[OVERVIEW]

Electric
======

* Alolan Raichu greatly makes use of Electric Terrain, which gives its Electric-type moves increased power, and thanks to its ability Surge Surfer, it is the most efficient sweeper on an Electric team and is able to outspeed nearly every Pokemon in the metagame, including notable fast threats like Sand Rush Excadrill and Swift Swim Kingdra.
* Its unique secondary Psychic-typing allows it to hit key threats, most notably Mega Venusaur, which Electric-type teams usually have trouble with. It also helps in the matchup against Fighting and Poison.
* It has good coverage options in Focus Blast, Hidden Power Ice, Surf, and Grass Knot, allowing it to hit Ground-types like Excadrill, Hippowdon, Gliscor, Landorus, and Gastrodon, making it an effective way for Electric-type teams to handle Ground-type teams.
* However, Alolan Raichu's bulk is very underwhelming, and it is susceptible to priority moves.
* Its typing does not help defensively with an Electric team's weakness to Ground-types, and its Psychic-typing only adds to its weaknesses as well as making it vulnerable to Pursuit.
* Its Special Attack is not something to write home about and is predominantly useful only under Electric Terrain.
* Its reliance on Electric Terrain being active puts its sweep on a timer.

Moves
========

* Thunderbolt is Alolan Raichu's main STAB move and hits pretty hard under the effect of Electric Terrain.
* Psychic is its secondary STAB move and has good coverage alongside Thunderbolt. It hits Kommo-o, Nidoking, Lanturn, and especially Mega Venusaur that can't be hit for much by Thunderbolt.
* Focus Blast lets Alolan Raichu hit Steel- and Rock-types likes Excadrill, Magnezone, Ferrothorn, Tyranitar, and Cradily for super effective damage.
* Grass Knot is a coverage move that lets it hit Ground-types for super effective damage, namely Gastrodon, Seismitoad, and Hippowdon, being able to 2HKO all of them aside from Seismitoad, which is OHKOed.
* Hidden Power Ice is an optional coverage move to use over Grass Knot; it lets Alolan Raichu hit Ground-types that are hit neutrally by Grass Knot like Gliscor, Landorus, and Garchomp for super effective damage, hitting them much harder than Grass Knot would.
* Surf can be used, as it allows Alolan Raichu to hit Ground-types more consistently and Alolan Marowak for super effective damage. It has a chance to OHKO Alolan Marowak when using a Choice Specs and will always OHKO it after Stealth Rock damage when using a Life Orb.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed lets it be as fast and powerful as possible.
* A Modest nature is used to maximize Alolan Raichu's Special Attack.
* Surge Surfer doubles Alolan Raichu's Speed under Electric Terrain, letting it outspeed nearly the entire metagame, including notable weather sweepers and Choice Scarf users such as Excadrill, Kingdra, and Victini.
* A Life Orb is used to slightly increase its damage output, making up for its lackluster Special Attack. It allows Alolan Raichu to KO Tyranitar with Thunderbolt followed by Focus Blast, as otherwise, it is easily Pursuit trapped. It also lets Alolan Raichu KO offensive Heatran with Focus Blast after Stealth Rock damage.
* A Choice Specs may be used in order to further increase its Special Attack. Although this may leave Alolan Raichu locked into a move, it grants a significant boost in power; for example, it lets Alolan Raichu almost always 2HKO Assault Vest Magearna in Electric Terrain. It is worth noting that being locked into a move can affect Alolan Raichu's sweep.
* When using a Life Orb, 29 IVs in HP minimize Life Orb recoil.

Usage Tips
========

* Alolan Raichu's sole purpose is to sweep with the help of Electric Terrain.
* Because it's usefulness is highly dependent on Electric Terrain, it is worth noting that sending it out while Electric Terrain is absent should be avoided, as its offensive presence in the absence of Electric Terrain is nothing to write home about.
* Outside of Electric Terrain, Alolan Raichu is also prone to being outsped by the many Choice Scarf users, weather sweepers, and naturally fast Pokemon present in the metagame.
* It handles many of Electric-type teams' threats, namely Mega Venusaur, Choice Scarf users like Landorus-T and Mold Breaker Excadrill, and weather sweepers like Sand Rush Excadrill and Swift Swim Kingdra.
* Avoid sending Alolan Raichu in against entry hazards as well as keeping it in against a Pokemon with a priority move like Mamoswine and Diggersby, as it becomes very easy to revenge kill with priority after repeated chip damage from Life Orb or Stealth Rock.
* Thunderbolt should be spammed as much as possible unless the target resists it, is immune to it, or is hit harder by Psychic. A neutral Thunderbolt in Electric Terrain does more than a super effective coverage move.
* Psychic should be used against Grass- and Electric-types that don't resist it, notably Mega Venusaur. It should also be used against Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type moves, such as Lanturn, Thundurus-T, and Alolan Marowak.
* Avoid direct confrontations with Pursuit trappers like Tyranitar at full health and Alolan Muk, which always win in a face off against Alolan Raichu. Also, avoid attempting to get a KO with Alolan Raichu if a Pursuit trappers still exists on the opponent's team; if Alolan Raichu gets a KO, there is a good chance of it being trapped and KOed by Pursuit.
* As Alolan Raichu is essential against Ground-type teams due to its coverage and ability to outspeed Sand Rush Excadrill, it should be used late-game against Ground-type teams. In order to guarantee a sweep, previous damage on Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon is needed before sending in Alolan Raichu because of its lackluster power without being able to spam Thunderbolt.

Team Options
========

* Tapu Koko is an essential teammate for Alolan Raichu. Tapu Koko sets Electric Terrain upon switchin thanks to its ability Electric Surge, and its access to Dazzling Gleam lets it check Dragon- and Dark-types like Latios and Hydreigon, while its access to Taunt discourages stall and prevents the opponent from spamming a recovery move against Alolan Raichu.
* Zapdos acts as a Ground-immunity and a special tank, switching into the likes of Latios and Latias, which Alolan Raichu cannot handle. It also clears away entry hazards with Defog and threatens Steel-types like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Heat Wave.
* Alolan Golem is able to set up Stealth Rock, negating Focus Sash and Sturdy as well as breaking Dragonite's Multiscale. It is also able to threaten specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Alolan Muk on its own, making it easier for Alolan Raichu to sweep.
* Xurkitree is another sweeper that makes use of its coverage options; with access to Energy Ball, it is able to wear down checks that it shares with Alolan Raichu, and with Tail Glow, it is able to break special walls like Chansey that give Alolan Raichu trouble.
* Magnezone is able to trap and take out Steel-types like Ferrothorn and also helps a lot against Grass-type teams, as they usually lack switch-ins to Magnezone. Magnezone is able to wear down the defensive core on Grass teams, paving the way for Alolan Raichu to later sweep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Electric
--------
* Psyshock may be used to hit specially defensive Pokemon like Dragalge on their weaker defensive side; however, Psychic is usually the better option, as it helps against defensive Mega Venusaur.
* Volt Switch may be used on the set as well, allowing it to pivot out on the last turn of Electric Terrain, but this comes at the cost of a coverage move and is generally not worth using.
* A Timid nature may be used to utilize Alolan Raichu's high Speed even outside of Electric Terrain; however, Alolan Raichu is rarely used outside of Electric Terrain, and the small increase in Speed with a Timid nature does not justify using it over the additional power from a Modest nature.

Checks and Counters
===================

Electric
-------
**Alolan Muk**: Assault Vest Alolan Muk is a huge threat to Alolan Raichu and can consistently counter it, as it takes minimal damage from Alolan Raichu's attacks and threatens to KO in return with Knock Off. It also prevents Alolan Raichu from switching out with Pursuit and prevents Alolan Raichu from doing its job of beating Mega Venusaur.

**Trappers**: Due to Alolan Raichu's bad bulk, it is prone to being Pursuit trapped by a plethora Pursuit trappers. Mega Aerodactyl and Tyranitar can Pursuit trap Alolan Raichu given a safe chance to switch in, while Dugtrio prevents it from switching out and can KO it with Sucker Punch or Earthquake.

**Chansey**: Chansey completely walls any Alolan Raichu thanks to its monstrous Special Defense and access to reliable recovery in Soft Boiled or Wish.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mew and Jirachi are able to survive any of Alolan Raichu's attacks and may retaliate by slowly wearing it down.

**Revenge Killers**: Alolan Raichu is heavily prone to being revenge killed by priority moves. Its typing only grants it a resistance to Vacuum Wave and Mach Punch, and it is easily KOed by common priority moves such as Azumarill's Aqua Jet, Dragonite's Extreme Speed, Mimikyu's Shadow Sneak, and Bisharp's Sucker Punch. It is also threatened by faster Pokemon in the absence of Electric Terrain, such as Weavile and Choice Scarf Excadrill.

**Electric-immune Pokemon**: Alolan Raichu relies heavily on Thunderbolt and Electric Terrain in order to deal significant damage. Due to this, Pokemon like Alolan Marowak and Lanturn are able to check it, as they force Alolan Raichu to rely on its weaker coverage moves in order to hit them.

[OVERVIEW]

* Alolan Raichu is the best abuser of Electric Terrain, and thanks to its ability Surge Surfer, which allows it to outspeed nearly every Pokemon in the metagame. Following speed tiers, there are quite a few Pokemon that outspeed Modest spreads and even Timid spreads.
* Its signature ability Surge Surfer doubles its Speed in Electric Terrain.
* Its unique secondary Psychic-typing allows it to hit key threats, the most notable one being Mega Venusaur, which Electric-type teams usually have trouble with. Why do Electric-type teams have trouble with Mega Venusaur? How does Psychic-typing change different matchups for Electric, such as Fighting and Poison?
* It has good coverage options in Surf, Grass Knot, and Focus Blast, allowing it to hit Ground-types like Excadrill, Hippowdon, Gliscor, Landorus, and Gastrodon, making it an effective way for Electric-type teams to handle Ground-type teams. Rearrange coverage options to follow the set's order. It should be noted somewhere that, other than Focus Blast on Excadrill, none of these moves are guaranteed OHKOs with Life Orb, while they can all OHKO Raichu back.
* It is able to hit Steel-types that trouble Electric-type teams, namely Ferrothorn and Magnezone, for super effective damage with Focus Blast. Add Excadrill.
* However, Alolan Raichu's bulk is very underwhelming, and is threatened by priority very much. making it very susceptible to priority.
* Its typing does not help defensively with the team's weakness to Ground-types, and its Psychic-typing only adds to its weaknesses, making it vulnerable to Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, and Pursuit. Not sure why this is important since you're basically saying it has weaknesses to certain types. Scrap the first two clauses, add Shadow Sneak and Sucker Punch to the previous sentence as examples, and say that Alolan Raichu is threatened by Pursuit trapping.
* Its Special Attack is not something to write home about, and is only predominantly useful under Electric Terrain(AC) which gives its Electric-type moves a 50% damage increase.

A lot of sentences start with 'It/Its' which is annoyingly repetitive, so change up sentence structures.

Moves
========

* Thunderbolt is its Alolan Raichu's main STAB move, and although it's its Special Attack is not the best in the world, Thunderbolt hits pretty hard under the effects to of Electric Terrain.
* Grass Knot is a coverage move that lets it hit Ground-types for super effective damage, namely Gastrodon, Seismitoad, and Hippowdon, being able to 2HKO all of them.
* Hidden Power Ice is an optional coverage move to use over Grass Knot. This lets Alolan Raichu to hit Ground-types Pokemon like Gliscor, Landorus, and Garchomp for super effective damage, hitting them much harder than Grass Knot would. The sentence is structured oddly making it sound weird. You should just break it up into two sentences. Dragon-types? Grass-types?
* Psychic is its secondary STAB move, and let's it hit the likes of Mega Venusaur for super effective damage. Move this in front of Grass Knot.
* Focus Blast lets Alolan Raichu hit the likes of Excadrill, Magnezone, and Ferrothorn for super effective damage. It also lets it hit Dark-types like Tyranitar for super effective damage. Normal-types? Rock-types, such as Cradily?
* Surf allows Alolan Raichu to hit Ground-types more consistently, but most notably, it gives it a way of hitting Alolan Marowak, which would otherwise wall it entirely. I think Surf isn't comparable to how necessary having Focus Blast is, and it should probably be put in OO. Alolan Marowak can be a threat, yes, but Psychic 2HKOs it and Alolan Marowak isn't a mon that Electric can't handle with Rotom-W.

Using 'hit the likes of' and 'like' a lot here. Try to change the grammar up and give examples by type if you're listing a large amount of them.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed lets it be as fast and hit as hard as possible.
* A Modest nature maximises maximizes Alolan Raichu's Special Attack, and since it would most likely only be used under Electric Terrain, the decrease in Speed from not running a Timid nature would not affect it much. Running Modest makes Alolan Raichu be outsped by +2 Mega Zard X, +2 Neutral Scolipede, Rock Polish Landorus, and +2 Mega Sharpedo, all of which are notable threats to Electric teams.
* However, a Timid nature may be used so as to allow it to be as fast as possible even outside of Electric Terrain, allowing it to outspeed Cobalion and Keldeo and speed-tie with Mega Metagross. Move this above Modest. Timid is used more often than Modest for the above reason and because it doesn't change any notable KOs. This also speed ties with the Lati twins and Gengar. Modest also is outsped by max invest +natured base 96 (Mimikyu) and up when not under terrain which is a huge loss in speed tier. It might also be a good idea to move Modest to OO.
* Surge Surfer doubles Alolan Raichu's Speed under Electric Terrain, letting it outspeed nearly the entire metagame, including notable weather sweepers and Choice Scarf users such as Excadrill, Kingdra, and Victini.
* A Life Orb may be used to slightly increase the damage output on its coverage moves. Say something more like "boosts its overall damage output."
* Alolaraichium Aloraichium Z allows Alolan Raichu to use its signature Z-move Stoked Sparksurfer, a 175 BP move that lets it OHKO most targets that Thunderbolt would not. However, this is a one-time use, and would leave Alolan Raichu effectively timeless for the rest of the battle. 'timeless'? Not that using this over Life Orb reduces your overall damage.
* Note that Life Orb sets should have 29 IVs in HP.

Usage Tips
========

* Alolan Raichu's sole purpose is to sweep with the help of Electric Terrain. It also handles major threats to Electric teams like Mega Venusaur, scarfed Pokemon, weather abusers, etc.
* Although it may be used to revenge kill slower(AC) weakened threats, Alolan Raichu should almost always be used only under Electric Terrain, as otherwise, it would be prone to being revenge killed by Choice Scarf users and weather sweepers.
* Thunderbolt should be spammed as much as possible, unless the target resists resists it, is immune to it, or is hit harder by Psychic another move. Neutral Thunderbolt in Electric Terrain generally does more than a super effective coverage move.
* If running Electrium-Z Aloraichium Z, it is best to not use it if possible unless the target is not OHKOed by Thunderbolt. Using Stoked Sparksurfer should be avoided until the appropriate time. absolutely necessary. You could try to explain when an appropriate time would be, but just saying this is easier.
* Psychic should be used against Grass- and Electric-types that don't resist it, the most notable target being Mega Venusaur. Fighting-types? Poison-types?
* Alolan Muk is a tricky opponent, as it involves mindgames between Shadow Sneak, Knock Off, and Pursuit. Generally, Stoked Sparksurfer would be the best play here, but it helps to have Alolan Muk weakened beforehand. Based off of the common AV Alolan Muk spread, it is really never a good option to try to take on this Pokemon. Stoked Sparksurfer in terrain only does about half and Life Orb Thunderbolt has around a 62% chance of 3HKOing. A better usage tip would be to avoid confrontations with Alolan Muk all together, especially since non-invested Pursuit on switch-out and Knock Off are both OHKOs, Knock Off being around an 81% chance if you're running Z Crystal.
* As Alolan Raichu is essential against Ground-type teams, it should be used late-game against Ground-type teams. In order to guarantee a sweep, previous damage on Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon is recommended needed before sending in Alolan Raichu. Alolan Raichu is also essential against Grass and Poison. Other types could be argued as well.
* Add something about avoiding unneeded damage from hazards, priority, etc. Its frail so it needs to stay healthy.
* Add something about its dependence on terrain.

Team Options
========

* Tapu Koko is an essential teammate for Alolan Raichu. Tapu Koko sets Electric Terrain upon switch-in thanks to it ability Electric Surge, and access to Dazzling Gleam lets it check Dragon- and Dark-types like Garchomp, Latios(AC) and Hydreigon. It's access to Having Taunt discourages stall and prevents the opponent from spamming a recovery move against Alolan Raichu. Examples?
* Zapdos acts as a Ground-immunity and a special tank, switching into the likes of Hyperion Hydreigon and Latios(AC) that which Alolan Raichu cannot handle. It also clears away hazards with Defog and threatens opposing walls, such as Hippowdon and Gastrodon(AC) with Toxic.
* Rotom-W acts as another source of Ground-immunity. It is also a good physically defensive Pokemon what cripples physical attackers like Alolan Muk and Garchomp with Will-O-Wisp, allowing for Alolan Raichu to have a much easier time against them. It also handles Alolan Marowak and Victini with Hydro Pump.
* Alolan Golem is able to set up Stealth Rock, negating Focus Sash and Sturdy as well as Bbreaking Dragonite's Multiscale. It is also able to handle threaten specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Alolan Muk on its own, making it easier for Alolan Raichu to sweep.
* Xurkitree is another sweeper that makes use of its coverage options. With access to Dazzling Gleam and Energy Ball, it helps weaken Dragon- and Ground-type teams that give Alolan Raichu trouble. Gleam also hits Dark-types, big threats to Alolan Raichu.
* Magnezone is able to trap Steel-types like Ferrothorn, taking it out with Hidden Power Fire. It also helps a not against Grass-type teams, as they usually lack switch-ins to Magnezone. Magnezone helps with Grass teams? It does help with Fairy and Rock, however.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A Choice Specs set may be used in order to make up for its lackluster Special Attack stat.; Hhowever, Alolan Raichu appreciates the coverage that it can run, and being locked into one move allows that opponent to easily check it.
* Encore may be used to discourage stall, but it comes at the cost of a coverage move, and is generally not used in most situations.
* Surf
* Nasty Plot
* Psyshock
* Volt Switch
* Modest?

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon like Chansey, Tyranitar, Dragalge, and Alolan Muk are able to survive any of Alolan Raichu's attacks, and may retaliate with their STAB moves or simply by stalling it out(AC) in the case of Chansey. Dragalge is 2HKOed by Psychic, so a different example, such as Goodra, may be better.

**Dragon-types**: Aside from Garchomp(AC) which is dented by Hidden Power Ice, most Dragon-types have no reason to fear Alolan Raichu. Most Dragon-types don't take too much from Hidden Power Ice, and resist all of Alolan Raichu's coverage moves.; Hhowever, Hydreigon has to watch out for Focus Blast.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types Gove give quite a bit of trouble to Alolan Raichu, as it has no way to hit them effectively beyond Psychic. Cradily especially is a hide threat to Alolan Raichu, as it can set up hazards and heal of damage all the while not taking much from Alolan Raichu's attacks. Focus Blast on Life Orb sets has a 77% chance to 2HKO SpD Cradily.

**Pursuit trappers**: Due to Alolan Raichu's bad bulk and typing, it is prone to being Pursuit trapped by a plethora or of Dark-types that are usually able to survive a Thunderbolt. Tyranitar does not take much from Thunderbolt due to its incredible special bulk, and Alolan Muk and Skuntank can threaten it with priority if it chooses to stay in. This should be above Dragon-types. Also, the wording makes it awkward, since you talk about Pursuit trapping first, but then list other topics in the 2nd sentence.

**Priority**: Alolan Raichu is heavily prone to being revenge killed by priority moves. Its typing only grants it a resistance to Breloom's Mach Punch, and It is easily KOed by Azumarill's Aqua Jet, Dragonite's Extreme Speed, Mimikyu's Shadow Sneak, and Bisharp's Sucker Punch. This should be above Dragon-types as well. It also resists Vacuum Wave and Bullet Punch, so just remove the portion about Breloom.

**Alolan Marowak**: Unless it is a Surf variant, Alolan Raichu is completely walled by Alolan Marowak. Alolan Marowak easily finds opportunities to either let out a really power STAB move or to set up hazards. Psychic is a 2HKO, so this is wrong. Move this below Dugtrio or remove.

**Ferrothorn**: Unless it is the Focus Blast variant, Alolan Raichu is easily checked by Ferrothorn. This gives Ferrothorn the opportunity to set up hazards or Leech Seed or to fire off a Power Whip.

**Dugtrio**: Dugtrio is able to trap Alolan Raichu, and being faster than it, is able to threaten it directly with STAB Earthquake. It also usually carries Sucker Punch, and since Alolan Raichu usually only runs attacking moves, it has no way to defend itself. Dugtrio also gets Pursuit, so it effectively completely beats Alolan Raichu. Put this below Pursuit trappers.

**Entry hazards**: Alolan Raichu is prone to being easily worn down by entry hazards. Toxic Spikes, Spikes, and Stealth Rock, combined with the recoiled from Life Orb, hinder its longevity. Sticky Web puts its in range of being outsped by Choice Scarf users.

**Alolan Muk**: This thing should probably have its own point since AV almost always beats Alolan Raichu 1v1.
Overall this is pretty decent. Could use a bit of work with explanations and such.

Hi, am qc.

[SET]

- stab psychic is a lot more important and should be above grass knot / hp ice
- aloraichium z is rarely used and not nearly as viable as life orb or specs. put it in oo and slash specs with life orb

move 2: Psychic
move 3: Grass Knot / Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Focus Blast / Surf
item: Life Orb / Choice Specs
ability: Surge Surfer
nature: Modest / Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Moves:

- alolan marowak doesn't wall it 'entirely', offensive variants get 2hko'd by life orb psychic

Set Details:

- remove electrium z and add choice specs

Usage Tips:

- elaborate on the amuk bullet. as alolan raichu is most electric teams' only way of beating mega venusaur, it is wiser not to bring it in until amuk is gone because of how easily it eats any hit alolan raichu can go for and can proceed to pursuit trap it

Team Options:

- magnezone can also trap an excadrill locked into rock slide, which it tends to go for in an attempt to hit zapdos, making it much easier for alolan raichu to break through steel teams

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options:

- remove choice specs and add electrium z
- remove encore, i have never seen that being used
- mention psyshock to hit spdef walls
- add nasty plot to increase its damage output, although its low bulk makes it hard to set up

Checks and Counters:

- ferrothorn seems kinda unecessary considering you already have a section dedicated to grass-types

Thanks, I'll do a most of these. Back to wip
E: most of the spellings mistakes are because of my auto correct, for example, timeless instead of itemless. I'll try to make sure I don't miss these next time

========

* Thunderbolt is its main STAB move, and although it's Special Attack is not the best in the world, Thunderbolt hits pretty hard under the effect to Electric Terrain.
* Stoked Sparksurfer here, this is important
* Grass Knot is a coverage move that lets it hit Ground-types for super effective damage, namely Gastrodon, Seismitoad, and Hippowdon, being able to 2HKO all of them. It doesn't 2hko all ground types, and if this is referring to the ones listed here 252 SpA Life Orb Raichu-Alola Grass Knot (80 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Seismitoad: 468-551 (133.3 - 156.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO (OHKOs pretty much any amount of bulk invest as well)
* Psychic is its secondary STAB move, and let's it hit the likes of Mega Venusaur for super effective damage.
* Hidden Power Ice is an optional coverage move to use over Grass Knot. This lets Alolan Raichu to hit Ground-types like Gliscor, Landorus, and Garchomp for super effective damage, hitting them much harder than Grass Knot would. Ground types that are nuetral to grass type moves
* Focus Blast lets Alolan Raichu hit the likes of Excadrill, Magnezone, and Ferrothorn for super effective damage. It also lets it hit Rock-types like Tyranitar and Cradily for super effective damage. This is kinda confusing because the way it is written. Change the first "tha likes of" to "steel types such as", or better yet combine both together.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed lets it be as fast and hit as hard as possible.
* A Timid nature is used so as to allow it to be as fast as possible even outside of Electric Terrain, allowing it to outspeed Cobalion and Keldeo and speed-tie with Mega Metagross.

* Surge Surfer doubles Alolan Raichu's Speed under Electric Terrain, letting it outspeed the entire metagame Mega Alakazam and gardevoir exist, as does ditto kinda, including notable weather sweepers and Choice Scarf users such as Excadrill, Kingdra, and Victini.
* A Life Orb is used to slightly increase its damage output, making up for its lackluster Special Attack. Probably list some KOes
* Aloraichium Z allows Alolan Raichu to use its signature Z-move Stoked Sparksurfer, a 175 BP move that lets it OHKO most targets some examples please that Thunderbolt would not. However, this is a one-time use, and would leave Alolan Raichu effectively itemless for the rest of the battle.

* Alolan Raichu's sole purpose is to sweep with the help of Electric Terrain. It handles many of Electric-type teams' threats, namely Mega Venusaur, Choice Scarf users, and weather sweepers. * If running Electrium-Z, it is best to not use it if possible unless the target is not OHKOed by Thunderbolt. Using Stoked Sparksurfer should be avoided until it ia absolutely necessary. Aloraichium-z, actually?
* Psychic should be used against Grass- and Electric-types that don't resist it, the most notable target being Mega Venusaur. And some ground types+alolan Marowak
* Avoid a direct confrontation with Alolan Muk. Alolan Muk is a tricky opponent, as it involves mindgames between Shadow Sneak, Knock Off, and Pursuit. Generally, Stoked Sparksurfer would be the best play here, but it helps to have Alolan Muk weakened beforehand.

* As Alolan Raichu is essential against Ground-type teams, it should be used late-game against Ground-type teams. In order to guarantee a sweep, previous damage on Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon is needed before sending in Alolan Raichu.

Tapu Koko sets Electric Terrain upon switch-in thanks to it ability Electric Surge, and access to Dazzling Gleam lets it check Dragon- and Dark-types like Latios and Hydreigon. It's access to Taunt discourages stall and prevents the opponent from spamming a recovery move against Alolan Raichu.
* Zapdos acts as a Ground-immunity and a special tank, switching into the likes of Hydreigon and Latios that Alolan Raichu cannot handle. It also clears away hazards with Defog and threatens opposing walls, like Hippowdon and Gastrodon, with Toxic.252 SpA Life Orb Raichu-Alola Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Hydreigon: 299-354 (92 - 108.9%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
* Xurkitree is another sweeper that makes use of its coverage options. With access to Dazzling Gleam and Energy Ball, it helps weaken Dragon- and Ground-type teams that give Alolan Raichu trouble. Dazzling Gleam also helps againstinst Dark-types Such as? What dark types does dazzling gleam beat that Raichu struggles with, because it doesn't beat ttar or alolan muk
* Magnezone is able to trap Steel-types like Ferrothorn, taking it out with Hidden Power Fire. It also helps a not against Grass-type teams, as they usually lack switch-ins to Magnezone.

Other Options
=============
Electric
------

* A Choice Specs set may be used in order to make up for its lackluster Special Attack. However, Alolan Raichu appreciates the coverage that it can run, and being locked into one move allows that opponent to easily check it.
* Psyshock may be used to hit specially defensive Pokemon like Dragalge on their weaker defensive side. However, Psychic is usually the better option as it helps against defensive Mega Venusaur.
* Volt switch here I should think, it's def better than nasty plot
* Nasty Plot gives a way for Alolan Raichu to increase it Special Attack to very high levels. However, its poor bulk makes it hard to find an opportunity to set up.
* Surf may be used as it allows Alolan Raichu to hit Ground-types more consistently, but most notably, it gives it a way of hitting Alolan Marowak harder than Psychic.

Checks and Counters
===================

Electric
------

**Specially defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon like Chansey, Tyranitar, Goodra, and Alolan Muk are able to survive any of Alolan Raichu's attacks, and may retaliate with their STAB moves or simply by stalling it out in the case of Chansey. Some of these should go down below, or only be here. You shouldn't really have the same pokemon in 3 different categories (*cough* alolan muk *cough*)

**Grass-types**: Grass-types Gove quite a bit of trouble to Alolan Raichu, as it has no way to hit them effectively. Cradily especially is a hide threat to Alolan Raichu, as it can set up hazards and heal of damage all the while not taking much from Alolan Raichu's attacks. However, it has to watch out for focus Blast. Unless it is the Focus Blast variant, Alolan Raichu is easily checked by Ferrothorn. This gives Ferrothorn the opportunity to set up hazards or Leech Seed or to fire off a Power Whip. Focus Blast isn't a variant, it's on the main set and has no slashes; it should be assumed in the analysis that raichu is running it

**Pursuit trappers**: Due to Alolan Raichu's bad bulk, it is prone to being Pursuit trapped by a plethora or Dark-types that are usually able to survive a Thunderbolt. Tyranitar does not take much from Thunderbolt due to its incredible special bulk, and Alolan Muk and Skuntank can threaten it with priority if it chooses to stay in. Put alolan muk in here

**Priority**: Alolan Raichu is heavily prone to being revenge killed by priority moves. Its typing only grants it a resistance to Vacuum Wave and Mach Punch, and it easily KOed by Azumarill's Aqua Jet, Dragonite's Extreme Speed, Mimikyu's Shadow Sneak, and Bisharp's Sucker Punch. 252 Atk Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Raichu-Alola: 176-210 (67.4 - 80.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO, as ghostium-z is the analysis-standard set.

**Dragon-types**: Aside from Garchomp which is dented by Hidden Power Ice, most Dragon-types have no reason to fear Alolan Raichu. Most Dragon-types don't take too much from Hidden Power Ice, and resist all of Alolan Raichu's coverage moves. However, Hydreigon has to watch out for Focus Blast. uhh, do salamence/kyub not exist anymore? many dragons with secondary types can really be threatened

**Alolan Muk**: Assault Vest Alolan Muk is a huge threat to Alolan Raichu, as it takes minimal damage from Alolan Raichu's attacks and threatens to KO in return with Knock Of. It also prevents Alolan Raichu from switching out with Pursuit. Up to pursuit trappers

Consider combining this with pursuit as *trapping*

**Entry hazards**: Alolan Raichu is prone to being easily worn down by entry hazards. Toxic Spikes, Spikes, and Stealth Rock, combined with the recoiled from Life Orb, hinder its longevity. Sticky Web puts its in range of being outsped by Choice Scarf users such as? Not all of them outspeed after webs because it's still hitting 466 speed.

I'd like a bullet here for electric immunities..
Nice work!

Overview:
- Redundant line:
* Its signature ability Surge Surfer doubles its Speed in Electric Terrain.
- Add Surf back to coverage, we're going to have it.
- Redundancy again:
* It is able to hit Steel-types that trouble Electric-type teams, namely Ferrothorn and Magnezone, for super effective damage with Focus Blast.
- Mention that it's one of Electric's best sweepers

Set:
- Aloraichium Z is pretty much unviable. It should not be used.
- Choice Specs is great for the higher damage output but being locked into moves can be troubling, so it should definitely be behind Life Orb.
- Modest almost completely outclasses Timid. You pretty much don't ever want to be using Alolan Raichu outside of Electric Terrain unless you're absolutely forced to. The extra damage from Modest is also crucial for netting certain KOs as well.
- Also, Focus Blast should pretty much always be used for hitting Ferrothorn. You really don't want your Mega Venusaur check to be walled by Ferrothorn. Similarly, vs Steel, it doesn't matter if you can KO Excadrill if Ferrothorn switches in.

[SET]
name: All Out Attacker (Electric)
move 1: Thunderbolt
move 2: Psychic
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Grass Knot / Hidden Power Ice / Surf
item: Life Orb / Choice Specs
ability: Surge Surfer
nature: Modest
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
ivs: 29 HP

Moves:
- Remove Stoked Sparksurfer.
- I don't really like the Psychic line. What is included in "the likes of Mega Venusaur"? What Pokemon would that be? Explain its good coverage with Thunderbolt.
- Add Surf here. Surf + Focus Blast is not horrible coverage. You can't drop Focus Blast for the reasons I explained above. However, losing Grass Knot is not the worst, since Hippowdon and Gastrodon still cannot switch into Psychic, but Seismitoad can. This makes Alolan Raichu a bit less reliable against Ground, as it cannot beat Hippowdon or Gastrodon if they get free switches. Surf hits the Hidden Power Ice targets for a little less damage, but those are big threats. That's why Surf is the last slash. Its coverage is great, but the other two have superior coverage often, but not often enough to remove it from the set altogether.

Set Details:
- Remove Timid.
You shouldn't be using Alolan Raichu outside of Terrain unless you're forced to, so it doesn't matter if it's slow. You also want Modest to hit certain KOs. It's pretty much mandatory for Life Orb, but even Choice Specs appreciates the boost.
(LO) Almost always KOing Tyranitar with Thunderbolt -> Focus Blast without Stealth Rock support, as otherwise Pursuit + sand + Life Orb recoil guarantees a trade with Alolan Raichu.
(LO) Always OHKOing offensive Heatran after Stealth Rock damage with Focus Blast. You don't want to be KOed back by Earth Power after Life Orb recoil.
(Specs) Almost always 2HKOing Assault Vest Magearna with Thunderbolt

- Explain that Choice Specs boosts Alolan Raichu's damage even further at the cost of locking it into one move. Use the Magearna example I gave you here.
- Remove Aloraichium Z

Usage Tips:
- I don't like how the opposing priority line is phrased. Alolan Raichu pretty much needs to avoid switching into any attacks period, not just priority moves.
- Also note that when you talk about not using Alolan Raichu out of Terrain that Alolan Raichu's damage is pretty mediocre and nothing to write home about.
- Remove Aloraichium Z
- When you're talking about Psychic, you should make it clear that Psychic really is only used if Thunderbolt is resisted. Electric Terrain-boosted Thunderbolt outdamages super effective Psychic.
- Avoid direct confrontation with Pursuit trappers in general, of which Alolan Muk is the most dangerous. For example, you really don't want to be stuck against a full HP Tyranitar that survives Focus Blast and KOes it.
- In general, I'd say that Alolan Raichu should be saved for after its checks are removed, which would combine your Muk / Ground lines. If there are Pursuit trappers healthy, taking an early KO can result in losing Alolan Raichu, for example.

Team Options:
- Why would your Zapdos have Toxic? It needs Heat Wave. Talk about how it threatens Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor for Alolan Raichu.
- Is Victini a threat that Rotom-W is so needed for?
- Xurkitree should pretty much never use Dazzling Gleam, so that really shouldn't be here. Talk about Alolan Raichu and Xurkitree weakening shared checks. Also, mention that Tail Glow Xurkitree can break special walls including Chansey for Alolan Raichu.

Other Options:
- Remove Choice Specs and Surf
- Add Timid
- Should also mention that Psyshock almost never 2HKOes Alolan Marowak
- Just remove Nasty Plot it's absolutely horrible. Lose turns, can never set up, lose coverage. Literally no reason to use this when you even have Tail Glow Xurkitree too.

Checks and Counters:
Ok this needs to be reordered and partially reworked.

First Alolan Muk. It's the best counter for Alolan Raichu period. Switches in every time and instantly Pursuit traps Alolan Raichu. You can't beat this without doubling. If Alolan Raichu gets a KO while it's around, you've lost Alolan Raichu.

Second is Trapping. This includes Tyranitar, Mega Aerodactyl, and Dugtrio. First two Pursuit trap it after being switched in safely. Dugtrio prevents Alolan Raichu from switching out and can Sucker Punch or Earthquake to OHKO it.

Third is Chansey. Chansey just walls every Alolan Raichu set.

Fourth is Specially Defensive Pokemon. Keep your reasoning. Great examples include Mew and Jirachi.

Fifth is Revenge Killers. Priority fits under this. Add Pokemon that can outspeed Alolan Raichu outside of Electric Terrain.

Last is Electric-immune Pokemon. Alolan Raichu relies heavily on Thunderbolt for its damage, so Pokemon like Alolan Marowak and Lanturn force it to use its weaker coverage moves.

And that should be fine. Electric-resistant Pokemon is tempting to add, but many of them are threatened by coverage moves if they switch into Thunderbolt, while Electric-immune Pokemon have a lot more safety. Even Pokemon like Latios is often KOed by Thunderbolt + Hidden Power Ice after Stealth Rock damage, for example.

Implement and tag me to give it a quick look to make sure things are where they should be.

Implemented Eien. There was one thing that I didn't implement, though.
- When you're talking about Psychic, you should make it clear that Psychic really is only used if Thunderbolt is resisted. Electric Terrain-boosted Thunderbolt outdamages super effective Psychic.
Super effective Psychic outdamages neutral Thunderbolt.
1.5 * 2 > 1.5 * 1.5
So psychic is used when it hits super effectively and thunderbolt is neutral

Remove Goodra from specially defensive Pokemon. Add Tyranitar to Pursuit trappers. I wouldn't say Zapdos switches into Latios. Psyshock -> Draco is a guaranteed KO.

Surf's coverage isn't just for Ground-types. The main reason to use it is to beat Alolan Marowak. Choice Specs almost always OHKOes and Life Orb always does with Stealth Rock damage. The reliability against Ground-types is a secondary plus that should be mentioned after.

[OVERVIEW]

Electric
======
* Alolan Raichu is the best abuser of Electric Terrain, and thanks to its ability Surge Surfer, is able to outspeed nearly every Pokemon in the metagame.
* It is the most efficient sweeper on an Electric team. This statement comes off as just a little subjective, while not providing much information. Just add to this statement by elaborating on the positives of Surge Surfer in general; nearly every Electric-type can abuse Electric Terrain, what makes Alolan Raichu stand out? Being able to check Excadrill and other quick, dangerous threats is notable
* Its unique secondary Psychic-typing allows it to hit key threats, the most notable one being Mega Venusaur, which Electric-type teams usually have trouble with. It also helps in the match-up against Fighting and Poison.
* It has good coverage options in Focus Blast, Hidden Power Ice, Surf, and Grass Knot allowing it to hit Ground-types like Excadrill, Hippowdon, Gliscor, Landorus, and Gastrodon, making it an effective way for Electric-type teams to handle Ground-type teams.
* However, Alolan Raichu's bulk is very underwhelming, and is susceptible to priority moves.
* Its typing does not help defensively with the team's weakness to Ground-types, and its Psychic-typing only adds to its weaknesses, also making it vulnerable to Pursuit.
* Its Special Attack is not something to write home about, and is predominantly useful under Electric Terrain, which gives its Electric-type moves a 50% damage increase.
* Add that it is reliant on Electric Terrain, which puts a timer on its sweep.

Moves
========

* Thunderbolt is its main STAB move, and although it's Special Attack is not the best in the world, Thunderbolt hits pretty hard under the effect to Electric Terrain.
* Psychic is its secondary STAB move, and has goose coverage alongside Thunderbolt. It hits Kommo-o, Nidoking, and especially Mega Venusaur that can't be hit for much by Thunderbolt.
* Focus Blast lets Alolan Raichu Steel- and Rock-types likes Excadrill, Magnezone, Ferrothorn,Tyranitar, and Cradily for super effective damage.
* Grass Knot is a coverage move that lets it hit Ground-types for super effective damage, namely Gastrodon, Seismitoad, and Hippowdon, being able to 2HKO them aside from Seismitoad, which is OHKOed.
* Hidden Power Ice is an optional coverage move to use over Grass Knot. This lets Alolan Raichu to hit Ground-types rhat are hit neutrallt by Grass Knot like Gliscor, Landorus, and Garchomp for super effective damage, hitting them much harder than Grass Knot would.
* Surf can be used as it allows Alolan Raichu to hit Alolan Marowak for super effective damage. It has a chance to OHKO when using a Choice Specs and will always OHKO after Stealth Rock damage when using a Life Orb. It also lets it hit Ground-types more consistently.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Special Attack and Speed lets it be as fast and hit as hard as possible.
* A Modest nature is used so as to maximise Alolan Raichu's Special Attack.
It also lets it KO offensive Heatran after Stealth Rock damage.
* A Choice Specs may be used in order to further increase its Special Attack. Although this may leave Alolan Raichu locked into a move, it grants a significant boost in power. For example, it lets Alolan Raichu almost always 2HKO Assault Vest Magearna in Electric Terrain. Point out that locking into a move can make it harder for Alolan Raichu to clean late-game.
* When using a Life Orb, 29 IVs in HP minimize Life Orb recoil.

Usage Tips
========

* Alolan Raichu's sole purpose is to sweep with the help of Electric Terrain. It handles many of Electric-type teams' threats, namely Mega Venusaur, Choice Scarf users, and weather sweepers. It's usefulness is highly dependant on Electric Terrain, so it is worth noting that sending it out while Electric Terrain is absent should he avoided as its offensive presence in the absence of Electric Terrain is nothing to write home about.
When you mention "weather sweepers", Excadrill should be mentioned specifically.
* Avoid sending it in against hazards or keeping it in against a Pokemon with a priority move like Mamoswine and Diggersby, as it very frail and needs to be kept healthy whenever possible.
The phrase "needs to be kept healthy whenever possible" comes off awkwardly. It gets the wrong idea across; ideally every Pokemon should be kept healthy whenever possible. Reword to something like "Alolan Raichu is extremely easy to revenge kill with priority after repeated chip damage from Life Orb recoil or entry hazards, so prevent sending it in needlessly."
* Although it may be used to revenge kill slower weakened threats, Alolan Raichu should almost always be used only under Electric Terrain, as otherwise, it would be prone to being revenge killed by Choice Scarf users and weather sweepers.
This point is redundant; you already mentioned this in the first bullet point. Just merge the two by adding something like "Although it may be used to revenge kill slower weakened threats, it's usefulness is highly dependent..." etc. Then remove this third bullet point.
* In Electric Terrain, Thunderbolt should be spammed as much as possible, unless the target resists resists it, is immune to it, or is hit harder by Psychic. Neutral Thunderbolt in Electric Terrain does more than a super effective coverage move.
* Psychic should be used against Grass- and Electric-types that don't resist it, the most notable target being Mega Venusaur. It should also be used against Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type moves, such as Lanturn, Thundurus-T, and Alolan Marowak.
This doesn't need to be in Set Details. You already mention what Psychic hits in the Moves section. Just add Lanturn (Thundy-T isn't really relevant and Marowak is mentioned already) to the Moves section and remove this bullet point.
* Avoid direct confrontations with Pursuit trappers like a Tyranitar at full health or Alolan Muk, which always wins in a face off against Alolan Raichu.
* Avoid attempting to get a kill with Alolan Raichu if a Pursuit trappers still exists on the opponent's team. If Alolan Raichu gets a kill, there is a good chance of it being trapped and KOed by Pursuit.
* As Alolan Raichu is required to dent Mega Venusaur, avoid sending it out while Alolan Muk is still alive.
The three above bullet points seem to dance around the same subject. Combine the three.
* As Alolan Raichu is essential against Ground-type teams (say why it is essential), it should be used late-game against Ground-type teams. In order to guarantee a sweep, previous damage on Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon is needed before sending in Alolan Raichu. because of its lackluster power
* Talk more about Electric Terrain, and specifically the short amount of time it is available. Also add in how Tapu Koko needs to work with Alolan Raichu and can pivot to get Alolan Raichu in safely, etc. If you need Alolan Raichu to sweep late-game, you can't lose Tapu Koko too early, for example.

Team Options
========

* Tapu Koko is an essential teammate for Alolan Raichu.
* Zapdos acts as a Ground-immunity and a special tank, switching into the likes of Latios and Latias that Alolan Raichu cannot handle. It also clears away hazards with Defog and also threatens Steel types like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn with Heat Wave.
* Xurkitree is another sweeper that makes use of its coverage options. With access to Energy Ball, it is able to wear down checks that are shared with Alolan Raichu. With Tail Glow, it is able to break special walls like Chansey that give Alolan Raichu trouble.
* Magnezone is able to trap Steel-types like Ferrothorn, taking it out with Hidden Power Fire. It also helps a not against Grass-type teams, as they usually lack switch-ins to Magnezone. How does this help Alolan Raichu specifically?

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Electric
--------
* Psyshock may be used to hit specially defensive Pokemon like Dragalge on their weaker defensive side. However, Psychic is usually the better option as it helps against defensive Mega Venusaur.
* Volt Switch may be used on the set as well, allowing it to pivot out on the last turn of Electric Terrain. However, this comes at the cost of a coverage move, and is generally not worth using./
Add Timid, since it lets Raichu make use of its good Speed tier outside of Electric Terrain. However, mention why Modest is preferred because Alolan Raichu rarely needs to switch in when Electric Terrain is not up.

Checks and Counters

Electric
-------
**Alolan Muk**: Assault Vest Alolan Muk is a huge threat to Alolan Raichu and can consistently counter it, as it takes minimal damage from Alolan Raichu's attacks and threatens to KO in return with Knock Off. It also prevents Alolan Raichu from switching out with Pursuit. Add that Alolan Muk prevents Alolan Raichu from doing its job of beating Mega Venusaur

**Trappers**: Due to Alolan Raichu's bad bulk, it is prone to being Pursuit trapped by a plethora Pursuit trappers. Mega Aerodactyl and Tyranitar can Pursuit trap it given a safe chance to switch in, while Dugtrio prevents it from switching out and can KO with Sucker Punch or Earthquake.

**Chansey**: Chansey completely walls any Alolan Raichu thanks to its monstrous Special Defense and access to reliable recovery in Soft Boiled or Wish.

**Specially defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mew and Jirachi are able to survive any of Alolan Raichu's attacks, and may retaliate by slowly wearing it down.

*Revenge Killers**: Alolan Raichu is heavily prone to being revenge killed by priority moves. Its typing only grants it a resistance to Vacuum Wave and Mach Punch, and it easily KOed by common priority moves like Azumarill's Aqua Jet, Dragonite's Extreme Speed, Mimikyu's Shadow Sneak, and Bisharp's Sucker Punch. It is also threatened by faster Pokemon in the absence of terrain, such as Weavile and Choice Scarf Excadrill.

"Although it may be used to revenge kill slower weakened threats, Alolan Raichu should almost always be used only under Electric Terrain, as otherwise, it would be prone to being revenge killed by Choice Scarf users and weather sweepers."

Both of these lines say the same thing. I'd remove the latter one.

As a side-note, you should re-read your analysis before sending it to GP, as there are a few spelling mistakes/typos/spaces in the wrong places.

qc 3/3 n_n good job

(The 'goose coverage' was meant to be 'good coverage', but I probably misspelled it and autocorrect did its thing. I dunno why it skipped over some of the other ones though.)

* Thunderbolt should be spammed as much as possible,(RC) unless the target resists resists it, is immune to it, or is hit harder by Psychic. Neutral A neutral Thunderbolt in Electric Terrain does more than a super effective coverage move.
* Psychic should be used against Grass- and Electric-types that don't resist it, the most notable target notably being Mega Venusaur. It should also be used against Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type moves, such as Lanturn, Thundurus-T, and Alolan Marowak.
* Avoid direct confrontations with Pursuit trappers like a Tyranitar at full health or and Alolan Muk, which always wins win in a face off against Alolan Raichu. Also,(AC) avoid attempting to get a kill KO with Alolan Raichu if a Pursuit trappers still exists on the opponent's team;(add semicolon) if.(remove period) If Alolan Raichu gets a kill KO, there is a good chance of it being trapped and KOed by Pursuit.
* As Alolan Raichu is essential against Ground-type teams due to its coverage and ability to outspeed Sand Rush Excadrill, it should be used late-game against Ground-type teams. In order to guarantee a sweep, previous damage on Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon is needed before sending in Alolan Raichu because of its lacklustre lackluster power without being able to spam Thunderbolt.

Electric
--------
* Psyshock may be used to hit specially defensive Pokemon like Dragalge on their weaker defensive side;(add semicolon) however.(remove) However, Psychic is usually the better option,(AC) as it helps against defensive Mega Venusaur.
* Volt Switch may be used on the set as well, allowing it to pivot out on the last turn of Electric Terrain,(AC) but.(remove period) However,(RC) (repetition) this comes at the cost of a coverage move,(RC) and is generally not worth using.
* A Timid nature may be used to utilize Alolan Raichu's high Speed even outside of Electric Terrain;(add semicolon) however.(RC) However, Alolan Raichu is rarely used outside of Electric Terrain, and the small increase in Speed with a Timid nature does not justify using it over the additional power from a Modest nature.

*Revenge Killers**: **Revenge Killers**: Alolan Raichu is heavily prone to being revenge killed by priority moves. It is also threatened by faster Pokemon in the absence of terrain Electric Terrain, such as Weavile and Choice Scarf Excadrill.
