Depends whether you can handle two major projects concurrently timewise, otherwise I would give the priority to Koffing as a serious work.
Though, if you're really looking for a bigger project, it would be quite cool to have both Sonichu and Ogorki racing eachother. ;)

Remember, I work quickly, assuming I don't make a background. However, I will make a background with the Koffing. What do you suggest for the color of the gas: the standard brownish or rainbows?
Also, I still make my joke stuff on MS Paint. I didn't abandon it entirely!

Normally, I prefer realism in my images, but rainbow colored gas could actually work really nicely with your style.
