as it smashes steel types that bother the rest of my team, while not adding to the fighting weakness. Skuntank gives the team a great pivot who can spam priority and defog which is just amazing. Klinklang because I needed a cleaner and this is NU.

Wallbreaker Rampardos Offense
This is probably my favorite team to use right now. Wallbreaker Rampardos is in my opinion the single most underrated pokemon in the metagame, cleanly OHKOing like 90% of switchins and with its insane coverage having 0 hard counters. Especially with the Yellow Magic support from Stun Spore Plume and Lanturn (who both help to keep waters in check for the team), it can easily clean, not even having to worry about its lackluster speed. Its so strong in fact that as long as you can safely get it in I guarantee a kill. Scyther capitalizes on the grasses that come in on rampardos and U-Turns to bring it more swich ins. Claydol is just a great spinner and SR user. Hariyama was a great last minute glue to absorb status and revenge kill, as well as being a great check to darkspam which annoys the team.

Baton Pass Floatzel Bulky Offense
Bulk Up Floatzel is one of those mons that is super underrated but is surprsingly good. It makes all the defensive checks to special Floatzel look like a joke. If it passes to Scyther or Archeops, they can pretty much bodybag the rest of the team, especially with floatzel stopping burn attempts and rocks / ferroseed at worst. Fast Garbodor is a cool early pass from Floatzel to stop defoggers and Xatu from safely coming it at all and getting up tons of hazards, as well as having a stupid strong boom at +2. Mega Audino is a great physical wall wallbreaker and hwisher that also helps to absorb some dark type moves from stuff like Liepard and heal another life. Torterra is just a cool rocker with a great matchup against almost every other lead and a cool way to break down bulky waters.

This team is just about as standard as you can get in this meta but I'm mostly posting it since I think it's a better version of the build with Gallade in it. I'm running Ferroseed + Gurdurr + CB Flareon over Mawile + Gallade + filler, which gives me a much stronger matchup against stuff like Kabutops, Kangaskhan, Klinklang, and other things. The defensive core of Lanturn / Xatu / Ferroseed also focuses heavily on broken ass paralysis, which works great with CB Flareon and pressures fast setup sweepers and stops them from cleaning my team.

This team showcases a lot of neat sets in NU that I wanted to try out. The main thing featured here is Custap Berry Sawk, which actually comes in handy pretty often and is great to bluff a Choice item. Taunt also helps to break down fatter cores that Sawk can struggle with without Choice Band. I also really wanted to use Spell Tag Rotom, since I'd seen it used a lot in the past and heard a lot of good things about it, and while Sneasel spam isn't terribly kind to it, it still does its job quite well which is to pivot and weaken a lot of threats. I built the rest of the team around the core of those two and standard Fletchinder, with a few other interesting sets among those as well such as Taunt Electivire which gives me a soft Electric immunity and extra holepuncher, Signal Beam Prinplup to lure Cacturne and provide crucial Defog and SR support, and Toxic Klinklang, which is a set I took from Chef Rice as a way to whittle down Quagsire for Fletchinder.

I'm going to have to UN-reserve THIS post......

ok but smashkoal team looks sick I've wanted to build with it for a while, props on some good stuff :) new team archives are great for new players

This is so awesome guys! The teams look super cool so keep cooking up some shit. I would like to see some replays to give these dishes some extra kick. That helps terrible players like myself get more of an idea of how to properly play these teams.

Volt-turn + Lapras Trapping Offense

Back in 5th gen and early 6th gen, there was a nu threat called gothorita that could destroy your wall cores with either trick + specs/scarf, or calm mind. With shadow tag, you could not switch out, and your alomomola couldnt pass around hp willy-nilly anymore. Lapras is a fine alternative with block, which prevents pokemon from switching. With dragon dance to increase attack and speed to make sure it is not revenge killed, waterfall to at the least try to flinch those that can live a +6 hit and rest to soak of status/damage, this thing is pretty much unstoppable given the opportunity. Ive maxed out the defenses, as it already has a high hp stat, but you can determine an ideal spread if you want. Shell armor prevents any crits and give your enemy a false sense of hope, which is always preferred. From here, I wanted to build a team around tauros in the rare occasion lapras doesnt sweep (who runs trick scarf claydol?). CB Xatu really throws people off guard and is a great momentum grabber (also somewhat prevents hazards). Lanturn to sponge special hits. rotom-s as a fast momentum grabber and another trick user, with hp grass, though quagsire is really not a problem for this team lol. Tauros because imo might be the best mon in nu rn. Also went with adamant because honestly speed tie archeops (which golurk/ rotom can handle) and outspeeding pyroar (handled by lanturn) are the only important things to worry about. Golurk for rocks and hits stuff really hard with shadow punch, and either eq on audino + heavy slam on mega audino, or 2 heavy slams on mega audino kills. Speed is for 0 speed malamar and some lanturns, but you can change the berry and speed to whatever you want since sneasel is gone.

Thank you sous chef Shuckleking87

I would like to make a note that this is NOT A TEAM DUMP FOR EVERYBODY. Unless you get a team approved by me & dat blast for posting like SKing did, your post will be deleted if you post a team.

Remember bois DD Lapras isnt a threat because YOU CAN USE IT 2

That Minihail team&Articuno one look really fun. Does the hail team have any issues with opposing Lanturns? I seeing someone a while back propose Whirlpool on AV Lant because you can trap and outdamage other ones through lefties recovery.

Also Tauros+Coilpass is cancer, this thread is terminal.

I mean Lanturn gets EP'd by Aurorus, EQ'd By Dusknoir, takes major damage from Sawk and is pressured p hard by Lovely Kiss + Psyshock. Furthermore, with Hail up it's always taking even more passive damage, so it honestly isn't that big a threat.

Yeah this thread is bad Chemotherapy seems to be the only option.
