General Kenobi
Note - this set is another support set, so it'll be up to the rest of QC to decide whether to merge this into the current support set, replace it or keep it as a new set.
[SET]
name: Stealth Rock
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Judgment
move 3: Toxic
move 4: Recover
item: Pixie Plate
ability: Multitype
nature: Bold
evs: 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 Spe
[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
- SR because Fairyceus is very reliable at setting it up
- Judgment to roflstomp Mega Sableye, and it also checks Mega Salamence, Lati@s and other Dragons
- Toxic is so you're not completely Primal Groudon bait, while keeping pressure on the Defoggers are invariably used with Magic Bouncers
- Recover for recovery
Set Details
========
- Fairyceus beats most Pokemon used for hazard support apart from the Rapid Spinners which can usually can be dealt with through traditional Spin-blocking - this thing piles on all sorts of pressure onto those Mega Sab + Waterceus cores
- Handily beats Mega Sab, beats Mega Diancie unless it's something random like CM
- Beats most Defog users apart from like rare things like Skarm or Steel/Poisonceus (Lati@s, Mega Mence and Gira-O you have type advantage and other Defog Arceuses you can pressure with Toxic)
- Still checks everything Fairyceus normally checks - Ygod, Darkrai, Latis, Mega Mence, Gira, Ray, Palk
Usage Tips
========
- EVs let you outspeed Adamant Rayquaza, rest in Defense to best check Mega Mence
- Isn't much to say when using this, really - set up SR and check threats
- Fairyceus is pretty hazard bait itself, unfortunately, so make sure you give less chances for Spikers to come in by double switching to things that threaten them
- Make sure you play carefully if you see S-tag on the opponents team - double switch often to your Pursuit user
- Set up SR as often as possible, Toxic their Defog user. You can even Toxic Ho-oh and tank SF/BB if you really need to
Team Options
========
- Your own hazard control for when Klefki and shit switch into Fairyceus for free - Gira-O, Latios and Mega Mence synergise well with Fairyceus as they can switch into P Donner, while Fairyceus can switch into Dark (in case of Gira) and Dragon moves; Excadrill is also good because it works well with TTar, a good teammate for Arc-Fairy
- Spinblocking for Excadrill/Forre - Gira-O is basically your only option here (or Gengar), fortunately Gira-O fits well anyway.
- Pursuit is very important or you'd just get Fairyceus raped by Mega Gengars - Tyranitar does this very well since it can check Ho-oh and Pursuit Mega Gengar in the same slot
- Ho-oh, Dialga and P Groudon are both good deterrents for a lot of Spikers that switch into Fairyceus
- As mentioned already, TTar is a good switch-in for Ho-oh. P Ogre is not bad either
