Also that sableye has 252 HP not 247 HP which I thought was needed to properly test wether or not the rayquaza had the proper HP ivs when using pain split.

No 252 HP works to pain split test ray. 247 would be needed if you were using final gambit. With pain split your hp is set to the average of your HP and your opponents, If ray has 248 and you have 252 your HP will end up (252+248)/2 = 250.

Sorry about the lack of air balloon. It was unfortunately ate by pokebank when I had to transfer it between 3DS's. I will try looking for where my son misplaced the other 3DS and when I find it I can trade it over to you. Alternatively, you can get an air balloon for 48 BP.
