[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Latios is the best option for revenge killing on Dragon teams thanks to its high Special Attack and incredible Speed.
* It learns Defog, which allows Latios to remove Stealth Rock and other entry hazards, which is valuable because of the many Dragon-types that are weak to Rock, like Kyurem-B, Dragonite, and Salamence.
* Latios learns Surf, which hits some of its checks like Heatran, Psychic to hit Poison- and Fighting-types, and Draco Meteor, which does immense damage to most targets.
* Latios has a valuable immunity to Ground-type moves and Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web because of Levitate.
* Latios is faster than any other Dragon-type, making it vital against other Dragon teams, and it is the only viable Dragon-type that outspeeds Magearna after a Shift Gear with a Choice Scarf.
* However, Latios's Psychic typing means that it is weak to Ghost and Dark, offering nothing to Dragon teams.
* Latios can't break through most specially defensive walls that Latios can't hit super effectively.
* Latios also has a mediocre Defense stat, which leaves it vulnerable to physical priority moves.

Moves
========

* Draco Meteor is Latios's strongest STAB move and best tool for revenge killing, although it lowers Special Attack by two stages.
* Psychic is a solid STAB move and is used over Psyshock because the extra power from Psychic helps Latios revenge kill much more reliably.
* Defog is used to remove entry hazards for teammates that are vulnerable to them, like Dragonite and Kyurem-B.
* Trick can be used to cripple walls such as Jirachi and the Normal-type core of Chansey and Porygon2, both of which hate losing their Eviolite.
* Surf is an option instead of Trick to hit some foes that normally switch into Latios, like Heatran and Gliscor.

Set Details
========

* Maximum Special Attack investment allows Latios to deal as much damage as it can.
* Maximum Speed investment, a Timid nature, and a Choice Scarf let Latios outspeed every unboosted Pokemon in the tier as well as most Choice Scarf users, notably Keldeo and Excadrill.
* Levitate allows Latios to switch into Ground-type attacks and gain momentum.

Usage Tips
========

* Latios is best used to revenge kill threats to Dragon teams, such as Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard X.
* Latios should use Defog to remove entry hazards, but be careful of opposing Pokemon like Mimikyu that can set up Swords Dance on a Latios Choice-locked into Defog.
* When a wall is expected to switch into Latios like Chansey or Zapdos, use Trick to replace its item with a Choice Scarf and cripple it for the rest of the game. However, don't use Trick unless Latios doesn't need its Choice Scarf to revenge kill anything for the rest of the game.
* Latios can also use Trick on foes that you expect to use a status or utility move that turn, like Heatran setting Stealth Rock.
* Because of the multitude of resistances proved by Dragon-typing, Latios has many opportunities to use Defog. It can Defog when a foe is Choice-locked into a move that Latios resists, like Victini locked into V-Create. Latios can also Defog on foes that it forces out, like Mega Venusaur, or walls that can't do anything back to Latios, like Mantine. Hard switching into Stealth Rock setters like Garchomp and Nidoking and forcing them out also gives Latios an opportunity to use Defog. However, Latios will be gradually chipped if it switches into attacks from the likes of Mega Charizard Y too often.
* Latios is essentially forced to switch out after using Draco Meteor, which lowers its Special Attack by two stages. Because of this, Latios can be set up on by sweepers like Mega Scizor and Mew.
* Also, be careful of locking Latios into Draco Meteor when there are Fairy-types or Psychic when there are Dark-types on the opposing team, as Latios will be forced to switch out and thus lose momentum.

Team Options
========

* Latios removes entry hazards with Defog for Dragonite, which greatly appreciates having its Multiscale intact. It also revenge kills Pokemon that could revenge kill Dragonite like Kyurem-B. In return, Dragonite breaks through most Pokemon that wall Latios, like Chansey.
* Salamence appreciates Latios's ability to handle faster threats like Tapu Koko and remove hazards because of its weakness to Stealth Rock, which can prevent it from using Dragon Dance and sweeping.
* Kyurem-B punches holes into opposing teams and eliminates walls like Zapdos and Mantine so Latios can sweep. In return, Latios removes Stealth Rock for Kyurem-B, deals with the Fighting-types that threaten it like Keldeo, and revenge kills faster threats.
* Dragalge is neutral to Fairy and can eliminate most Fairy-types with Adaptability-boosted Sludge Wave. In return, Latios handles faster Pokemon that threaten out Dragalge, resists Psychic, and is immune to Ground because of Levitate.
* Hydreigon resists Dark and Ghost and can remove Steel-types that switch into Latios with Fire Blast. In return, Latios resists Fighting and revenge kills Fighting-types with Psychic.
* Garchomp is able to break through Steel teams with a combination of Ground STAB moves and Fire Blast, and it sets Stealth Rock to damage foes upon switching in as well as breaking Sturdy or Focus Sash. Latios revenge kills faster foes that would KO Garchomp.
* Latias also learns Defog which allows Latios to use another coverage move, and it learns Healing Wish to heal Latios and allow it to sweep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Dragon
--------
* Life Orb or Choice Specs can be used to make Latios deal much more damage, but its role as a revenge killer is usually too important to pass up.
* Life Orb sets can use Hidden Power Fire to hit Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Skarmory.
* Psyshock can be used over Psychic to essentially become a mixed attacker; however, Psyshock is incredibly weak without Life Orb and should not be used on Choice Scarf sets because it inhibits Latios's revenge killing ability.
* Roost is also an option to heal Life Orb's recoil and give Latios a lot more longevity throughout the game; however, this requires it to forgo a coverage move.
* Ice Beam can be used to hit targets like Togekiss, Tapu Bulu, and Gliscor, while Thunderbolt can be used to hit Tapu Fini, Mantine, and Azumarill. However, both of these moves require Latios to forgo one of its other moves.

Checks and Counters
===================

Dragon
--------
**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Magearna and Clefable can switch into Latios easily and can threaten it out with a Fairy-type STAB move.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Mantine can switch into Latios even with Stealth Rock up and can whittle it down with Toxic, Jirachi can damage Latios with Iron Head, and Tapu Fini threatens to KO it with Moonblast.

**Chansey**: Chansey can switch into all of Latios's moves and gradually KO it with Seismic Toss and Toxic. However, Trick causes Chansey to lose its Eviolite and locks it into a move, crippling Chansey for the rest of the game.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types like Tyranitar and Sharpedo are immune to Psychic and the former takes minimal damage from Latios's other moves; however, Draco Meteor OHKOes Sharpedo.

**Pursuit Trappers**: Tyranitar, Alolan Muk, and Mega Aerodactyl can all Pursuit trap Latios and either KO or severely weaken it.

**Steel-types**: Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Heatran can all switch into Latios, and Mega Scizor can set up Swords Dance against it. However, Heatran can be 2HKOed by Surf.

Overview:
- Should note that it's the only viable Dragon-type that can outspeed +2 Magearna. It also outspeeds all other viable Dragon-types, making it essential for the Dragon matchup.
- Explain why Defog is so useful for Dragon teams, which is why Latios is almost a must.

Set:
- Psyshock does pretty much 0 damage to any bulky Pokemon without a boosting item. It's better to use Psychic to make revenge killing more reliable against offensive Pokemon, which is Latios's actual role.
- Defog is necessary for protecting Dragonite, Kyurem-B, and Salamence.
- Trick's utility against most defensive threats is too good to pass up in most cases, so don't slash anything behind it.

Moves:
- Surf is only an option over Trick.
- Trick's main targets are the Normal-type Eviolite users, so you should be naming that specifically.
- Explain the Psychic thing.

Usage Tips:
- Talk about the downsides to using Trick, as you can run into problems such as not being able to revenge kill a +1 Porygon-Z.
- You should also talk about using Trick as Pokemon use their utility moves, such as when Heatran uses Stealth Rock.
- Explain some decent opportunities to use Defog.
- Talk about hard switching Latios into Stealth Rock setters that it can threaten, as it can get off a free Defog when they switch out.
- However, it should be noted that Latios should be careful of switching into attacks, as it lacks longevity and can be very easily chipped down by threats like Mega Charizard Y.

Team Options:
- Add Garchomp for breaking Steel teams that pressure Latios.

Other Options:
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power Fire
- Roost

Checks and Counters:
- Separate Dark-types and Pursuit trappers (Tyranitar can also Pursuit trap btw)

Good job QC 1/3

- Mention its Psychic STAB.
* Latios has a valuable immunity to Ground-type moves because of Levitate.
- How is it valuable? Feel mentioning its immunity to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web is worth.
* It also is faster than any other Dragon-type, making it vital against other Dragon teams, and is the only viable Dragon-type to outspeed Magearna after a Shift Gear.
- Only when equipped with a Choice Scarf.
* Latios also has a mediocre Defense stat, which leaves it vulnerable to priority.
- physical priority*

Moves

* Surf is an option to hit some foes that normally switch into Latios like Heatran and Gliscor.
- Surf's only an option over Trick, its STAB moves and Defog are too important to give up. Mention that.

Usage Tips

* Latios is best used to revenge kill threats to Dragon teams, such as Kyurem-B and Azumarill.
- Azumarill really isn't the biggest threat to Dragon teams once they're given the chance to switch something in after sac'ing a Pokemon and even then, Pokemon like Kyurem-B handle it better. Use something else as an example, maybe like a weakened Tapu Koko?
* Also, be careful of locking yourself into Draco Meteor when there are Fairy-types on the opposing team, because Latios will be forced to switch out and lose momentum.
- The same applies for using Psychic against teams with Dark-types.

Team Options

- Ok so I really don't like the look of Team Option right now because the top three bullets make it seem like Defogging is Latios's main role when it is absolutely not, revenge killing faster threats and cleaning up late-game is its main purpose. Easiest way to fix that is just not focus that much on hazard removal and mention all three of them being able to punch holes into the opposing teams to let Latios clean up while mentioning being able to remove Stealth Rock as an afterthought for Salamence and Kyurem-B (not Dragonite because keeping Multiscale intact is very important [in case it isn't clear, Defogging should still be first sentence in Dragonite's bullet]).
* Dragalge is neutral to Fairy and can eliminate most Fairy-types with Adaptability-boosted Sludge Wave. In return, Latios handles faster pokemon that threatens out Dragalge, and it also resists Psychic.
- and is immune to Ground.
* Hydreigon resists Dark and Ghost, and can remove Steel-types that switch into Latios with Fire Blast. In return, Latios resists Fighting and revenge kills Fighting-types with Psychic.
- Hydreigon also appreciates the fact that Latios can serve as a fast revenge killer, letting it run a wallbreaking set instead of Choice Scarf.
- Latias, gets Healing Wish, can run Defog to let Latios use some other coverage move instead. Should definitely get a bullet.

Other Options

* Life Orb sets can use Hidden Power Fire to hit Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Skarmory. It can Psyshock over Psychic to be able to hit specially defensive targets like Cradily. Roost is also an option to give Latios a lot more longevity throughout the game.
- Make Roost and Psyshock seperate bullets and mention why they aren't as viable as other, better options.

* Psyshock can be used over Psychic to essentially become a mixed attacker;(add semicolon),(RC) however,(AC) Psyshock is incredibly weak without Life Orb and should not be used on Choice Scarf sets because it inhibits Latios's revenge killing ability.
* Roost is also an option to heal Life Orb's recoil and gives Latios a lot more longevity throughout the game;(add semicolon),(RC) however,(AC) this requires it to forgo a coverage move.
* Ice Beam can be used to hit targets like Togekiss, Tapu Bulu, and Gliscor,(AC) while.(remove period) Thunderbolt can be used to hit Tapu Fini, Mantine, and Azumarill. However, both of these moves require Latios to forgo one of its other moves.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Magearna and Clefable can switch into Latios easily,(RC) and can threaten it out with a Fairy-type STAB move.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types like Tyranitar and Sharpedo are immune to Psychic,(AC) and the former takes minimal damage from Latios's other moves;(add semicolon),(RC) however,(AC) Draco Meteor OHKOes Sharpedo.

[OVERVIEW]

Dragon
========

* Latios is the best option for revenge killing for on Dragon teams thanks to its high Special Attack and incredible Speed.
* It learns Defog, which allows Latios to remove Stealth Rock and other entry hazards, which is valuable because of the many Dragon-types that are weak to Rock, like Kyurem-B, Dragonite, and Salamence.
* Latios learns Surf,(AC) which allows it to hits some of its checks like Heatran, Psychic to hit Poison- and Fighting-types, and Draco Meteor, which does immense damage to most targets.
* Latios has a valuable immunity to Ground-type moves and Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web because of Levitate.
* It Latios is faster than any other Dragon-type, making it vital against other Dragon teams, and it is the only viable Dragon-type to that outspeeds Magearna after a Shift Gear with a Choice Scarf.
* However, Latios's Psychic-(RH)typing means that it is weak to Ghost and Dark, as well as offering nothing to Dragon teams.
* It Latios can't break through most specially defensive walls that Latios can't hit supereffectively super effectively.
* Latios also has a mediocre Defense stat, which leaves it vulnerable to physical priority moves.

Moves
========

* Draco Meteor is Latios's strongest STAB move and best tool for revenge killing, although it lowers the user's Special Attack by two stages.
* Psychic is a solid STAB move and that is used over Psyshock because the extra power from Psychic helps Latios revenge kill much more reliably.
* Defog is used to remove entry hazards for teammates that are vulnerable to them, like Dragonite and Kyurem-B.
* Trick can be used to cripple walls such as Jirachi and the Normal-type core of Chansey and Porygon2, both of which hate losing their Eviolite ("the core" would be singular, but it's awkward to say that the core hates losing its Eviolite).
* Surf is an option instead of Trick to hit some foes that normally switch into Latios,(AC) like Heatran and Gliscor.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

* Latios is best used to revenge kill threats to Dragon teams, such as Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard X.
* Latios should use Defog to remove entry hazards, but be careful of opposing Pokemon like Mimikyu that can set up Swords Dance on a Latios Choice-(AH)locked into Defog.
(Stealth Rock isn't a status move)
* Because of the multitude of resistances proved by Dragon-typing, Latios has many opportunities to use Defog. It can Defog when a foe is Choice-(AH)locked into a move that Latios resists, like Victini locked into V-Create.
* Also, be careful of locking yourself Latios into Draco Meteor when there are Fairy-types or Psychic when there are Dark-types on the opposing team, because as Latios will be forced to switch out and thus lose momentum.

Team Options
========

* (space) Salamence appreciates Latios's ability to handle faster threats like Tapu Koko and remove hazards because of its weakness to Stealth Rock, which can prevent it from using Dragon Dance and sweeping.
* Kyurem-B punches holes into opposing teams into opposing teams and eliminates walls like Zapdos and Mantine so Latios can sweep. In return,(AC) Latios removes Stealth Rock for Kyurem-B, deals with the Fighting-types that threaten it like Keldeo, and revenge kills faster threats.
* Dragalge is neutral to Fairy and can eliminate most Fairy-types with Adaptability-boosted Sludge Wave. In return, Latios handles faster Pokemon that threatens threaten out Dragalge, resists Psychic, and is immune to Ground because of Levitate.
* Hydreigon resists Dark and Ghost,(RC) and can remove Steel-types that switch into Latios with Fire Blast.
