[Monotype R1] smashlloyd20 [Fire] vs. Glacier Knight [Water]

Rules
Bring 4, Pick 3 Singles.
You PM 4 pokemons to the ref from your team, but the battle will be 3vs3 singles. You will choose and send out your mons as the battle develops.
72 Hour DQ, 1 Warning
Switch = OK
Abilities:

Items: All
Subsitutions: 3
Megas: 1

Turn Order:
Coin Flip
Ubers Rule: Each type has an Ubers list. You may only use one of those Pokemon per match. NOTE: This would mean that you can only send in 1 mon from that list per match.
Special Rule: Pokemon are equipped on send-in, similar to how Anime-Style Simulator challenges work.
Special Rule #2: The Gym League rules on Megas is in effect. A mega may be used as long as it shares a type with the gym. Pokemon that mega evolve into a Pokemon with the right type can only be used in their mega evolved form, and enter the field mega evolved (see: Mega Lopunny in Fighting). Pokemon that lose the proper type on mega evolution may not be used (see: Mega Aggron in Rock).
Special Rule #3: Silvally can be used, but it must hold the Memory associated with the typing of the team, unless you are Normal, in which case, you cannot use a Memory. Silvally will be immune to any item-changing/removing effect if it is holding a Memory item, and Knock Off will get a boosted BAP against a Silvally holding a Memory.
Arena
The ASB Tournament Arena
Field Type: Neutral
Complexity: Simple
Format: All

Restrictions: No Restrictions

Description: Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokémon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokémon battling arena. In the centre of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Poké Ball centre). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about 4.5m wide & creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is 24m wide, 33m long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it is an outdoor arena with a large water source & packed dirt. Pokémon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying-type Pokémon, who cannot leave the arena & cannot fly higher than 18m). This prevents Pokémon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokémon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

Fuck redraws right smash? Going from best match up in the book to worst. Also Glacier has me pull the most annoying as hell profiles from the teams thread and still get to order second.

Never mind my complaining about your profiles Glacier, at least you have mega sprites. Not like this smashlloyd fella who if you ask Frosty makes a habit of not having them. Regardless I eventually let his Charizard Mega Evolve after I go and fetch a picture of it and it proceeds to do a pretty adequate job of being one of a few Fire types who can actually stand up to anything Water related. Azumarill on the other hand is being its usually useful self and seems to have its heart set on going into next round with an unfamiliar speed advantage, at least that's the only explanation I have for all the Bulldozing when neutral STABs out damage. Unfortunately one unlucky paralysis roll puts a halt to any such dream anyway. When all is said and done for the round standings remain more or less equal and its not on Glacier to make the going and see if something a little more interesting can't be happening here.

Charizard Mega Evolved into Mega Charizard-X!
